Outstanding place for tacos in Amarillo! You can't beat the price for an outstanding authentic street taco. The owner and staff are the best! And for big events, the taco platters can't be beat! Food was ok. I got a taco plate (asada) and a sope while my husband got the Chile verde plate and the ceviche. It was all hot and relatively fresh, but the asada was stringy and fatty and my husband was surprised his Chile verde was shredded as opposed to being cooked in chunks. I have seen the restaurants several times but just never went in, and finally my boyfriend recommended that we go for lunch this weekend and I'm so glad that he did. These were some of the best tacos that I have ever had, you must try the barbacoa and the chicken. This was probably the better of the menudo has great taste but I didn't realize when I ordered it , it was going to be mostly juice I am a fan of menudo I just would like more of the meat.. I visited for the first time the other day and I don't recommend the enchiladas. They just have tomato sauce with powdered parmesan on top, like disappointing spaghetti. The tacos do look promising, though, so I may be back to try those. They seem to be more popular anyway. We ordered chicken tostadas, quesadillas, flautas, and the torta malinesa along with a large horchata. The food in general was good. The thin grilled meat in the torta was very tasty, and the quesadillas were good. The horchata was refreshing, but may be considered strong if you are not used to nutmeg/vanilla/cinnamon. The menudo from here is amazing and the tacos are too. We got 60 tacos for a party and thbey were made fresh and warm on time.

Real, home style Mexican. Tacos are great, and the salsas are delicious. Recommend the carnitas or the lengua. Portions are small if you're used to American "tacos," but normal for a little Mexican joint like this. Get the aqua de melón to drink, and don't pass up those spicy pickled carrots. read more

Have been here three times in the last couple months, and the food does not disappoint. Just wish you got a little more bang for your buck. It's a $15 min lunch if you want a full stomach.
