I originally ordered this off uber eats. The grapes have mold in them, the watermelon is welted and Gond bad, the strawberries are also welted and not sweet. The melon is hard as a rock. So this place is ok, located in a not so nice area and they have a huge selection of munchies that it makes it overwhelming when you want to order. They have pictures on the menu that help when making your decision. I ordered the explosion "mangoneada" apparently I mispronounced this and I was corrected. I normally don't mind but I'm fluent in Spanish and I think the lady was just being rude. The mangoneada was nothing special, it was ok not worth $6, the tamarindo stick that comes with it was gross and tasted expired. We also ordered a bionico and my husband said the papaya in it tasted like it was expired.. not good. Kids got a raspado (trioles) and they seem to enjoy that. love/hate relationship with this place. Their food is bomb, trolles are on point and the special green smoothie is outta this world delicious. My problem is the employees. They are RUDE, SLOW, and DO NOT CARE about your experience there. After a while, I figured out their special green drink recipe and now I save myself $10 and a headache. Other interesting choices: - Variety of Fruit salads, some with special cream sauce, and some with chili sauce - Healthy Juices, with celery, parsley, beets, carrots, and of course, fruits - Doritos with Mexican corn and cheese sauce - Tostados del Moco (#42): Cueritos, cabbage, avocado, tomato and Cleme's special sauce (oh yeah, "cueritos" are pork rinds) - Pork meat with Jalisco style sauce - Gaby's special sauce - House's special sauce (I guess you get the idea ... lot's of special sauces) The place was clean, not too old, like you might expect of a chain. Basic English is understood. My meal: #43 Tostados de la Chacha (ham, cabbage, avocado, tomato, and house's special sauce. It was good, but the special sauce is the special thing about it. #44 Tostados de Tinga a la Gaby's (chicken (looks and tastes a bit like pulled pork BBQ) with avocado, lettuce, chopped tomato, thin layer of beans on tostada shell and Gaby's special sauce. The food and drink are average. Prices are cheap, except for the healthy juices, which start at $4.50 for 20 oz size. The thing that makes this place rise above average are the sauces. El Kiosko has been here for a good bit. They have all the little snacks you can think of - aguas, nachos, ice cream, elote, and plenty of fresh fruit with all kinds of topping combos. It's a smaller space, but they have a few tables to sit & enjoy your treats. It can get pretty packed because people need that cool down action El Kiosko serves up! Service is alright, but my recent visit not so much. I'd taken my nieces & nephews (teens) to try something new. Since there was a bit of line, we were ready by the time we got to the front. The kiddos were trying to pronounce the items, but also saying the item number & pointing to the jumbo menu board. Unfortunately, the lady taking our order wasn't being so friendly. She blankly stared like she was lost & didn't seem to really want to help or be there at all. 2 of them were ordering the mango explosion thing everyone likes which I thought at least that she'd get right away. Nope. After I said a few numbers in Spanish, she kind of responded to them. IDK if she was having a bad day or what, but there's no reason to be rude. Luckily the lady who ordered just before us helped the kids out giving the order in Spanish. We had everything from the fruit bowls, mangonada explosion, ice cream & I had a watermelon agua fresca. Mine was really good & my crew enjoyed there's as well. Had a few bites of pineapple from my nephews bowl & it was ok. I will say prices here are a bit higher than other places. For that nice cool refreshment, this is the place to come! Either for a frozen tasty treat to a small "real" Mexican snack. My personal fave item on their menu is their mangonada which is mango ice cream with Chamoy, as bad as some of the items can be with a high amount of calories, at El Kisko, you can also enjoy a nice healthy fruit salad, green shake, or a fruit n' yogurt bowl. Let me warn you , it does get quite packed and maybe not all customers are as friendly as we all hope but after your number is called and get your goodies, you will look past that and ask for some more. First half of Torta de Gabby (I think that is the name) was ok. I couldn't give you a full review because soon after I felt something hard in my mouth, now lets get our heads out of the gutter :) it was a huge piece of plastic. My friend described it as one of the divider tabs that you use for filing, yep it was that big but thicker. I kind of think it think it looked like a spoon from mcdonalds that they give you with a Mcflurry. While I may not go back to this place I do have to say it was clean looking on the inside and cute. They did offer a new torta but after that I am like yeaaaaaah I'm good. Anyway it's fresh and absolutely yummy. They have a variety of flavors and a variety of items. They have fresh fruit, concession stand type foods. The location is inconvenient. It's an entrance/exit of a very busy shopping center. Lots of people coming and going, riding bikes, and walking so parking and maneuvering can be stressful. Once inside more than likely you will wait but not terribly long. I mean it is a popular place! Not the best seating inside so I always take it to go. The staff is friendly and attentive. Hispanic staff and most speak minimal English but this never has interfered with service. My favorite flavor is Mangonada! If you are on the North side give it a try! read more

I go to El Kiosko when I'm at work on the ambulance. The Troles (fruit ice) is delicious and super affordable. I can get 8 oz. for about 2 dollars. My shift partner always gets the corn.
