Walking into the brew hall, we were immersed in medieval scenery with knight armor and weaponry positioned throughout brew hall. There was a really cool library with a wide assortment of books and some board games people could interact with. The vibes inside were very chill which was a huge plus. In terms of drinks, we were overwhelmed with how many options we could choose from and with how unique all of the flavors were. I decided to go with an 8 flight of beers as I couldn't narrow down a particular drink that caught my attention and thank goodness I went with that route. Out of the 8 beers I selected, I only truly liked 3 of the drinks. Some of the flavors I felt from the drinks that I didn't like reminded me of dish soap, sardines, and burnt wood (just to name a few). In terms of food, they had a food truck on site which had pretty good food and the overall staff were very nice. It's one of those places where I'm happy I came to experience the place, but isn't a top priority for me to make another visit.

It even came with a side salad and salsa to dip it in! For $15-16 it was a large portion and easily was 2 meals. I ordered online for pickup and it was ready quickly at the counter but the restaurant also looked cute inside so I would be interested in stopping in for a meal sometime too! Our server, the bartender was polite and attentive. Coke products are in place with no Mr. Pibb or Dr. Pepper. Downside: the menu is very limited and a good bit more expensive than other posts. My flatbread pizza was just OK but definitely overcooked. My buddy's Walleye Bites were fine but there was nothing special about the tartar sauce nor the thick breading. The credit card "convenience charge" doesn't help...I used a debit card and still get confused when it appears on the bill. Who is the card convenient to...definitely not the guest. This place, while still new, is at the bottom of the Legion Post restaurants. There's lots of work to be done...starting with the menu.
