OMG! Came to Idaho from the southwest and their Burrito Lady Burrito is hands down the best burrito I have had in Idaho! Minerva's carnitas, but I loved that they actually had the correct Mexican Sancho cheese and not the cheddar /jack everyone else uses. The sauce on the burrito was beautiful. The green sauce that was brought with the chips was great with clear chili flavor and medium heat, the red has more punch and is a roasted pepper flavor. I had a Mondrian Burritos to drink. 100% chance I will return here when I am back again! read more

Stopped here for lunch on the way back from exploring both of Shoshone's caves. We found the place to be clean, the sole employee was friendly, and the food was decent. We both ordered burritos and they were good. Not out-of-this-world good, but good nonetheless. If we found ourselves back in the area I would say we would stop here again. read more

Up here on vacation from San Diego where mexican food is a religion and this place rocked it! Quesadilla was super thick and delicious, flautas were perfectly crunchy and delicious, and the chorizo burrito was of the charts! Also very impressed with the table salsa, nice and spicy! read more

We stopped for a quick bite on our way home from Sun Valley. We just had a few tacos, but they were memorable. The cashier was very nice and brought us some chips and salsa while we waited for our order. They were greatly appreciated and were really fresh and delicious (as were the tacos). I came across this place from yelp. Every yelp reviewer gave this place 5 stars and now I know why. I got the carnitas burrito lady and it was delicious! The lady also gave us 2 sauces on the side, one red and one green. The red was by far my favorite it was super spicy, but extremely flavorful. I'm sure anything you order will be delicious. SO INCREDIBLY GOOD. On a roadtrip through Idaho and Montana and this food was definitely a highlight. We got the Lady Burrito with adabado (spicy), mini lady burrito with chicken (perfect size if you had 5 hot dogs night before; much more mild), and cheese enchiladas. Salsas were awesome. read more

I had driven through Shoshone several times on my way to Sun Valley and noticed this little restaurant several times. I decided recently to stop in and give it a try. The place was clean. That's what I noticed first. What I also noticed was the Television was on and was very loud. Not so loud that it hurt my ears, but loud enough that it was distracting. The waitress came over and took my order and then went back and called the order in. I thought that was odd but either way my order was relayed to the kitchen. In a short time the waitress went out the back door and came back in with my food. That was also odd. The food itself was fine. Nothing special. It was as good as Taco Bell or Los Betos in Boise. I ate most of it, paid my bill and left. What I then noticed made me do a double take. The reason the waitress had to go out the back door is because everything is served out of a FOOD TRUCK. What also caught my attention was somebody was trying to wrap the food truck in some kind of plastic enclosure. Very odd. I don't know that I'll stop in again. read more

First, there is a "drive-up" window... easy access to get my truck and boat to the order window... will be a traditional stop, returning from Magic Reservoir... Good beans (cheesey) and rice, with chicken stock, and peas mmmmm... Enchiladas (3) with choice of fillers, but she utilizes a mole for the sauce, complex flavors.. Carne Asada tacos, tender corn tortillas, cilantro and onions... Wonderful flavors, each dish a distinct taste... Wow, wow, wow!! This was one of the best meals on our week long trip! The restaurant is a tiny shop with just four inside tables but the food is amazing! While my husband was fueling up he noticed The Burrito Lady across the street so he jumped on Yelp to see if there were any reviews and was surprised to see all the ratings were 5 star. We decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. The other reviews are spot on. The dining area was small so we opted for the outdoor table. We sat down and before my son had a chance to even ask "when will our food get here?" lunch was served. I had the burrito lady with pork and it was delicious! My husband and 11 year old son each had the grilled steak burrito they both devoured every last bite. The chips and salsa were so good!!! The green salsa had just the right amount of spice. The red salsa was a bit more spicy and it was my son's favorite. I would have love to take some of the salsa home! We would without a doubt stop here again. read more

I was going to try this place the last time I was going through Shoshone but at the time they did not take credit cards. Well now they do! I had the Carnitas Torta and it was excellent. This had a good amount of meat and it wasn't fatty like you get at some places. The service was great as well. I highly recommend. read more
