The ambiance is cozy, not too bright, but just the right amount of light. I travel about an hour just to eat here. If that doesn't tell you how much I love this restaurant, I don't know what will. So I think this is one of those places that does some things very well... enough to build up a solid base of regulars, even though some of their other offerings were disappointing, like improperly reheated enchiladas. Oddly enough, they have chorizo on the menu, but don't list it among the available proteins on the breakfast taco menu, which I personally find very strange. The other was bean, egg and cheese. Also very good. And they bring red and green salsa to your table to squeeze out into your taco. And the salads are wonderful. At $2.99 they don't overcharge at all, but their breakfast tacos are absolutely more than most, and certainly better than shy at this price point. Actually, I can't imagine a better migas taco.
