This was not a lace dress or one multiple layers of tulle/ballgown style. Unfortunately, when I picked up the dress, it was way too short and you could see the tops of my toes. I wore the same heels for the appointment where they pinned the dress for hemming and when I picked it up after it was hemmed. The dress was over hemmed by approximately two inches. I went from wearing a pair of 3.5 inch heels to having to find a pair of kitten heels in order to make things work. This was very disappointing. While I voiced my concerns of "is this too short?" in the store, I didn't really raise a fuss. I had to pay when I dropped the dress off, before the work was done, so it was already paid for....and what would the solution be, anyway? The fabric can't be put back on once it's cut off. I am, however, giving two stars instead of zero because the service was fast with a quick turnaround to pick up my dress, and overall reasonably priced.

It must be a lost art because it just doesn't happen anymore. I'd like to say that the associate at this cleaner's location had a modicum of skill in greeting paying customers and making them feel like valued parts of their business success, but it just doesn't happen. I know I'm going on too long about this absence of courtesy, but it deserves to be said. 2. In closing, I think more than $18.00 to dry clean two pairs of slacks is excessive. What I've learned from this experience is that, although I value the convenience of the location, I'm going to shop around before spending that kind of money to dry clean two pairs of gentlemen's slacks. Both times she has found very unique dresses and really love how much the mother and daughter who own the shop help make sure she finds just what she is looking for or what makes her look amazing.
