    The food I ordered
    Drake K.

Awesome little authentic Mexican food place. I just stopped by on the way through this town I was wanting some tacos. I got 2 tacos, chicken enchilada and some rice, excellent food! the chips and salsa are made in house you can tell. Price was good as well l, I could see myself coming back if I ever came back to this town but I've never been here and don't know if I'll ever be back in this town.

Met the family for an early dinner at El Marisco Grill in Madison. I had Goat tacos (delicious) Katrina shrimp Diablo, Flora had stuff cheese pablanos, enchiladas Supreme with rice and beans, mama Hoff had chicken salad. Robert had fruta de Mar on noodles .

This place is pretty good. My favorite thing on their menu is the guacamole casero. It's chunky pieces of avocado with fresh onion, tomato, and cilantro with a little lime juice. You can tell it's made to order as it's always fresh and delicious. They have a nice selection of vegetarian options, which is really nice for me. I'd rate the food as pretty good, but not the best I've had in the area. The food is always fresh though! I feel like their margaritas (both frozen and on the rocks) are pretty weak, so that's a con. The last 3 times we've visited we've had the same waitress that is very hard to communicate with and has messed our orders up, but they've been easily corrected so no complaints there. Otherwise a pretty solid Mexican restaurant that's always clean and they are always friendly with very little wait time to be seated. Food comes out fresh and quickly. We will continue to frequent this restaurant!

LOVE THIS PLACE! the food is just so delicious. most places do not season their ground beef and these folks do. Cheese dip and house-made hot salsa is

Nonetheless, it's worth searching for. In a word, it's vibrant. It's colorful and energetic atmosphere means this is not where you are going to go for a quiet romantic evening. The walls are beautifully adorned with hand-painted murals and paintings, creating a truly unique and inviting dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food! The fresh guacamole is a must-try - chunks of guacamole, perfectly seasoned, and made fresh. We opted for the street tacos with consomé as the main. Tasty and flavorful- authentic. Though, those looking for a healthier option may not find these to their liking. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect meal. And, like restaurants in Mexico, and the rest of world, they bring the machine to process credit card payments right to your table rather than take your card to God know where to run it. Amorcito Corazon is definitely worth a try. The prices are reasonable, the food is good, and service is great. Relaxed atmosphere with colorful murals and decor. Is worth mention they have a stage for shows and performers in some nights. Highly recommended

In addition they do have a pretty stocked bar, so if one of those isn't what you want to wash down your enchiladas, then I am sure they got you. Parking for most places in this area of Gallatin Pike is pretty limited, so having a dedicated lot with a solid amount of spaces is nice here. There is a few overflow spots next door when it gets too full. Condition wise, Las Maracas has seen better days. Many of the booths are ripped, several ceiling tiles are damaged and stained, flooring is caked with worn in dirt and a bit of tables are wobbly. Food wise we have sampled a variety of things from the combinations, chilaquiles, burritos, quesadillas and of course the cheese dip. Food is standard, which is not a bad thing. It is exactly what we are after and what we expect each time we come here. Service is always hit and miss here, more so miss. We have been here three times now and not one time could be described as having "good" service. Overall, Las Maracas is a decent spot. Not the worst, and far from the best.

The quesadilla was delicious, well cooked and packed with the goods! Of course before the main, I started with a small queso. The queso was bland and a bit thick for my liking. The complimentary salsa was also nothing special. They both got the job done, but were just okay. The space is small, one large dining room featuring a variety of table setups along with a small bar in the back corner. No frills space, which is duplicated in their food. Service was friendly and timely. Place was clean and well kept. Overall, Pueblo Viejo is a solid 3.5 for me. Happy to go back and enjoy a meal, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I ordered the vegan burrito thinking I was about to receive the warm, tightly wrapped cylinder of comfort that has powered civilizations for centuries. Beans. Rice. Maybe some grilled veggies doing their thing. The classics. What arrived instead was... a philosophical question. Inside the tortilla was a sparse scattering of ingredients that looked less like a burrito filling and more like the evidence table after a burrito had already been eaten by someone else. A few beans wandering around with no clear sense of purpose. Rice that appeared to have been introduced to the concept of seasoning only briefly, perhaps in passing. Everything loosely contained in a tortilla that had clearly given up on life somewhere around the folding stage. I actually paused for a moment just staring at it, the way you might look at modern art and wonder if you're missing something important. But the real genius of this dish is the confidence. Because someone in that kitchen assembled this, looked down at their work, closed the box, and essentially said, "Yes. This is a burrito." And honestly? I respect it. As someone who never misses an opportunity to troll when the moment presents itself, I can only admire the audacity. Putting this in a box and sending it out into the world with a straight face deserves recognition. Was it a good burrito? Absolutely not. But was it memorable? Without question. In fact, it may be the most conceptual burrito I've ever had. 5 sexy stars.

Appreciate the detail on that. For the authentic street tacos, this hits hard with flavor, seasoning, and grease The lenqua and crispy tripa are the kinds I find in Houston from taco trucks that bring me to my knees. My bro-in-law found the carnitas to be his favorite with the tender pork and juice; claimed these were some of the best tacos he's had. Squeeze the lime and drizzle some green salsa on those things to treat your taste buds. We also snuck in a taste of the quesadilla before feeding it to my niece. Both of us appreciated the texture of the tortilla and meltiness of the cheese with the chicken. The quesadilla is quite large; we couldn't believe it was the size for kids. Fortunately it was a leftover for my sister which she devoured later on; even after heating it up it was still tasty. The menu is typical mexican with sopes, tortas, milanesa, burritos, gorditas, and mulitas in addition to tacos and quesadillas. There's roughly 10 different types of proteins to choose from. If you can't decide, the lengua, carnitas, and asada are always pleasers. It takes about 6-8 minutes for your order but it's worth the wait. No doubt we'll be returning here again!
