A great little store. The owner, Nick is one of the nicest and knowledgeable people I've ever met. It is a great experience to shop here :)

I had the Mediterranean Flatbread without the chicken, but took the chicken home as leftovers for the family. It was piled with artichokes, great quality kalamata olives, etc. The chesses with the pesto sauce and drizzle were a delicious combination! My son enjoyed the leftover chicken. Hubby had the Granny's Pot Roast. He was impressed with how lean the meat was and that he could cut it with his fork. The loaded mashed potatoes looked phenomenal. In addition to the food being delicious, the staff was wonderful. We had three different waitstaff checking on us throughout our meal. We watched them open doors for people coming in and leaving the restaurant. The restaurant also has a popular meal planning service. They rotate their menu monthly. This will definitely be one of our new go to spots!

The food was prepared quickly, came out hot and fresh, and was full of flavor. The only thing keeping this from a review is that I found the menu somewhat limited (one steak option, no burger, one seafood entree option). Certainly this is due to a rotating menu so what makes them special to others was a bit limiting for me. I'll definitely be back to check out future menu options!

I knew the food was going to be good because they were jam packed on a Tuesday! They have a large variety of specialty cocktails and a full bar. I enjoyed a specialty drink and then switched to prosecco. My server, Sarah, was outstanding and provided top notch service. They start you off with a yummy sweet cornbread service. I ate too much of the bread! For my meal, I started with the steak tartare and it was excellent, high quality beef. I then moved onto the chargrilled oysters which were a 1000/10! Amazing flavor... the blend of the butter and 3 cheeses was perfect! I then had the best pork chop I've ever eaten in my life. They brine it for 24 hours in a sweet tea mixture... I was thinking that would taste weird or sweet but it was neither. The chop was simply the most divine, juicy and flavorful pork chop I have ever consumed. Words can't express the deliciousness! It was 10000000/10. The chop was paired with the best grits I've ever had. I take grits seriously as a southern woman and those were magnificent. Restaurant was very clean. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The manager worked the room all night attending to guests and making sure everyone was happy. I highly recommend and will absolutely be back!!

The beet salad was refreshing. The lettuce was a little wilted but not terrible. The rock shrimp pasta was flavorful and the seafood was very tender. Came with a big portion of pasta that I requested on the side. My maple duck breast was amazing. Big piece with crispy skin and juicy meat. The seasoning was right. The mashed potatoes were smooth and fluffy. It also came with a small order of bread and the cornbread pieces were great. I'm sure the dine in experience would've made everything even better.

After a long day of preparation for Easter for 3 daughters we needed a moment for us, before the next days celebration. We had the back room to ourselves and it was just perfect. I just had to say, my husband loves to cook for me, especially short ribs and a beautiful brown sauce and he is amazing at it. Well, this blew him and I both away. Also, the skewers were something out of this world. There is an article about them in Vero Mag. This place is a secret we want to keep to ourselves but a place with this much talent is meant to be celebrated. Ohhh and the Short Rib Rangoons! Thank you curfew for giving to very busy parents a couple hours to just connect and enjoy a wonderful place. We cannot wait to come back again. We had Short Rib Rangoon, Bubbly Crab & Artichoke Dip, steak skewer, Deviled Eggs, & a main Short Rib, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, Curfew Gravy.

We left because the bartender, Dillon I believe, was uninterested, a bit rude and completely lackadaisical in my informed opinion. In this case we had one and moved on across the street! You can trust me, I was in the business! ;D

*INITIAL REVIEW*…read more Today, my family and I celebrated Mother's Day given the fact one of my sisters and I would be too busy to celebrate it on the actual day. Ergo, we made a trip down to Vero Beach and had fun at both McKee Botanical Gardens and the Vero Beach Museum of Art (VBMA), both which got stellar reviews by me in the past. In between both locales, we were hungry and needed to eat someplace local. I had some suggestions, but my mom was in the mood for seafood. As a suggestion from reviews, The Crab Stop of Vero Beach was ultimately decided upon. I have to say, I am happy this restaurant was suggested because it is very good. Even though an address is provided, The Crab Spot of Vero Beach (which I will shorthand simply to Crab Spot for the remainder of this review) is located on the southside of the entryway into Royal Palm Place, one of the many extensions leading out into the water near US-1, but this one is known for the Royal Palm Park at the end. Initial display, decor, and ambiance has the stereotypical local dive bar look with elements showcasing they specialize in seafood, and the little bits of rustic flaws adds a bit of character for what they are. I would not expect such a look for a high-end restaurant, but this works for a local place on the river. The chairs squeeked, the table wobbled a bit in which the waitress fixed with some coasters, and the plates were chipped. No problem at all. There was even outdoor seating in the back bar-style which gives you a nice view of the canal that leads to the river. It was high sun, so we opted for the air conditioning. Now we move on to the food. I have to say that the majority of our food was really good, and when you adjusted to what you are eating, it was top-notch. Key word, however, is the "majority." The good: the hush puppies basket as you get 10 hush puppies that are lightly-seasoned with 1000 island sauce. If you eat one, it is probable you might think it is light on seasoning. However, they are small and finishing all 10 won't be a problem. The flavor builds with each hush puppy, which was smartly done compared to what most seafood places do: give you like two to five hush puppies of large size and high flavoring. The wings, however, used a hot sauce that was mostly vinegar. This ruined the wings for me, and if my stepdad ordered 20, he'd be eating the majority of them. Everything else was top-notch and delicious. Altogether, my family ordered the Fish and Chips, Mahi Sandwich, Fried Catfish Sandwich, Sea Scallop Snack Pack, and the Crab Cake Dinner. Details for each dish in the pictures. On a sidenote, the restroom was okay as in clean and stocked, but not the best-looking restroom I seen. Maybe the "character" could have not be extended to the restroom. Ultimately, I am giving Crab Stop four out of five stars. I do enjoy a good "mom n' pop" place as I prefer to support local and small, but since this is the only time I went, I can't justify a five-star rating until they prove to be consistent. I will be back as there is another park just south of this business that has geocaches that need to be found AND I may also try to hide a traditional letterbox here. But take note for a local seafood stop, this place is good to go.

I ordered Mahi with potatoes and creamy spinach. Everything was delicious except my partner's rice tasted terrible. It appeared that it was cooked with water that had a funky taste to it. They should taste the food that's coming out to the customers. The menu is very pricy. Expect to pay $250 for two people. They also have a cute gift shop... very pricy as well. A T-shirt costs $28. It's such a beautiful spot, especially during the holidays when they really go all out with the decorations. The ambiance is hard to beat, and the view alone makes it worth the visit. The food is consistently delicious and well-prepared, although it is definitely on the pricier side. It feels more like a place for a special night out than an everyday dinner. On our most recent visit, the only downside (besides the prices) was that there was a very long wait time to get our food. Still, the setting and overall experience was positive so I wouldn't be against another visit.
