Minerva's carnitas, but I loved that they actually had the correct Mexican Sancho cheese and not the cheddar /jack everyone else uses. The sauce on the burrito was beautiful. The green sauce that was brought with the chips was great with clear chili flavor and medium heat, the red has more punch and is a roasted pepper flavor. I had a Mondrian Burritos to drink. 100% chance I will return here when I am back again!

I politely asked the manager if my wife and I could move farther away, but instead of helping, he refused and told me it would be "just as loud" anywhere else. We moved ourselves anyway--and it was immediately and noticeably quieter. That told us everything. A simple customer request could have been handled in seconds, yet the manager chose to dismiss our concern rather than help. To make matters worse, my fish was overcooked. Good food can sometimes make up for imperfect service, and good service can sometimes make up for imperfect food. Unfortunately, we received neither. If customer service and good food matters to you when choosing where to spend your money, I would strongly consider other options. We will not be returning.

Most restaurants bring everyone's dinners at the same time. He didn't even get his green salad that he ordered. When I brought that up, "Oh I'm sorry, you need to yell at me." The diners should not have to tell the waitress to bring you your food. He should have had his salad brought to him at least at the same time that my dinner arrived. She brought our food & we never interacted with her again until it was time to pay. Waste of time and gas from Jerome. NEVER AGAIN!!!

My husband had Sam's Omelette and I had simple scrambled eggs with hash browns. Both meals were so huge we had to take half home. We told Sam, the owner, that we would be back tomorrow. He was quite surprised that we actually did come back. My husband heard him mention that the gravy was made daily which enticed him to come back so soon. Well, the biscuits and gravy were very good. On a side note, we noticed that most of the customers were regulars which sold us as well.

We were able to get our table early which was great! Our Knob Hill Manhattan cocktails were served chilled to perfection and went down nicely. We started with a couple of appetizers, scallops and foie gras. The scallops were ok but the foie gras was the winner. What a combination of flavors! My mouth was very happy. We were seated at a table next to the window and in front of the fire place. A very nice table indeed. The restaurant is very cozy with great ambiance and I never felt that it was too loud and the service was great. Dinner for me was the Colorado Bass, cooked nicely with a crunchy skin. My friend had the pappardelle bolognese. I had a bite of that and it was delicious! Dessert though....Amaro Affogato. (Fun to say and defined: Bitter Drowned) A great way to end the meal. Get it.

I still ate it all of course, but next time will get a small. The ice cream was delicious and exactly what I wanted. It was cheap too! We got two ice creams and fries for about $9 and change. The fries were okay - they needed some more salt and a lot of them were overcooked and too crunchy. There's seating inside but we took it to go. We'll be back on our next trip to redfish lake!

We each ordered and the cashier made it very seamless and easy. We got our burger meals and shake within 10-20 minutes. Everybody was super nice and patient with all our orders. I had the mushroom burger with curly fries, while others had a variety of stuff but mainly shakes. The burger was your typical burger, at least it was not dry. Maybe a little too much mayo for me, but I scooped it out. Haven't had curly fries in a long time, so that hit the spot while slurping up my Huckleberry shake. I don't usually order shake, but I had to since I'm here and they have huckleberry flavor. I do wish it had more huckleberry in there instead of just the purple color and a hint of it. Truthfully, it was and remains the single BEST night's sleep I have ever had driving long distance. A nice bar a block away that mixed my favorite drink, and all was well. THe next day, I had a delicious breakfast and excellent coffee, and I was on my way. I did not have a single night's sleep the rest of the trip that was half as good as the night I spent at Hanson's. Kind folks, great place, great food, and [most important!] a great price! If I ever drive cross country again, I just might try to map my route so that I'll go through Glen's Ferry & have an excuse to spend a night or two here again. :)
