If you want some good Mexican food with good customer service try it out. Family owned and the foods amazing. I've been coming here since they have opened and haven't had 1 bad experience. You want to come for drinks the Michelada's don't disappoint. Hooked up with shrimp and cucumbers. It's always clean and feels like home when you come to eat here. A must try in Tulare

Stopped on our way back home from a road trip. The food was delicious, the service was amazing. Paulina provided the best service and with a smile. Family friendly.

I enjoy their food and friendly staff. It's a Cute cafe, with good brewed coffee. One thing I wouldn't get are the chilaquiles here, had them and just not a fan. But overall, its a nice place with good food. I usually only enjoy breakfast here.

If you looking for a home cooked kind of meal come here. I enjoyed every bite. The service was good. I think the whole family works together. It's a chill environment.

Very comfortable, friendly and clean local place to eat. I had the "short stack" combo w a side of hash-browns and a side of "ranchero sauce". My wife had the "Linguicia and eggs". Unfortunately all I have to post was what was left after we were done eating.... overall it's a great place to stop in if you're looking for a good local restaurant.

Great food, great service. Family owned. Very clean. Wish they were still in Woodlake but still worth the drive to Tulare.

Chili relleno, rice and beans. The size is full portion. Pic is half eaten.

The arancini were perfectly crispy on the outside with a warm, creamy center. They were topped generously with fresh parmesan and paired with a rich pink sauce that really elevated the flavor--definitely a standout appetizer. The rigatoni with chicken cutlet was just as impressive. The pasta tasted fresh and perfectly cooked, and the chicken cutlet was tender, crispy, and full of flavor. The pink sauce (labeled as spicy vodka) was absolutely delicious--more savory and creamy than spicy, which made it super enjoyable and well-balanced. Overall, everything was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend trying both dishes.

If a restaurant is going to add that kind of charge, it should be clearly disclosed upfront before customers order or make reservations. Unfortunately, the experience did not come close to justifying the extra cost. The steaks were badly overcooked, the food was mediocre at best, and there were large flies throughout the restaurant, which made the meal even more unpleasant. I understand that Mother's Day is a busy day for restaurants, but being busy does not give a business a free pass to surprise customers with excessive charges or deliver poor food and service. The 20% surcharge felt unfair and left a very bad impression. I willnot return, and I would strongly recommend that customers check their bill carefully before paying. Not because of…read moreanything negative--it just hasn't been one of the places that comes to mind when we're deciding where to eat. Well, after tonight, that's going to change. We started by sharing the wedge salad. I am a blue cheese girl, and this blue cheese was BLUE CHEESE. Rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I could have happily made a meal out of that alone. We also ordered the calamari, which came with two dipping sauces. One was a sweet and sour-style nuoc cham sauce that was incredible. The other was a fresh, flavorful tartar sauce. The calamari itself was prepared perfectly--light, crispy, not oily at all, and cooked just right. For dinner, I had the pistachio-crusted salmon over vegetable quinoa. The salmon was excellent. The quinoa was good, but probably just not my personal style. My husband ordered the pork chop with polenta, and wow--both were fantastic. That polenta was especially memorable. We sat at a table in the bar area (that's our vibe), and we had the pleasure of being served by Orlando, a newer bartender. He was outstanding. From the moment we sat down, we felt welcomed and genuinely taken care of. He introduced us to a mezcal that complemented our meals perfectly and was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Top-notch customer service. This isn't an inexpensive everyday dinner spot, but the quality of the food, drinks, and service made it absolutely worth it. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back. If you haven't been to Braised lately, go check it out--and if you're lucky enough to have Orlando take care of you, you're in for a great evening.

A+++++ So delicious!! Ok hear me out!…read moreI am from Tulare and when Braised first opened my husband and I went a few times and I we didn't love it! Food and service just didn't quite meet our expectations for a date night. HOWEVER.... We've gone twice recently after a very long hiatus and had a completely different experience.. it was so much better! The food is so unique and delicious...service great, and the drinks were superb as well! I travel a lot, always look on Yelp for the best restaurants and am definitely a picky foodie! Braised is up there with the best food I've eaten in Vegas, LA, SF etc!! YUM. Anyway- I just want to say if you've tried it before and didn't love it...go back and try again! Great vibe, attentive service and yummmmmmy food.

When we were seated, we had to ask for menus and then wait before anyone came to take our order. I specifically requested that my tostadas be made without tomatoes because I have a tomato allergy. Despite that, our server, Christina, brought my meal with tomatoes on it. When I politely reminded her that I had requested no tomatoes due to my allergy, she laughed, said, "Sorry," and walked away. After trying several times to get her attention again, she took my plate into the kitchen. Within about 30 seconds, she returned with what appeared to be the same plate after simply removing the tomatoes. I asked if she had just picked the tomatoes off the food and brought it back, and she confirmed that she had. This was extremely concerning, especially after I had clearly explained that I have a food allergy. Removing the tomatoes does not eliminate the risk of cross-contact, and serving the same plate could have had serious health consequences. I returned the plate and explained that I was allergic to tomatoes, which is why I had requested they be left off in the first place. Eventually, another server brought me a freshly prepared meal. Food allergies should always be taken seriously. The lack of professionalism, the dismissive attitude, and the improper handling of my meal made this a very disappointing experience. I hope management addresses this issue so that no other customer is put at risk.
