If you are flexible on colors, you can typically get a good deal on sneakers here. It helps to know your prices before shopping here, some items are better deals than others. This store was clean and well stocked. One of the helpful sales associates (Lisa) assisted us in finding a necessary size. She took the time to go in the back and check on shoes for me. She couldn't find the ones I wanted, but she came back with another pair that was similar, but even cheaper! I was so happy to get such a good deal! It didn't take us too long to check out. I had purchased clearance shoes, they didn't ring up correctly, but the matter was quickly fixed. The first was a lady in her late twenties, mid thirties that finished helping her customer. She looked at me, my wife and my daughter and turned her back, folding clothes and pretending to be busy. The next cashier, a young man, finished with his customer and said he would help us. As we walked to the cash register, the lady started whispering in the mans ear about how she hates asians and would never help them. For the record, I am white and third generation American. My wife is Asian and my daughter was born in Australia, raised in America and is American. The young man told her to be nice and we paid. When we got outside my twelve year old daughter looked at me and said "Dad, why do people hate me so much when they don't even know me?" I was devastated. This nast angry excuse for a person destroyed a little girls confidence and self respect with one stupid comment. I truly hope it helped her feel better about her miserable existence on this planet. With Nike showing its colors about how it feels about racism in America, I hope everyone that reads this will join me in boycotting this un-american company. And they helped me make it right. Really made a customer feel taken care of for a honest mistake. Oct 26th at 8:30pm I bought a bike for my son. A surprise gift he's worked hard for and he's earned it. We got it late as we got dinner just before. When getting home I accidentally took the bike down but fell onto the bike. Bent the back rim. Totally my fault. A true honest mistake! Hoping since I just bought the bike. With the receipt & being honest it would be a simple exchange. October 27th 4:30 pm I went back to the bike section found the exact same model color. Nothing different brought it down to the counter. Let the cashier know the situation. Brought the bike in. They needed a manager to check it out. Mindy the store manager thought differently. She wanted to make it clear she would not take my bike back as she knows she did not sell it to me that way. She does a whole bike inspection to make sure they're safe to ride (lady couldn't tighten a bolt with her strength nor tell me a bike a safe if she depended on it) After I stated I did this. Not my 10 year old son who this bike was intended for!! She told me she would not lie and say we sold this as it's a defective bike. Not at all one bit what I told the lady to do. I told her to help me out as she acted like this was a criminal act that I made a mistake and was looking for some help. She told me I would have to order parts for it and wait for them to come in so they could replace them as I would have to pay for the parts as well. After showing her I have the exact same bike with perfectly good parts right here. She began to give me her trained attitude but could not look at me when speaking to me. I told her to look at me when she speaking to me and she decided to throw me out the store and that she would not help me. Immediately I called dicks help center where I told them the exact same story and situation. Where both employees told me the bike should've been exchanged no problem. It's a dicks branded bike. This wasn't a outsource high end brand where possibly going through another supplier was the issue. I was then informed to go to a different store where I could again try and exchange the bike. And this time I had help center on the line ready to help with any push back. Not a single word said you can't have this bike. I was actually helped more at the other store. Where they had technicians on hand. Adjusted my son's new bike. MADE SURE the bike pulled off the racks was actually inspected not like Mindy says she does. And it did need manager approval who was so sweet and even made sure my son got the correct size bike but bigger so he can continue to ride it for years. Mindy you are thee worst manager ever. And if you felt you did your job. You did the opposite. I will never do business with anything you are near. I really can't believe you let a policy that you were wrong about ruin being a good person with power. You could've handled this situation and made it right but you decided to be a Karen in the manager field. To the nice cashier. I'm sorry you have to work with her. Yasmeen Chang, one of the store associates, helped me accomplish all those things. Not only was Yasmeen knowledgeable with the different brands and models but she was patient and understanding with all of my questions. Yasmeen must of pulled out approximately 15 pairs for me to try on and described how each shoe was different from one another. Yasmeen showed great customer service skills, attentiveness, and product knowledge. Yasmeen ultimately helped find the right shoe for me. I highly recommend Fit2Run for anybody in the market for new running shoes. I know I'll be going back.

He gave us great helpful tips and advice. The experience changed when we went to check out. I wanted to discard my shoes, but my brother was getting his sneakers he tried. I handed the shoes to the nearest associate and said "hi can I give these to you, they didn't work out so I'm all set" He walked to the register to help my brother but then began scanning my shoes as well. I quickly told him we were only getting my brother's shoes. He replied with a snark comment about then why did I even give him the shoes in the first place and rolled his eyes. He clearly did not want to be there and was taking it out on the customer. This experience alone would make me not return. The rest of our check out experience was hostile and very unfriendly.
