The cake itself almost had zero sweetness to it which made the icing taste extremely sweet and unbalanced between to two. Even by itself the icing was very sweet. The cake , probably because it was precut and sitting for who knows how long, wasn't very moist. While not unbearably dry it was pushing the line of being too dry. I think a fresh cut slice would be way better moisture wise, but still unbalanced sweetness. I'd like to see what else the city a has to offer cake wise but I wouldn't call this one particularly great. I'd call this 2.5/5 but can't give half star reviews.
