I will definitely recommend this wonderful food establishment. They have a small menu but this means they do those items right. A plus is on Saturdays and Sundays they also have menudo. Clean, flavorful, and authentic. This is a must try, no fear. Two thumbs up and I will try every time I'm in the area.

The atmosphere as soon as you enter is small, quaint - cafe type. The menu is clearly lunch focused with lots of healthy options. I think they also do lots of catering. We ordered quickly, service was friendly and the food was very tasty. Before we left the place had filled up. The best part, apart from it being a local spot, was the tortilla soup. I wanted a Sprite or lemonade to calm my stomach down. The other food trucks weren't open yet except for Megalicious Meals. They had Sprite so this is where I ended up getting lunch. I ordered a plain turkey wrap. It usually comes with avocado, tomato, lettuce, cheese and mayo. I got it with the veggies but ended up taking them out. Despite it being so plain, the turkey and spinach tortilla tasted good. I was a little bit hungry so it hit the spot. I got a combo so it came with potato chips, the soda and a pickle. I wasn't that crazy about the chips or pickle. The chips needed a little bit more salt. The pickle was really sweet. I've never liked sweet pickles. I also ordered some of their mini pies. I had the chocolate cream pie. It was really good! The ingredients tasted fresh and delish! I ordered a couple of others pies but I only had the chocolate one. I'm sure they're just as delicious! The prices are a little bit steep but I realize everything costs a lot these days, food included. I would come back to Megalicious Meals. I'm glad I had the opportunity to stop by recently. I got home and opened it up, the meat was mushy with a dog food texture (over cooked), I'm not sure if the cook is using cheek meat or something else, it was more like potted meat. Their Barbie smoothie is a favorite--refreshing, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. The food is just as impressive. A splash of Texas and a sprinkle of Mexican bring this BBQ to over the top flavor town. Yup, I said. I envoked the Guy Fiere-ism. The BBQ is only available Fri-Sun, and it's located inside Fanatics on Montwood and Lee Trevino. The bar is a little divey, but it's clean and spacious. The times we've gone it's never super full, and the micheladas are cold. The bloody Mary's are on point if you like some spicy kick. Papamigos has an extra special Sun brunch yumminess as well. Check out their IG for pics. I haven't tried it, but we've tried their whole regular menu and nom nom nom. Here are some of our favs: The brisket is the most tender I've had. They have an AMAZING brisket taco with freshly homemade tortillas topped with an egg. Sigh! Foodiegasm! The pulled pork is tender and flavorful. It's little pork pillows of bursting flavor. The pork ribs are fall of the bone tender. My husband, an avid griller and smoker, took several mins to say something. That silence spoke volumes! The macaroni and coleslaw salads. These are not your traditional sides. They're light and compliment the BBQ perfectly. The coleslaw is a vinger slaw that is flavorful but light and balances the fattiness of the meats perfectly. The macaroni is this awesome combo of macaroni and elote. It's light and citrusy and comes topped with tajin. Just taste it. None of that heavy mayo mess here. (Trigger warning for mayo lovers.) The salsas are all homemade and have flavor but don't overpower all the smokey flavor they put into the meat. Below are pics of what we had today. The sausage bites and a two meat combo. This was more than enough for two people. Extra special: The place is run by brothers. They are orignially from the Valley but moved to EP. One of them always come out to check on you and ask about the flavor. Some might not like the chit-chat, but we do. It's quite clear they care about the food their making, and the food tastes like the love they put into it.

The only problem is that it is located pretty far from anywhere I would normally find myself, but I finally gave in, took the long drive to Socorro to check it out, thankfully it didn't disappoint. First of all, the atmosphere at Pollo Culiacan is super authentic, like I feel like I'm eating at a pollo asado restaurant in Mexico authentic, and while that kind of atmosphere isn't rare in El Paso, I really enjoy it. Of course the main reason to take the long trip is the pollo, and it's pretty delicious. I really liked how the chicken is seasoned, hard to describe, but definitely a unique taste, and the zarandeado sauce adds another yummy twist. The chicken is cooked perfectly, I didn't run into a single dry or undercooked piece. They also serve you some delicious grilled onions that are perfect for making tacos. I really enjoyed Pollo Culiacan, it's a ways out for me, but worth the occasional trip!

For 8$, you get 4 of them on corn tortillas with a bunch of grill veggies on the side. Not a bad deal! and the flavor of the beef is just right for the korean bbq flavor. I can't seem to get myself to eat anything else from the Boardwalk lol. Sometimes they make extra specials for the night and this particular night had fried spring rolls which were delish! only 4$ for 2 of them which were a decent size. This night, this were also selling agua frescas and for only $4, I got this HUGE 16oz of mango juice and if you wanted a re-fill, it would have only been another $2! I can't wait for the next time we hit up the Boardwalk and I wanna give their Korean beef and rice option a try!
