Stopped here based on the stellar yelp ratings and it did NOT disappoint! Please don't forget the horchata I had 3 street tacos carne asada, chili verde, and pork carnitas. They were all delicious but my favorite was the chili verde. The hubs got a smothered pork carnitas burrito and he LOVED it. Food was incredibly fresh and well spiced. The food is good but I don't like the very loud music, you can barely hear your conversation because of that.

First off, this place is awesome. It's local and authentic. The best street tacos around. The staff are super helpful when I walk in and say "I've never been here, how does it work and what is good". I got the asada, pastor, and chili verde tacos with a side of retried beans. They load these tprtiaas with meat and the salsa bar has all the goods. The red sauce is the most spicy but not outrageous, has good flavor. The green creamy sauce is the avocado sauce and it is really good so is the tomatillo. All really good. I love that they have a decent salsa bar. Only one "salsa" and it is a pico style. My favorite was the pastor taco. I will most definitely be back to this place. read more

First time coming to El Dorado and sooooo glad I did! Irma's cooking is top notch and Jose was very friendly. I got their asada street taco and their pastor street taco and they were crazy delicious (thank you Irma!). These street tacos are good for gringos who have never had real authentic Mexican food and also good for people who come looking for the authentic stuff. Our food was excellent. This is 100% a taco truck brought indoors. They had excellent tacos. Carne Assad and Chile Verde were my favorites. I also thoroughly enjoyed a side of beans and rice. El Dorado is the home of delicious food and wonderful customer service. My favorite is the carne asada plate. We have made a point of ordering take out from these folks during the pandemic because we want to help out in keeping them open for business. We know that a lot of small businesses have closed due to COVID-19. This is one great place to eat, and we want to see it thrive. They have great daily specials and a nice variety of meal choices. This place is amazing. We stopped at this place since we saw some excellent reviews. From the moment I saw the menu, I knew that this place might have some pretty authentic food (menudo, cabeza, lengua, and buche on the same menu is always a good sign). We ordered 12 tacos and an horchata for ~$18. We promptly received our order and began chowing down. We were blown away by all of the food (though the carne asada and al pastor were standouts). I grew up in Mexico. I had tacos at home growing up. I've had highly regarded tacos in California, the East Coast, and plenty of spaces in between... What can I say, I really like tacos.... El Dorado's tacos were just as good as any of the tacos I've ever had (and better than almost any I have had in the US). What was especially remarkable was that these tacos were less than $2! Another reviewer mentioned that this place was PHENOMENAL. I completely agree. The service is friendly, the prices are affordable, and the food is exceptional. I hate to be the first non 5 star review for this location, but it really did not live up to its rating. We went here a couple of weeks ago for the first time and ordered several types of street tacos as well as a couple of burritos. The cabeza tacos were very bland and the asada tacos were pretty dry. The burritos were okay, but again were not super flavorful. The salsas were pretty good though. All in all, I didn't feel like we received a flavorful meal which is what I've come to expect from authentic Mexican cuisine. I will honestly probably try this place again, I love Mexican food and I am hoping this was just a one off. According to the other reviews that's probably the case! read more
