Special shout out to this restaurant that catered in less than 24 hours!! Amazing quality and service!! Thank you for making my G babies first birthday party a huge success. Rave reviews on the delicious food and stellar service. I'm always one to worry about running out of food - let's just say all of the guests went home with "take out" from the party. You are my sons go to place every Friday and now I know why. Thank you for everything and even the surprise of the margaritas!! I'm bummed I didn't get a shot of ALL the delicious food!

We're driving by and saw the reviews so we decided to stop and have late lunch. I got the mixed fajitas. It was very salty. And they only have 3 tortillas (most restaurants include at least 5). Hubby got the tacos and it's so dry it tasted like it's made from frozen tacos. My kids got the chicken tenders and the hamburger. They both ate only half of theirs. I tried the burger and it's also very dry and bland. The ambiance is Mexican-ey but the flavors really fall short of an authentic Mexican place (as what they claim to be).

This was a great place to take the family after an Odessa Boys basketball game, great atmosphere, great food, great service. My kids even saw some local high school athletes there eating also. Will surely be back!!

These were the chicken enchiladas, so delicious.

El Camino Real is our "go-to" place. Everything is reasonably priced and consistently good. The best margaritas around hands down!

Not impressed with the service the last couple 9f times I've been in. The food has not been up to par compared to other nearby options.

Before you even get a chance to open your menu they have brought your first bowl of the bottomless chips and salsa.

I was in from out of town and looking for a good Mexican restaurant. This is close to the hospital…read moreso I ordered food to go. I ordered birria soup, tamales, and fajitas. The order was ready on time and the service was super friendly and efficient! The restaurant was very clean and busy when I went in. I'm from Texas and I definitely love our Tex Mex better but the food here was really tasty and they gave really big portions. They also included salsa, chips and plenty of napkins and utensils. I would definitely go back and try other things on the menu!

So having eaten Mexican food in Texas, California, and Mexico itself, I am very critical of Mexican…read morefood. My daughter in law decided to treat me to dinner and since we kept seeing this restaurant pop up on our community awareness page with great reviews, we decided to try it. When I tell you we wanted to leave after we got the chips and salsa, it's bad. Nothing on the menu looked good, but we decided to stay and try the food even though the salsa wasn't giving us "this is going to be good" vibes. We ordered chicken nachos, tamales, fajitas, and my granddaughter just wanted meat and rice, so they brought a picadillo style hamburger meat. Let's get into this salsa. It literally tasted like watered down tomato sauce with a couple chinos of onion and cilantro in it. The chips were good, but definitely deserved a better salsa. My daughter in law said it tasted like watered down ketchup. Then the nachos came out. These nachos, man, they needed help, so much help. The chicken was dry, there was no cheese on the nachos, and the toppings were located in just the middle of the nachos, they weren't evenly distributed. I couldn't even pour salsa on them to help them because well the salsa was terrible. Main dishes came out. Food was hot, I'll give them that. The fajitas didn't have your signature sizzling plate which kind of killed the vibe. The meat was tender, I'll give them that, but it had no flavor, it was fatty, and the ratio of meat to vegetables was 1 to 2. We were given 4 tortillas and it was literally enough for 2 full tacos because they were so thin, you had to use 2 tortillas per taco. It came with the standard sides: rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. The rice was hard and bland, like it was undercooked and only tomato sauce was used to "color" the rice. The beans honestly didn't even taste like pinto beans, they just tasted like nothing. My granddaughter's plate came out, they made sure it was a cold plate so she didn't burn herself. The meat was greasy and tasted like cat food smells, if that makes sense. Her rice was hard as well. She didn't eat hardly any of it. The tamales were probably the best thing at the restaurant other than the sweet tea. I was a little disappointed because we didn't get the full tamale experience by being able to unwrap them. They were pork tamales and definitely had good flavor. The service was decent, they came back and checked on us several times. All in all, we definitely won't be back.

I'll start by saying I was in Warrensburg from out of state for my daughter's graduation. So, I…read moregoogled a restaurant that is close, in a safe park of town that easy to access with plenty of parking and arrived at Cancun Mexican Cuisine. Outside the place needs a little TLC but no big deal I thought. Walking in I really enjoyed the amount of décor giving it that Mexican vibe I love. Looking around the stucko, hanging hats, flags, obnoxiously colored chairs and tables are what comes to mind when I go out to eat at a Mexican restaurant. However, on a 90 degree day, the restaurant was like 92 which was sort of a precursor to the experience I was about to embark on. First off the salsa was pretty bad. It had no heat which I actually prefer but it had no flavor. I literally thought it tasted like a mild marinara as if no cilantro was added rather it was poured from a can. The chips were ok but after tasting the "salsa" I was disappointed as that's usually the highlight. At least my sweet tea was pretty good. Oh the server needed something else to do as he was at the table every five minutes. As for dinner my daughter got the fajita nachos and seemed fairly unimpressed. It was mostly because the cheese was fairly bland but she did like the veggies as they looked and tasted charred. My other got the steak fajitas. While most of it was decent, the steak was TOUGH and had zero flavor. I literally had two bites and had to spit both out because I couldn't get through one bite. She did mention "wow usually it tastes a lot better." Her boyfriend seemed to echo the same point, WTH was up with the food. As for my meal, I tried the Enchiladas Bandera's. I thought it was ok. I liked having three options on one plate but I noticed all the sauces weren't very flavorful. I know being a former chef can taint my view, but most want to taste that "authentic Mexican" in every bite. I will say that the chicken and beef were cooked right and juicy and I liked the corn tortillas. I believe if the sauces had more "life" this would have been gone from an ok dish to an absolute winner. I'll say I was very pleased to have lettuce with sour cream and guac to round out a personalized tasting of each enchilada. Overall, I didn't come away with a great experience at Cancun. While the mood was perfect, the heat, and canned sauce flavors with over cooked beef threw off the whole experience. I'll admit I generally like to visit a place more than once just to be sure it wasn't a one-off experience; I don't have that luxury. My final words are if you want Mexican, consider somewhere else.
