Chicken Enchiladas
Laks N.

We went for lunch on a Saturday. The waiter was really good and explained the choices really well. We ended up getting a couple of Enchiladas, House special margarita and beers. It was a great combination. It is a big place inside and staff were a pleasure to deal with.

Have been in this plaza numerous times but finally made the effort to stop it for dinner. Wasn't too busy, but the staff was very friendly and attentive. My margarita was great and strong as well. The jalapeño poppers were very cheesy and had a good kick. Both entrees were flavorful and filling. Prices were reasonable and the restaurant was well decorated. Looking forward to coming back!

We walked in and there was only one other table being served. Our server kept disappearing into the back- I'm not sure if she was the waitress, the cook, manager, in charge of the register, etc... it was just bizarre! Then out of the blue, this nasty, rude senseless individual came out to grab my credit card and she had such an attitude that she attempted to snatch the booklet off my hand with the receipt and my card and in the process dropped my credit card on the floor. She literally snatched it off my hand! I think she was angry that we interrupted her siesta and she was very obvious to show it. My best friend was beside herself. It took everything in me not to give an attitude right back but we had enjoyed our food and I was in town on vacation so I didn't was to ruin my vibe. I hope hope this is not the norm here. I plan on visiting with my best friend quite often and she really enjoys the food here so I do hope this was a one off.

When the chicken didn't thaw out in time we decided to go local and close. I've heard a few people talk about El Coyote so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. Clean, open and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food had so much flavor and large portions. There was a few things I would love to go back and try from the desert menu. With the chips they give you and the portion sizes we were stuffed. Stayed in the dining room, but the bar had lots of options that were visible. I liked the collages on the wall that were have painted. El Coyote is definitely worth a try.

Paradise Margarita

A hidden gem. Great food, great service. Great drinks and surprise at the end of the meal.

Everyone working there was so nice and helpful. We had never been there before, so we had many questions. They were so patient. At one point, "Momma" came out to talk to us. (I wish that I remembered her name. Ugh!) She was so kind and genuinely concerned that everything was perfect. The restaurant itself was very clean and well decorated. With large windows, there is plenty of natural light. The various songs playing in the background made us feel like we'd been transported to Mexico City, Momma's hometown. You have to do yourself a favor and make a trip here asap.

Lots of great choices made fresh right in the kitchen. The order took a little longer than expected, but it was a Saturday night and they were busy. They have takeout, dining, outside dining, and work with Uber and other vendors for delivery. The items were cheaper than I thought they would be. We got a few things to try. We tried the pork and beef empanadas. The beef was better than the pork. Both were cooked great. They were crispy in the middle, but soft on the end. I've had many empanadas where they are too hard to eat the ends. Not here. We got a steak quesadilla which was great. Sour cream, fresh guacamole, and pico de Gallo on the side. We also got chorizo and enchiladas. The chorizo and sauce was very good. However, it was not rolled and a little hard to cut through. Probably will not order that again. Overall great experience. Will definitely be coming back to try the Mexican street corn and nachos.

CONCEPT: As the name suggests, Tienda Latina sells ingredients, tools, and fast bites associated with "Latin" cuisine. LOCATION: Tienda Latina is located in a small strip mall on the east side of New Milford's Route 7. The location has ample parking, and is just around the corner from another popular grocery destination-- Aldi's. EXPERIENCE: Knowing that a local Beard award nominated chef, Joel Viehland, of Swyft and Community Table fame, views the shop as an important resource led me to initially visit the store. Here you can find hard-to-find cuts of meats, fish, vegetables, fruit, cheeses, and seasonings. It is the sort of place that will inspire even the home cook to push their creative and culinary boundaries. Yet effortless culinary adventures are found as well, such as South American fruit-flavored ice cream and a small prepared food section.

The broth was good but it seems that some of the remaining chicken breast had been added and these were basically chicken flavored charcoal briquettes. That said, we'll be back- but way earlier in the day for sure.

The calamari app was very "good" as was the tuna app. I had the panko crusted Drunken Chicken which comes over mashed potatoes and VERY fresh and delicious vegetables, Massive and VERY good! Wife had the Sea Bass which she liked, but the risotto it sat on was bland. The Burgers are massive and my son rated it "very good" but had better. See the slab of bacon on top in pic. Yes the Out of This World Mac and Cheese was delicious even if not my style... They still carry a fine wine and craft beer selection including many locals. The service was good yet they sent us away because no reservation, said over an hour wait. Left phone anyway and they called 10 min later. Water with hummus dip came quickly, yet waitress was slammed. She was very pleasant and delays were acceptable being they were packed at 7PM on weekend. Ambiance had not changed from the traditional pub style with a large happy bar. Very clean with good energy all around. Will add this back onto our regular list. Keep up the good work!

It was delicious, refreshing and packed a punch and I had two since I wasn't driving lol. The service was exceptional as it was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Definitely worth every ounce and I plan on returning soon.

We have been coming to Diner Luxe regularly for quite some time now, and Tallulah has consistently treated both me and my son with patience, dignity, warmth, and genuine compassion. It deeply saddens me to see people go out of their way to tear down a young woman who has shown nothing but kindness in my experience. As Christians, we are called to lead with mercy, understanding, and truth -- not bitterness. Acts 7:60 says, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." I pray those spreading hatred find peace in their hearts and healthier places for their anger. God bless Tallulah and the staff at Diner Luxe for continuing to create a welcoming place for all families.

Really!! Next we ordered a Reuben with extra crispy fries. They came out perfectly done with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and tenderness on the inside. It also came with cole slaw, again, homemade The sandwich was served in seedless rye. When I asked the server, Sam, about where it was made he said it was brought in from a baker in NY. The corned beef was exceptional and, again homemade. The first thing you see when you walk in is their big dessert case. We didn't have room but we sure wanted to get something. When you go, mind your appetite. In other words, LEAVE ROOM. We will be going back, When I asked about where the desserts were made I was told that they are all made in premises, too! Surprise! Sam, our server was amazing. He made us feel like we were his only clients but without overdoing it. It's a nice place to sit and eat. It's so reminiscent of a classic NYC diner. If you're passing through, you should stop. Bon appétit.
