I love this place! Everytime I'm in hagerman I have to stop by and get their pork nachos it so freakin good!!!!! Service is always amazing and the food over all is always good. The only thing I'd say they could work on is getting a set schedule of hours open; it can be alittle confusing figuring out which location is open or not, thankfully they're close by one another so if one's not open you can bet the other is. Very nice staff and great food !!! Portions are good too. Get salsa and bean dip before meal. Salsa is pretty spicy but not too hot. I got the chile Colorado burrito lunch special comes with rice and beans. Was very good fresh and hot. Lunch meal was only $11.00. Will definitely come back if traveling back through. read more

We chose Los Potrillos because we were hungry and the reviews were great. The server was exceptionally good and she didn't get flustered because of a full lunch crowd. The lunch was inexpensive but full-sized portions. We ordered a chicken enchilada and taco. Both were full of meat and delicious. The other order was two cheese enchiladas with a side of homemade tomatillo salsa. It was superb. If you pay by card, they charge 4 %. If you pay by cash, you save that! read more

Found this gem on our visit to Hagerman Fossil Beds NM. This was like a Mom and Pop place. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They offered free chips and salsa and bean dip.I ordered the Mix and Match Pick 2: Chile Relleno and Meatless Chimichanga. It came with rice and beans and shredded lettuce. Hubby ordered the Steak and Chicken burrito. We were surprised on how large the portion was. For me, it's a shareable size. Food was delicious and they were very generous with the meat. I wasn't able to finish my meal so I ended up getting it to go. They didn't have horchata in our visit but it's okay. Service was great. read more

Food was good but not great. I ordered the chile relleno and tamale combo. It was pretty good but a bit bland. My issue was the service and the heat. No AC and just a few fans to blow on a few tables. My SWass had SWass! One person out front and one person cooking. Phone orders were coming in and leaving so the 4 tables with customers waited much longer than expected. Maybe to go is the way to go! read more

This place is a hidden gem. Don't let looks deceive you. Fancy storefronts Don't mean quality and service. Went in here at 5:15 on a Tuesday. Only 2 other tables. They have a good selection of beer, Mexican and domestic. We ordered a beer and browsed the menu. Ordered a mocajete, and a Chile Rellano. Watched a couple of burritos come out. Super huge with all the trimmings. The mocajete had chicken, Carne asada, and bacon wrapped shrimp. Grilled jalapeños and grilled green onions. Queso was all incorporated in the dish with a spicy red sauce. Best one I've ever eaten. The Chile Rellano was homemade and hand breaded. Huge plate of accompaniments. Pico, guacamole, beans and rice along with corn and flour tortillas. Everything was spot on. By the time we left at 6:30 the place was full with people waiting out front. Obviously the secret is out. Traditional Mexican food at a good price. Can't wait to come back. There was only one girl and the service was stellar also. Very enjoyable dinner. read more

We tried this spot on The recommendation of other yelp reviews. So glad we stopped. We had a great soak at Miracle Hot Springs and wanted to end our day with a nice meal. The server was attentive. My husband had the Carne Asada Burrito which was huge and very tasty! I had the Carne Asada plate with beans and rice and Guacamole and a side of tortillas which was quite good. Our oldest had their fajitas shrimp /steak and our Younger son had Carne Asada Tacos. Everyone was VERY pleased with their meal. The portions were huge! We have had our fair share of Mexican food from Cali and this was definitely up there with some of the best places we've been too. Good Authentic Mexican food! We recommend it. While the air conditioning was not sufficient, the food was amazing! We were able to turn a fan so the air around us moved, which made the heat more tolerable. Our server was attentive. The water glasses were big enough that they didn't need refills. The Camarones Al Mojo was delicious. Servings were generous. We ordered the churros for dessert to go, and enjoyed the a little later when it was cooler! Did I mention we went there on a day that the Magic Valley was hotter than the Treasure Valley? My husband and I were in the mood for Mexican food after our long day. Luckily we saw this on our drive back to the hotel and decided to stop. We were not disappointed with our dinner. We're staying at a local RV resort here (Rustic Edge - check it out!) in lovely Hagerman and wanted a night off from cooking. We stopped at Los Potrillos and we're greeted by the friendly hostess and server. We ordered some takeout and got a couple beers while we waited. We got the Potrillos burrito, Super burrito, and two kids meals. Great size burritos! Free chips and salsa. Good salsa with some kick! We will eat here again when visiting, for sure. read more

Driving through the small town of Hagerton just outside of Twin Falls so we decided on Mexican food. Found this small little place on the quiet main street. It was nice to actually nice to eat inside during this pandemic that's going on. Ordered the lunch size chili verde burrito with rice and beans. Glad I just ordered the lunch portion. As you can see by the picture, it was very large. It was some of the best chili verde I have ever had, and I love chili verde. Rice and beans were top notch. Burrito was filled with meat, not like loot of burritos that I've had that have mostly filler and hardly any meat. All this for$7.50! Coming from California, it was a bargain. Very friendly staff.
