The kitchen staff are very efficient and spot on with their cooking. I cannot recall ever seeing a single dish go back to the kitchen because it "wasn't right". The decor of the establishment is reminiscent of San Diego Mexican restaurants which adds to the authenticity all around. The staff are incredible, always friendly, happy to see you and eager to offer suggestions and help. You'll start with the yummy chips and salsa that are free with your meal and they're delicious. They've got lots of great lunch specials and a large menu which includes a vegetarian menu. Each thing we've ordered has been wonderful, the meals do not disappoint. My personal favorites are the make your own enchiladas plate with cheese enchiladas and the California burrito with no meat which is why you see extra chicken and beef on my husband's food. My hubby most loves the combination #2 and we both love the desserts we've tried. If you still have room after your meal I'd recommend the churros that come with ice cream. If you leave hungry you did something wrong because the generous portions and delicious food will not disappoint. The staff always greet you like family and are genuinely happy to see you.
