Outstanding service. Seated quickly and had chips and salsa almost immediately. Stopped in on work trip and was feeling a might peckish and this really did the trick. Started with a Strawberry Margarita which Dakota made perfectly and nearly instantly. Ordered the Enchiladas California and it was fantastic. Fresh lettuce and guacamole with beautifully cooked rice and tender white meat enchiladas. Place has an authentic Tex/Mex vibe and was very clean and comfortable. Brand new restaurant. Nice building with even nice restrooms. I love the mariachi band going around singing and entertaining everyone. The food was ok not a lot of favor but it satisfied me. It was basically raining in the building if you were seated under the vent. Even after informing the waitress of the water that was leaking from the vent and had gotten in our food, water and chips she did not replace any of it. She said she would tell the manager (who never showed up to address the leaking vent). However we finished eating what we thought had not been "showered on" and left. If we go back or if you go make sure you look up and check your surroundings before you sit down to eat because if not and there's a problem oh well it's on you!! read more

This is the finest quality restraunt that i have been to in vidalia so far the food is very great quality and the decor is very appealing to the eye you feel like your in another country and you are not ready to leave anytime soon. A grocery store next door to the restaurant found behind the Z chicken chain. Good service. Refills were quick. The chips weren't warm but the salsa was very good. Authentic Mexican food. Not sure exactly where they are from but the food is delicious. I'll be back for another visit read more

This was my first visit to El Centenario. To start, the restaurant is spotless (including restrooms), the staff is courteous, knowledgeable, & very attentive to customer needs! Now, to the real reason we go to a restaurant, The Food! The salsa & chips were great, salsa was of moderate heat, but lots of great flavor going on, chips were warm, & very crisp! Walked in with wife late Saturday night. Friendly hostesses greeted us and we were sat. Waitress came for drink orders. I ordered a dos equis amber. Blank stare....I repeated. "Um how do you spell that?" Thats a new one, I have never heard a response like that. I said never mind , how about a Corona? We continue to look at the large menu with many options. She then comes back with a 7 oz. Coronita! I asked my wife what it was going be when it grew up. Another employee came by and apologized with a normal sized Corona, no lime. Food order taken and I asked for a lime. Waitress came back with a lime...IN HER HAND. WTF. Food was taking a long time, waitress said she put the order in but they just started making it. Another hostess comes by to ask if this is to go or are we eating here? We had been there for 40 minutes at this point. Food comes, no flavor. Some of the most bland I've ever had. Great atmosphere and service; but terrible tacos!! I didn't know you could mess up a simple beef taco but they did. There was no flavor at all to the ground beef. My husband had the Chile Verde, it was really good and flavorful. So if you go here just skip the ground beef. read more
