Food quality / price (value) rating 8.5. The atmosphere is high quality art deco. I had a Chicken Caesar Wrap that came with fries, a pickle and cole slaw. It didn't have enough chicken or dressing in my opinion but it was okay. The wife had the Grilled Chicken Cranberry, apple and Pecan salad and stated that it was very good. This place has a wide variety of very nice baked desserts. The service was good.

We stopped by for a late lunch yesterday and had a wonderful experience. First off, this place catches your attention when driving by with its modern twist on a 50s-style Americana diner. While it's not a traditional diner car, it showcases the era's glitz, flashy décor, and chrome in a fresh, well-kept establishment. The staff was very friendly and courteous throughout our visit. Although we waited an uncomfortably long time from being seated to placing our drink order, we weren't in a rush, so it didn't detract too much from the experience. The menu offers a variety of classics--burgers, fries, pot roast, chicken and biscuits, and all kinds of sandwiches from a Reuben to a Cuban, along with plenty of breakfast options. Oddly, a simple grilled cheese wasn't on the menu, which struck us as a bit unusual. We settled on the Tex-Mex Chicken Sandwich, which came with a side of chili-nacho concoction, along with an order of mac and cheese balls and some fries. Everything was delicious! The sandwich was flavorful, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The nachos did get a bit soggy from the grease and chili juices--but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The mac and cheese balls were perfectly cooked and hearty enough to be a meal on their own. The fries could have used a bit more salt, but that was an easy fix. This is definitely a place to try. It's conveniently located right on the main road with plenty of parking. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained--a worthy stop for any diner enthusiast.

We passed this place so many times when it was still closed and was excited to see it re opened. We were greeted and seated quickly by the friendly staff. we placed our order. My french onion soup was very good. My chicken quesadilla was so so. I like caramelized onion, BUT it made the quesadilla soggy. My husband had a corned beef reuben. He said it was very good. The fries were mediocre. We will go back to give it a second chance.

The grilled artichoke with garlic aioli was not only beautifully prepared, but absolutely delicious!

Recently we visited the Dinerluxe and we had such an exceptional dining experience. When you first enter the restaurant, you are greeted by the friendly staff. You immediately notice the beautiful homemade baked goods and inviting ambiance. Our waiter was attentive and friendly throughout our dining experience. The menu offers a wonderful variety of options for everyone to choose from. There are so many delicious options. Our food came out quickly, and was absolutely delicious!! The baked kefalatiri cheese with local honey, wrapped in filo was amazing, and I highly recommend trying this dish. We also ordered the grilled artichoke with garlic aioli, and not only was it beautiful, but was delicious. Everything we ordered was perfected cooked and flavorful. We loved the inviting and warm atmosphere of Dinerluxe, the variety of dishes offered in the menu and look forward to trying additional dishes soon. This is definitely a place we would recommend to try. It was very easy for us to access and there is plenty of parking. We cannot wait to return!

It looks fabulous but the beauty is only skin deep. I ate there once and wasn't happy that I was served fake food.

With brewery experience dating back to the 1980s, Littlefield had owned and operated Harbor Lights Brewing Company in Dana Point, California during the 1990s. A couple of non-brewery jobs later, Littlefield had relocated to Connecticut and looked to open a new brewery. He purchased a 7-acre property along the banks of the Housatonic River in New Milford. In addition to brewing good beer, Littlefield's goal was to create a venue that the community would appreciate and enjoy. The brewery features a large rustic taproom, a stage for live musical acts to perform, and a large seasonal beer garden under a pavilion. In addition to the housemade beer, HRB also serves wine, cider, craft cocktails, and a large menu of delicious food from their in-house kitchen. In May 2024, Littlefield purchased the former Quirk Works Brewing & Blendery space in Danbury for HRB to use as a secondary production facility. I recently visited Housatonic River Brewing for the first time. I had heard that they host a lot of live music acts and I purchased a ticket to see NYC-based Rush tribute band "Moving Pictures". I'm a HUGE Rush fan, so I was really excited to see the group perform. I arrived over an hour before the show started and grabbed a table close to the stage. There was a modest crowd when I first arrived, but the whole taproom was packed by the time the show started. After looking over the menu, I started off with a plate of "Smoked Macaroni & Cheese" (smoked bacon jalapeño macaroni & cheese) and "Cornbread" (w/ cinnamon honey butter). Afterwards, I moved onto a "Gourmet Brisket Grilled Cheese" (three cheeses between perfectly grilled rustic sourdough toast w/ bacon & jalapeños & fries). Everything was fantastic, especially that heavenly grilled cheese! Throughout my visit, I enjoyed pours of "Uncle Bock" (Doppelbock), "Less Gentle On My Mind" (Double New England IPA), and "Remedy" (Imperial Stout). They were all good, especially the latter two. Moving Pictures also gave an excellent performance to the very energetic crowd. Overall, I had quite an enjoyable evening and I hope to return to HRB!

You order on your own all the way in the back of the place at the bar but your order is brought to you. Weird feel to the place, like line dancing or bad karaoke is going to break out at any time! Their pub food (menu) is amply portioned, quite good and fairly priced! Singularly the BEST burgers I've had anywhere in CT, hands down! Chicken cheesesteak with hot peppers is a close second -- strangely though, no 'real' Philly cheesesteak. Some of their evening specials include a beer which you never see anymore! A $10 dessert pretzel is a bit steep!

The calamari app was very "good" as was the tuna app. I had the panko crusted Drunken Chicken which comes over mashed potatoes and VERY fresh and delicious vegetables, Massive and VERY good! Wife had the Sea Bass which she liked, but the risotto it sat on was bland. The Burgers are massive and my son rated it "very good" but had better. See the slab of bacon on top in pic. Yes the Out of This World Mac and Cheese was delicious even if not my style... They still carry a fine wine and craft beer selection including many locals. The service was good yet they sent us away because no reservation, said over an hour wait. Left phone anyway and they called 10 min later. Water with hummus dip came quickly, yet waitress was slammed. She was very pleasant and delays were acceptable being they were packed at 7PM on weekend. Ambiance had not changed from the traditional pub style with a large happy bar. Very clean with good energy all around. Will add this back onto our regular list. Keep up the good work!

Everything was cooked to perfection, with the steak being cooked medium rare. I also ordered passion fruit martinis since it was a seasonal featured drink for summer and they didn't disappoint. It was delicious, refreshing and packed a punch and I had two since I wasn't driving lol. The service was exceptional as it was welcoming, friendly and attentive. Definitely worth every ounce and I plan on returning soon.
