Amazing homemade food, generous portions, and outstanding service. You can really taste the love in every bite!

We were in the area and its been a few years...service was good and the place hasn't changed at all, but clean and neat. Standard queso, but a bit of salsa brings it to life. This round wife went with Ground Beef Chiladas with double rice...sauce was good, beef was good....made for a good bite. I went Chicken Chiladas with green sauce, beans and rice. Verde was spot on, chicken was tender....beans were done right. Overall a good visit...Nothing to write home about but a solid meal at that. read more

Food was good. My friend and I both ordered tostada with no meat. It was loaded with avocado, which was definitely a plus. Service was great nice quiet place to have a small lunch. read more

Worst margaritas in Bastrop County. We love the interior of the place. And the food is okay. The service is acceptable. But if you want to have a drink with dinner, stick with beer. I couldn't imagine a worse margarita. The place has potential. But this is the signature Mexican cocktail, and if you can't make one any better than this, you're absolutely not trying and should just take them off the menu. I mean, you went through the trouble of getting a liquor license. But why, when the only liquor you offer is an undrinkable margarita? read more

Very nice atmosphere. Great food. Ate there twice in one day. Recommend our highly. Service was amazing.

Solid Tex Mex. Excellently thin, crisp and fresh chips, perfect salsa. Tender Carne Guisada and when you want to keep it simple and have a ground beef crispy taco, these are the ones. Excellent service with super nice and attentive staff. Walk up to the counter to pay and somehow they know what table you were at and exactly what you had even when the restaurant is busy. read more

So good! Every single item was delish-- beef enchilada, crispy beef taco, refried beans, Spanish rice, and chips & salsa.

We had a great brunch here. Cute place with outstanding service. Big portions that can be shared. Good ingredients and cooked fresh. read more

I usually love this place- the Mexico Lindo Breakfast is AMAZING. BUT today they charged me $5.99 for a side of sliced avocado. Major jump scare. I understand we're going through some Biden-flation, but to charge 6 times the amount the avocado costs... for a few slices... SHEESH. Give me a damn break miss Lindo!!!!!! read more

We saw the good reviews and decided to try it while in town. The food was "passable" but nothing remarkable. My cheese enchiladas were rather bland and the beans were more like soup than refried. My husband's beans and rice were cold - not barely warm, but cold. I wish we could have tasted the chips and salsa but unfortunately we weren't offered any while we watched the other tables receive theirs.... Same with their tortillas...who knows what they taste like because we didn't receive any with our meal. Overall it was disappointing. A one-and-done experience. :( read more

It was a terrible experience today. 2 young kids were allowed to run around the restaurant screaming at the top of their lungs. The owner and wait staff did nothing to stop the disturbance. It was so bad that we asked for TO GO containers, boxed our food up, paid, and left. The food is mediocre at best but, when combined with 2 kids running around and screaming it was TERRIBLE!!!!!! read more

Amazing breakfast plate. Good spice, fresh flavors, and just about everything you'd want in a Mexican breakfast. Highly recommend.

Never fails I give this place a chance and they let me down every time. They have no pride in their cooking. I love fajitas and everytime whether tacos or fajita plate they burn the fajita meat. It always appears it's precooked fajita meat that's been thrown back on grill to heat up and it gets hard and dry. Get better cooks or have cooks have more pride in their cooking !!!! I'm done !!! Not coming back !!! read more

Nice place. The waitstaff is very attentive & friendly. The menu is quite extensive & I love that it serves breakfast all day!

The staff was amazing and very accommodating even when we arrived 20 minutes before they closed & didn't leave until 45 min after they closed. We were late leaving a Jr high basketball game and didn't realize what time they closed. They were all very nice and thanked us for coming in. We will defiantly be back! read more

We are Smithville residents and eat here regularly. My kids love this place. This morning my son ordered his regular burrito. This time I payed with cash and sent him in to get it. It's 9dollars for a burrito I gave him a 20. He comes back with a 5 I asked where the change was he said that's all she gave him. My husband goes back in to asked for the rest of the Change and the woman laughs and says she was JOKING with my son! They I can't imagine how many other times we've been hustled or how many other people are getting robbed. Buyer beware read more

The food was good, but the service was OK. They did serve me my food but, the waitress was not really on top of things. I had to ask another waiter for a few things more than three times. When I went into the bathroom to wash my hands they had nothing to dry my hands. It was a Sunday and it was very busy, so I would probably give them another chance. read more

Wife and I stopped here on a trip to Austin for a weekend getaway. Servers were quick and friendly. They brought the complementary chips and salsa and took drink orders pretty quickly. The salsa was thick with chunks of onion and jalapeños. We both really enjoyed it. We ordered a queso for an app and it was also good. The wife ordered the lunch chicken fajita burrito. Comes with refried beans and Mexican rice. The chicken was seasoned well and the rice and beans had flavor. Let me repeat, the rice and beans had flavor. Finally. A Mexican restaurant that seasons the rice and beans. My order was the street tacos with pico and onions. I got barbacoa, lingua, and tripa. All of it was very good. The tripa was crispy and the lingua and barbacoa were well seasoned. My order came with a whole roasted jalapeño and green onion. It's was all very good. Bill was less than $30. Would definitely stop back in if the opportunity arises. read more

Me and my boyfriend love this place. We eat here at least once a week, because the staff is so friendly and their food is amazing for the price. Every time we come in we are greeted like family and our waiter already knows we want two horchatas. Their horchata is the best in the county, I don't know what they put in it but it's like crack. This is for sure the spot to be read more

I have been going to this restaurant since 2010; We went there this evening with my service dog (which has been there many times before). They said I could not have the dog a our table. I tried to explain it was a service dog, the individual went to talk to someone. I suffer from extreme anxiety; At this point my small dog was doing what it is trained to do. They said to put it at my feet. Which I did - but I decided to leave so not to have an anxiety issue. Please avoid this restaurant if you can. Thanks read more

39$ for The H and large chips and queso....... 39 freaking dollars for two items! And the plate was only 9.99.......

Food is excellent, service prior to Covid was better and the fact I am handicapped means only takeout as cannot access the small bathroom. Also prices have gotten very much higher these days thanks to several things probably out of the restaurants control but we no longer buy food here as often as we used to and I personally miss eating their stuff. read more

First time to eat here. I was deer hunting in LaGrange and decided to drive into Smithville to take my daughter to breakfast. There were not many Yelp reviews so I wasn't sure. Place looks small and unassuming on the outside. Inside is big and warm feeling. Service was excellent. Breakfast tacos were excellent. They served a red picante sauce with my breakfast tacos but i asked if they had anything hotter and they brought me the Verde!! Great hot sauce!! Overall great little Mexican restaurant, especially for breakfast. Prices were good for what you get. :-) read more
