    Supreme Enchiladas Rancheras
    Monica T.

Went on a Tuesday night and this place was packed in the tiny town of Creedmoor! We met the owner, Alejandro & he was very warm, hospitable & on it with water refills (the key to my hydration loving heart). Food was great; I knowingly over ordered the enchiladas Rancheras because I wanted to try one of everything. It was 5 enchiladas: ground beef, chicken, bean, cheese and beef tips All was topped with red sauce, guac & sour cream. My favorite was the bean enchilada, it was super creamy. I will probably order a tray of those next time! Ask for the house salsa verde, it was a great condiment for everything. They care about the customer & the food quality here.

Tacos: Carnitas (pulled pork, made fresh on Saturdays!!!), chicken, steak, and el pastor (marinated pork?)

Love this place!!!! I work out in Raleigh and have had similar tacos out there but they're not nearly as good as the ones at El Corral. The carnitas are my favorite I'm lucky enough to live very close to this restaurant, so I've been here just about every week recently. The staff here is very kind and accommodating. The food is amazing.

We stopped in on our way back to Raleigh, and it was an awesome experience. I had the shrimp fajita and husband had the burrito fajita. Both were delicious. We also had the guac, and that was good as well. Phenomenal wait staff. Restaurant got packed at 6. Will def eat here again and make the only 20 minute drive!

Clean, roomy, nicely decorated and staffed with awesome servers. Standard Mexican fare is offered plus more! Expanded menu includes fish, smoked pork chops, and healthy dishes. I had grilled veggies and shrimp. It comes covered with cheese sauce, but I asked for mine on the side. Hubby had grilled shrimp, rice, tortillas and guacamole salad. The service is faster than Taco Bell and our food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Generous servings at reasonable prices. Good for large groups as there is a second dining room that could be used for private parties. There are two TVs in the dining room. I'm not a fan, especially when women boxing was on. Really? Right next door is the City Tavern where you can continue your night out on Creedmoor's Main Street. Great newly paved parking lot shared by both businesses, plus free street parking.

Food is plentiful and service always top end. We are especially partial to the fajitas.

Our waitress was attentive and professional. Where to start? The salad bar (mixed greens) is about 3' x 5' full of all the basics like cheese, ham, onions, black olives, tomatoes, chopped boiled eggs and many additional bonuses like macaroni salad, chick pea salad, potato salad, pickled cabbage, pickled beets, seafood salad just to name a few. All fresh and definitely homemade. Next time I'll take a picture. I'm so impressed! She ordered shrimp and grits. Creamy lightly cajun grits and tender grilled shrimp. I ordered the gyro with steak fries. Steak fries are very lightly cajun seasoned. Gyro meat was flavorful and moist and pita was perfectly warmed with a slight crisp on the edges. The chef knows how to cook and present dishes. Friends seated behind us ordered the chicken parmigiana. It looked great and they confirmed the flavor was fantastic. Portions are large for the price. I hope they don't portion themselves out of business. This is an absolute must regardless of your location. A pleasant drive from Oxford, Durham, Franklinton, Youngsville, and surrounding areas. We're meeting here for dinner soon and bringing our husbands. Something for everyone on this menu. The ambiance is upscale but casual, very clean with modern decor. Check it out and you will enjoy!!!!

It's probably not even safe to drive anymore, and you're thinking of calling your therapist or something. It's a special kind of tired. Yeah, that's where we found ourselves on the way through Durham, returning from Thanksgiving. My trusty Yelp app led us to Creedmoor, to an unassuming shopping center. Rino's beckoned with friendly looking signs. It's definitely a family-run spot, with a memorial to Mr. Rino inside. Lots of personality, and by the conversations you could tell there were regulars eating there. We crashed into a booth and ordered some sandwiches. I got this really tasty hot Italian sub with high-quality bread, fresh vegetables and great tasting meat (see picture). Kids had bowls of spaghetti and meatballs, their fave. Service was friendly and quick. Anyway, sometimes you're on the road and need to take the edge off of your exhaustion. Rino's might just be the spot for you, then.

You order at the counter, and the food is then delivered to your table. I ordered the two-egg breakfast plate with my eggs sunny-side up, with grits (hash browns were also an option) and sausage. I also ordered two buttermilk pancakes. The sunny-side-up eggs were perfectly cooked. I put one egg over the grits and the other on the pancakes, then broke the yolks -- it was delicious. The yolk mixed nicely with the perfectly made grits and fluffy pancakes. It is a small place and was crowded with regulars, which gave it a welcoming neighborhood feel. I am going back to try other plates -- I noticed several people ordering the catfish, and it looked excellent.

Nothing is made from scratch, in house and was all little to no flavor. Perhaps this is why salt shakers were the only seasoning on each table. No hot sauce, no hot peppered vinegar, not even black pepper. Just salt. Fried chicken was your standard Sysco/Bulk pre-breaded run of the mill, drop into fryer and keep hot variety. The mashed taters n gravy were instant and of the cheapest bulk commercial variety as well, and the Mac & cheese? I knew it when I saw it but it was the only other decent side available as my first pick of fried okra was not available. For $25 for two people, I'd hit a Bojangles or Popeyes instead of coming here and actually feel full. Darn shame as I'd had high expectations for this mom & pop place, and truly wanted a real-deal Southern soul food meal which this was absolutely not. Maybe their breakfast options are actually made in-house and better? They would need to do so AND be open by 5 AM if they want to profit rapidly and substantially on the ever-increasing commuter to and from Raleigh transplants because the supper choices? Definitely not Granville County's finest. I'd suggest the owners of The Wilton Grill go work for a week from open to close at Apple Market up near South Boston to see how breakfast, lunch and supper is done. I'll try breakfast if and when they are open for wee hours and the planets align, but I doubt I will come here again for lunch or supper unless there's some soul and seasoning slapped into and on the menu. This was on point with elementary school lunch foods. I will say the styrofoam plates and cups, plastic forks, cup lids and straws were clean. They do accept Apple and Google pay, they also give you the option to tip which, lol, I'm not sure what for. This place could be a gold mine in the right hands.
