I had the Firecracker Shrimp (huge!), my wire ordered the crab cakes (disappointing due to more filler than crab at $22 for two), son had the 8oz burger (he loved it), tenders for the little guy, my uncle ordered the alligator bites which they were out of so he picked the catfish nuggets, and my aunt got the chicken nachos. The portions were rather large. Down to stars. I'm on the fence between 3 or 4 for these reasons. We arrived around 2:30pm and probably waited just over an hour for our food. The little ones were restless and cranky. The food was decent with the exception of the crab cakes. Servers were overwhelmed somewhat due to customers sharing stories from what I could gather from nearby tables. People are chatty when the mixed beverages are flowing. However, I love the experience, vibe, and the view. So 4 it is for this trip. You should check them out. I would definitely like to come back. We ordered from the menu and asked for separate checks. No problem. The two servers did a terrific job with taking the orders, serving the food and drink and producing error-free checks at the end. As usual, the food was excellent. Some of the group's favorites were the Maryland Crab Melt on Grilled Texas Toast, Hamburger Steak, Chicken Wrap and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts (really good). Our Club will definitely be including Michaels's in our regular rotation.
