I had the churrasco with rice, beans and salad with a diet coke. The dish was very good. My friend had the birria tacos and a guava margarita. The second time was when we asked from more drinks. By the second time there were hardly any other patrons. As well waited for quite some time she never came back to our table. I locked eyes with the bartender who asked if we wanted our check. I told her that we were still waiting for our drinks. By then we decided not to order anything else. After the bartender spoke with the waitress, we finally got our drinks.

When I came in, I was exhausted and overheated from walking in the summer heat. I ordered two pupusas to go because I originally planned to eat lunch at work. After paying, I sat down while waiting for my order because the restaurant was completely empty, cool, and had a nice, relaxing atmosphere. As I cooled down and caught my breath, I decided I'd just eat there instead since I had only ordered two pupusas. When my food was ready, I was told I had to leave because I had ordered it to go. Apparently, if you order takeout, you're not allowed to dine in. I honestly thought it was a joke, so I asked, "Wait, really? That's a thing?" The employee looked at me completely seriously and, without any kindness or understanding, simply said, "Yes. Sorry, you cannot stay." I'm not someone who likes to make a scene, so I just took my food and left. It was disappointing because the restaurant was empty, and I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--I had simply changed my mind while waiting. That interaction left a bad impression. The food is okay, but I've definitely had better pupusas elsewhere. Between the mediocre food and the unfriendly customer service, I don't plan on coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to others.

I went with the Burrito de Birria ($13), and it was huge, flavorful, topped with avocado and it was incredibly filling. There were also a few small tables where people were dining inside, plus a great selection of beverages, some alcoholic, some non-alcoholic, and several drinks that you typically only find in Mexican delis and markets. Would recommend if you are looking for authentic, delicious, and affordable Mexican food.

Not just "eh, my stomach's off", I'm talking full bathroom takeover. Yesterday I got nachos, but they forgot the chicken. Honestly, that may have saved me. My man had three tacos: pollo, carne asada, and chorizo. We split one shrimp taco. I'm totally fine today. He's not. It hit him hard this morning, and he's been sweating and stuck in the bathroom all day. We gave it another shot because it was really busy and we figured the food would be fresh. But this isn't the first time we've gotten sick after eating here, and at this point, something's definitely not right with how the meat is being handled. We're genuinely bummed about it. The flavors are fire. But getting sick every time just isn't worth it.

They were playing the World Cups on the TVs inside, but thankfully had the audio on the outdoor speakers, and we could watch through the glass windows. Service took a bit to come out and give us waters, menus and drinks. My friend ordered a Strawberry Lemonade which she found too artificial tasting, but the Modelos my boyfriend ordered hit the spot. You get a small basket of chips and what tasted like jarred Tostitos salsa to start. While I wasn't a fan of this at all, the Super Nacho Macho was fantastic! A healthy mix of all toppings, plus we added delicious carne asada meat on top. Sharing would have been perfect with this, but we weren't given small plates so my friends kept dropping food on the table, and sometimes on their pants since the outside tables were slats of wood. I still think this was a great starter. For our mains, I ordered a chorizo taco, my partner had his very first torta (Chicken à la Milanesa), and my friends ordered an Al Pastor enchilada, a chicken tostada, and a fish taco. We also ordered a plate of plain fries that were soo good. The kind that are somewhat thin and all crispy and perfectly salted mmmm. My taco was proper and perfect. They didn't skimp on any ingredients. We were also really impressed with the torta, especially how tasty and fresh the bread tasted. While the service wasn't the best, it seemed like there was only one guy running front of house, and the food made up for it. The ambiance itself was really cute too! I could see myself coming here to smash some drinks and tacos and watch another game for sure.

The cactus was crazy delicious with gobs of pull apart cheese, crispy browned edges, thick corn tortilla flavor, and spicy mango salsa, and pickled onion. When you come to nenes, you forget the line and wait. You transfigure into sheep and are happily a part of the herd.
