For 20 years I was married to the best 'Mexican' chef I've ever known. She passed away 10 weeks ago. She wasn't very happy with their food, but did enjoy the Chile Verde. A week or more ago, I placed an order from them to pick up. Not only was the order wrong when I got home, they short changed me by a dollar, but nobody spoke enough English To understand my protest. So I went home, and just chalked it up to an error and tried to forget about it. And, until tonight, I would have. Tonight, I ordered the build your own combo of 2 Chiles Relleño w/rice & beans, and 3 Al Pastor street tacos for a friend who is hanging out to binge a show tonight. I get there, to pick up and they said they don't have any Al Pastor, so I asked for carne asada. Not only did they then get that wrong, they charged my card extra, without informing me that there was an extra charge for using the card. I will not be coming back, any time soon.

"Man, that looks good!" She replied with, "it is, and highly recommended!". I had already locked in on a Club sandwich. That was my order with rings. I asked if they were made in the diner. The very nice lady serving us replied with "no" but they are beer battered and are very good. Ok, I'll give 'em a try. My wife went with the Southwest salad, with chicken. A special for today. In a few minutes, out came two loaded plates. A giant platter of salad loaded with chicken and my perfect club sandwich with rings. Check the pictures. The salad was fresh and piled high with chicken, The club sandwich was thick and packed with meats, very good. I had my heart set on house made onion rings. The factory-made rings were good, but no substitution for freshly made. Choose the fried okra. Oh, and you may wonder how I know about how good the fried catfish is, even though I didn't even order it. When my wife got up to use the restroom, the lady in the booth behind us broke off a big chunk of her catfish and turned around. "Here try this." I wasn't going to turn down that polite offer.
