Erm, I think I'd have to be 'desperado' to eat here again.
Ok, that's a little harsh but there are simply better places to eat. It is, as far as I know, the only Mexican/Tex Mex in the area which gives it an advantage.
I went on 'ladies night' which meant cocktails were half price for us girls. I had a cosmo which was too watered down and served in a tumbler, but then I guess we're in a themed restaurant not a cocktail bar, so you can't expect much.
We had nachos to start which as far as I could tell had the kind of cheese you get out of a tube smothered all over them. Grim. And chopped up black olives!? Really? The jalapeños were good, I ate those bad boys.
For my main meal I had beef fajitas which were actually quite tasty and came with a side dish of salsa, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, jalapeños and again, the random olives.
All in all I wasn't too impressed, all a bit bland for my tastes, I think I'll stick to the local curry houses. read more
