This is not the only taco stand in snowflake Arizona. But it is my favorite. The Grande breakfast burrito is amazing. Maybe the jalapeño cream cheese is the secret ingredient. Cool little spot in Snowflake with good Mexican food! I was kinda shocked...but the reviews are no joke! We were smack in the middle between Show Low and Snowflake and my friend said I needed to try El Cupidos so hit the town of Snowflake for food. The restaurant was built from an old gas station which brought a unique flare to it. I got the Green Chile Pork Bean burrito with a beef tamale. Both were great! The pork was tender and flavorful while the tamale was perfect (also smothered in red sauce). The service was quick and the staff were friendly. All good things of course :) On a scale of 1 - 10, definitely worth a try. I'd like to try a few other items on the menu (if I ever hit up Snowflake, AZ again). read more

Every time I'm in Snowflake, I eat at or pick up food at El Cupitos. Some of the best Mexican food you can find anywhere. Generous portions and reasonable prices. We ordered chile relleno plate and carnitas burrito grande size. The relleno is prepared traditionally and correctly with a light egg batter per my dining companion. The carnitas meat was done with attention to details with the meat crisped to provide the correct texture again per my dining companion . I can't believe I have not previously shared a review on this restaurant, I guess I was taking this amazing food for granted and needed to correct this oversight. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, simple counter service to order and pick up food. The decor is simple and bright. Highly recommended! read more

It's crazy that it's not that easy to find really good Mexican food in Arizona, but it is. El Cupidos is pretty darn good, as long as you don't order the very last chicken burrito of the night just before they're closing. I got food poisoning from it & it put me off that place for quite awhile. However, in general, I'd say their food is well seasoned, not too fiery for gringos unless you ask for it, & it's my son's go to place for take away & taking grandmas to lunch! read more

We love this little Mexican Food spot. It's fast food style but waaaaay better than any of the .....bertos places. The staff are always friendly & in a good mood. The place is pretty clean We really like the -Big Jake Burrito -Vaquero Burrito -Green Corn Tamales -Love their green salsa The only reason for the 4 star & not 5 is because their fountain drinks almost always are calibrated wrong & end up tasting weird or are off on the carbonation ratio. Our bench mark 5.0 was a Mexican friend who travelled to her family south of the border each year to join her sisters in making a huge batch of delicious green chili tamales. This place is fantastic! Great, great, great tasting food! Yes, once we didn't receive one of our meals we ordered for a pick up meal. However, they credited back the cost of the meal, and gave us a free meal on our next visit. No issues whatsoever. El Cupidos Express is one of the best in between fast food and casual dining restaurant in the area! Every thing I get is always superb and my favorite thing is their Jalapeno Cream Cheese! It's SPECTACULAR! They are always fast, even when they are busy, and the folks at the front are INCREDIBLE cordial and nice. The only thing I would change is the incessant need to put potatoes in burritos. I don't know if it's a cultural thing, but potatoes, in my opinion, do not belong in a burrito.
