I recently went through the drive-through at this location because a friend recommended the chicken tacos. I had tried this place in the past and it missed the mark so I was a little hesitant. I had the grande chicken taco, which I expected a taco with all the works, but this is just two tortillas, grilled chicken, cilantro, and onions. They give you one green and one red sauce. Overall, the chicken and the taco was incredible! However, they are marinating and cooking this chicken, makes this taco everything. Are very generous with the chicken, but they were also very generous with the onion and cilantro, a little too much. I would definitely order this again, but ask for the cilantro and onion on the side. The price was right, I think I paid under five dollars but I did expect a fully loaded taco with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, etc. I also think they could revamp their salsa, they lack flavor and thankfully, I took my taco home and was able to use homemade salsa. read more

I originally was looking for bbq brisket in bellflower, but parking was bad so I stumbled upon El Gallo Giro in bellflower! I ordered a chicken torta with avocado, green chili, green sauce, cheese and tomatoes, and lettuce. It was one of the best tasting tortas I've had in a long time! Extremely upset at the cashier who is there today and most of the days. I came yo pick my order from Uber Eats that I had placed. The app said order is ready, when I get there I tell him I'm here for an order under Sergio, he said "they just placed the order for Jose right now, it's gonna take ten mins. I sent my daughter to purchase some tortas but my daughter does not speak Spanish, when she tried to order they refused to take her order because she didn't speak Spanish and the order taker didn't understand English. I haven't EL GALLO GIRO in nearly 20+ years.... We were out in about late night today and decided to have a late night fast boy snack lol Torta de milanesa 4 tacos (2) de asada (2) de pastor 3 tamales (2) pollo (1) puerco The torta, hands down was just as I remembered from way back then. I will most diff be back to have another The tacos weren't at all appetizing. Both asada and pastor were dry with no flavor. It was bad enough they used a small tortilla. Then the tamales will, they weren't even cooked. Meaning the dough was raw . It wasn't worth the $9.99 for the 3 we ordered. All in all I'll only be back for a torta but not anytime soon. Customer service was ok to a while to get someone to answer the drive through.. but she did say have a blessed night... so it was a good drive through experience read more

Communication and organization need serious improvement.
