First and foremost...let there be no mistake that their burritos and ingredient choices are good. With that said, do NOT go to get a burrito or anything else at lunch time. Part of the allure of this place is the speed in which you can get a meal. The lunch hour ruins that. Today's experience was not a good one, and it hasn't been my first. I know exactly what I want when I order. If its just me in line, I can get served within probably 2 mins, which is wicked fast. However today I was 5th in line, and waited around 22 mins to checkout. I do not fully blame the workers, but improvements can be made. The lady 2 people in front of me was very aloof. She would ask for one thing, then go back and make a change, and did this a few times. That's annoying and it affected the mood of the workers. Once that was over, sure enough, the lady directly in front of me was on a lunch run for her office. She handed the first worker 2 notes with orders, then had someone on her phone as she repeated that persons order to the worker, and then gave her own personal order. I do not think workers should be taking notes from customers and then making food. Maybe if the worker had changed gloves before moving to the next customer it might be ok...but he did not. I didn't think anything of it until I was already in my truck, so I had to live with it. The note method flustered the worker (he made a mistake on one of her salads and had to throw it away and start over) because he tried making the salads from the notes AND at the same time make the salads from the lady barking directions at him. Before he was even done with her, he tried asking me what I wanted, and I patiently waited until he was done speaking to the lady. It was strange. I can only think he asked me what I wanted before she was done, to passively show her that she was holding up the line. So i told him what I wanted...steak burrito, white rice, black beans, no extras, no mushrooms. He said 'i got you boss, or bud' something like that. Except he didn't because he forgot the beans and I had to correct him. Then i moved down the line, and gave the rest of my order to the builder. He was also rushed. I asked for a little bit of spicy pico, he tossed a heaping spoon full. ok, fine no big deal. Then he sprayed my dressing on, and started to roll. It was rushed, and I thought it might cause an issue. I live less than 3 minutes away and by the time I got home, my burrito came loose inside the wrapper and made a mess. The lack of attention to details, and not following consistent procedure caused for a bad experience. The workers tend to have a care-free attitude, and seem to want to come across as super cool people rather than just be friendly and provide a good product and service. I also didn't form this opinion over one visit. I doubt anything will change in that regard, but I hope so. I will be back, just not during peak hours as it has trended to being a train wreck at those hours. Im giving 2 stars because as yelp suggests, "meh, I've experienced better'. Maybe not directly in this area, but being well traveled I feel the phrase stands true. And hopefully it draws some attention to maybe spark some changes. read more
