    Example of terrible customer service.
    Liliana S.

I had the absolute worst experience here. I would not recommend it. I left a review on google reviews about the customer service there and how terrible it was and I got a response from the same girl that gave us the terrible service with a rude response. On google reviews it has so many reviews of terrible customer service as well so I should've known and not have gone. Take my advice and take your business elsewhere. Plus the food was terrible and the service was worse. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place.

    The Alambra Torta. Magnifico!

There's a bit of an identity crisis going on here but don't let that distract from the food, which is really good. I can't tell if they are going for a candy shop feel or as a restaurant. The decor in the place leans solidly toward the latter but the large selection of Mexican sweets and treats made me wonder. On a recommendation of a friend, I tried the Alambra Torta. A fine, fine sandwich. Lots of meat, some good garnish, and an excellent bun wrapping it up. The al Pastor inside had just enough heat to let you know it was in there and lent some great flavor to the other meats inside the sandwich. It came served with fries that I couldn't get enough of. Hand cut and fried perfectly. Fries aren't the end-all be-all but when you get good fries, you take note. The second dish I tried was an 8 year old's dream. Fried hot dogs on top of french fries and drizzled with ketchup, mustard, and mayo. It didn't look like much but tasted awesome. The dish is large enough to split between a couple of people.

two tacos and a side dish

This place leans toward spicy, in most everything they do. The mild salsa was mild, but still spicy for a lightweight, like me. I really enjoyed the carne asada and pastor tacos, but the chicharon taco was a bit too spicy, for me (again, remember I'm a lightweight, when it comes to spice). I also ordered a mango agua fresca, but it wasn't as good as the one I had at El Mexiquense (Lehi, UT). All in all, a decent experience, but I'll probably have to stick with carne asada tacos, in the future, due to spice levels in their other meats.

We had lunch here today and it was sooo good! However - I'm taking away a star because like a lot of other authentic restaurants, their salsas have wayyy to much heat for the rest of us who can't take it lol Their gorditas are AMAZING btw :) The salsas have so much heat that it's hard to enjoy the great flavor in their tacos. So I told my husband the next time we come, we're bringing our own bottle of tapatio lmbo Staff is always nice & friendly

Delicious and inexpensive. This place has games and other items for sale, as well. The people are very nice. It is a little slow, but well worth the wait. The decor is vibrant and eye catching.

    Street Tacos

The street tacos are $1 a piece and they are delicious. I really enjoyed the pastor and alambre tacos. They have a huge selection of sauces. They also have a great selection of drinks. I tried the tamarindo shaved ice drink and it was really good. I really enjoyed this place and will be coming back for more flavorful food. - He Said

This place was delicious! Authentic mexican cart style food. We had a sope, elote, tacos and one of the fruit bowls. Everything was absolutely amazing and made fresh to order. The owner even brought out a new taco she was testing out for us to try which was also super tasty. Check this place out if you are in the area. You won't regret it :)

They had a ginormous chair we could take photos in, so we took full advantage of that :) This little store is chuck full of food and items made locally. They have produce, candy, ice cream, soda, beer, lotions, coffee, dog treats, decor and everything in between. In the back they have a vending machine where you can buy Bingham Custom Meats bacon bombs. We haven't used it yet, but it looks so awesome! The employee there was a rockstar! She helped us figure out our candy bouquets and made them look awesome! The kids absolutely loved them and I think we're going to need to do this again. Maybe the husband and I will get one for ourselves too next time.

Alright, on your first visit here you are going to get lost unless you heed my warning and follow…read morethese instructions: When you exit off 89 at the light, turn right toward Best Western. Just south are some strips of businesses. Search for the karate studio and art academy, then take a left to go behind them and there's Beehive! I swear, they are trying to hide from someone, and even having visited two years ago, I still couldn't find 'em when I stopped by a few weeks back! Inside, it's an itsy lil' store offering wedges of their cheese by the pound and cheese curds. They also have a few varieties of excellent cheeses not made in house and local Creminelli salami, plus Chocolot candies. They carry a decent selection of Savannah Bee Company bath and body products, and a bit of their own branded merchandise. A variety of local stores sell Beehive Cheese, but it's still fun to stop here as you have access to all their goodies, most importantly, a variety of dreamy cheese curds. I just tried Fully Loaded for the first time: a delightful cheese fortified with High West's Double Rye Whiskey, and wow! That is a new favorite (and I truly adore all their cheeses). It's a little bit sweet, with such an intriguing flavor, and everyone I shared it with remarked that it was especially delicious. Chocolot (based in Ogden!) makes some excellent and beautiful artisan truffles. At Beehive, they also had some of their toffee, peppermint bark, and chocolate covered cinnamon bears. I really adore this brand, and it can be difficult to track down, so make sure to snatch up a box (chocolates are $2 a piece, available either as a set of three of six). The truffles vary in each package, and are not marked, but you can find a flavor key on their website: https://chocolot.com/pages/flavors. 4 stars for the shop, which could use a little excitement as it's a tad utilitarian, but 5 strong stars for their most exceptional cheese! They are a little out of the way, but I always forget how close they are to Ogden. Make the time to stop here if anywhere close by.

We only went for the cheese which is very good & unique. They have a new retail location that's…read morenice.
