We enjoyed those surprises being a first visit. Food was amazing and would highly recommend! Our server was friendly and ensured we enjoyed our dinner. Highly recommend!

But you can park across the mall street and walk over, just be careful when crossing traffic. Inside the place is beautifully decorated with culture and colors. Enjoyed that about the place. We checked in and promptly got seated, our initial seating was next to a window, but also next to the waiter order entry computer. Between that and my friend sitting in a wicker chair that has seen better days because she was falling into it, we requested to be moved. Our next seating was better with standard seats, but definitely crowded all around between the tables and waiters squeezing thru, made you feel packed like sardines. I get they want more patrons, but it feels a bit suffocating having everyone so bunched up like that. So much so, that when the tables behind me requested their meal that comes with a fire presentation, I felt that on the back of my neck, I wondered, Am I having hot flashes? No, just the fire blazing closely behind me. Additionally, the noise level is loud where I could barely hear my friend across the table or the waiter talking to me, I had to ask to repeat what he said many times. Our waiter, Christian, was very friendly and attentive. Since it was our first time dining there, we had questions on some items since this wasn't TexMex nor Mexican food that I had tried. So much so that if you like grasshoppers, you can have them added to your guacamole or some other offerings. I wasn't feeling rebellious enough to have tried that, so we passed. As an FYI, chips and salsa are not complimentary, you have to order them as the Salsas & Tostadas, you're provided with 3 different salsas, each with its own spice level. The main thing for me is that our main meal lacked flavor/seasoning. I got the Enmoladas (Mole de Rancho) which were smoked chicken enchiladas. Served with a side of Swiss chard. They tasted fresh, but when it came to a punch of flavor, we got none. The chard was not specifically something I enjoyed nor finished eating. We requested salt, which we didn't want to do, but adding the salt to the Enmoladas helped bring some flavor. Saw they have a brunch offering and would like to return for that and try some of their other drinks.

I visited here after hearing they are supposed to be pretty good. I sat in the bar area since I…read morewas dining alone. This is an older building, but I'm not sure how long they have been here. In summary, I was not really impressed with my meal, but this is a super casual place and the prices are right. I started off with their house small frozen margarita. If you just need a basic one, this will do. It's nothing fancy. For comparison, their fresh margaritas start at $12 currently. Their salsa is served at room temp and you receive both a green and a red one. The red one was my fav. It was also the spicier of the two. I ordered their beef fajitas for one which is only $20. Let's see how it compared to my favorite in town which is much more expensive. Beef fajitas- these are your basic beef fajitas with store-bought tortillas. The sizzling skillet comes with 2 types of grilled onions, tomato, and grilled bell pepper slices. The beef is tender, I'll give them that, but the quality is low. You receive a lot of Pico de Gallo, not much guacamole, and an avg amount of rice and beans. The grilled onions were not grilled very long at all. I noticed a couple of the slices of beef were not cut against the grain, so they were a bit more chewy. Overall, service was average. They never asked me if I wanted a 2nd margarita until after I sat around for 10 mins and then even asked for the check. By then, its way too late to ask a customer if they want a 2nd drink, I guess that's how low key they are. At the end of the meal my glass of water was nearly empty too, but no server was to be found at the bar. In fact, they didn't really even man the bar most of the time with the 4 customers sitting there, including me.

My family and I enjoyed our visit here today. We were lucky it wasn't busy day today…read more The place is pretty nice and the staff were very attentive. The food choices were amazing and the price is good. Ambiance is great! We ordered two plates of chimichanga and they were delicious. I had the chonguito in beef fajita and it was good. The guacamole was tasty, sadly they gave you little rice to enjoy your plate. I recommend this place if you are looking for a good Mexican food.

I visited here during happy hour one day. I'd previously visited one of their other locations…read moreseveral years ago since I heard they had really great cheese enchiladas. On this visit I just wanted a drink and a small bite though. Upon walking in, the restaurant was nearly full and bustling. I spotted some seats over at the bar area in the back right so I sat there. There are happy hour specials ending at 6pm weekdays but the bartender told me about the daily specials and how the Natalitas margarita was stronger than the happy hour one for about the same price, so I chose that one. I ordered the large for $10.25 which comes in an 18 oz large glass. After looking at the menu, I settled on one of my typical orders at happy hour, the small (8 in) beef fajita quesadilla. This comes out after about 10 mins and it has the typical sour cream and guacamole on the sides. There is plenty there to be placed on all 8 of the quesadillas. This is a pretty standard tasting quesadilla, nothing really stood out about it. Same goes for the margarita. Keep in mind this is a discounted drink and made with pre-mixed sweet and sour from a large plastic bucket at the back of the bar area using a house tequila and a house orange liquor. I couldn't read the labels on either bottle since they turned them backward during my entire visit. Not sure if they do this on purpose or not. Either way, there are better quality margarita options obviously, using fresh juice they store in their refrigerator and a margarita that is actually shaken. The discounted ones are so discounted, they actually just pour the ingredients into an ice filled glass and ask you to stir it yourself when they place it in front of you. Either way, it is a convenient location and the prices of their entrees are reasonable compared to some other Mexican restaurants around town. I don't think I saw any dish above 18.99. Mondays look to be a good day to come for their Patron margarita special for around $10.99.
