If you love authentic Colombian food or just want to try something different, you need to check this place out. It's small and sort of hidden in a shopping strip in Mauldin. It can get busy during lunch and the kitchen is small so don't go if you're in a hurry, this is not fast food. I love the empanadas and the bandeja paisa is a good choice to try several different things. Everything is seasoned perfectly. It's a large plate that's enough to feed two. They have a lot of dishes to choose from including fish, steaks, soups and salads. They also have a counter with a large selection of breads and pastries. There is also a breakfast menu.

    Simply put....deliciously wonderful!!'n

When it comes to a restaurant review & you remove all the fluff and personal opinions/biases It boils down to two things - 1. Will I come back & 2. Would I recommend a restaurant to friends and family. The answer to both of these is a resounding YES on both points. Great authentic food with friendly service. A must try & a must repeat. Casual! Comfort! AUTHENTIC!!!! Tasty!!!!!!!!!!

We arrived Greenville a couple days ago and wanted to find a Colombian bakery and we were so surprised when we found this place only 12 mins away from my sister's house. We placed an order over the phone and drive there ASAP as we COULDN'T wait to eat delicious colombia bread. To our surprise not only does this place sell a variety of Colombian baked goods but Colombian food and Colombian products to take home such as arepa harina, snacks, chocolate, coffee, etc. order was ready and evything we ordered tasted fresh buñuelos, pandebonos, empanadas de cambray which are pandebonos stuffed with guava, and cheese bread. My only complaint though and I have sadly noticed this in SC so far is the crazy use of styrofoam which we all know is a planet killer. Porfavor to the owner of this establishment use better choices, help the planet. PORFAVOR CAMBIEN EL USO DE CONTENEDORES DE ICOPOR ES MUY MALO PARA EL PLANETA.

After seeing several Instagram posts raving about this restaurant and being new to South Carolina,…read morewe decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown from the start. The exterior looked rundown, and inside, many tables were still covered in dirty dishes, with flies circling around. Despite the initial red flags, we decided to stay and give the food a chance. When we received the menu, none of the dishes had prices listed. I asked the server for a menu with pricing, but she just laughed and said none of their menus had prices, and if I wanted to know, I'd have to ask her directly. This was off-putting, but we ordered a mix of Colombian and Mexican dishes: lengua criolla, milanesa de pollo, a burrito, and a chicken quesadilla. When the food arrived, things went from bad to worse. The burrito was smothered in a thick sauce they claimed was cheese, but it clearly wasn't. The quesadilla had an odd, almost liquid cheese with no flavor. The lengua was passable, but the accompanying salad was soggy and tasted off. Wanting to avoid further complaints, I simply asked for the burrito to be remade without the sauce. The server refused, saying that's just how they made it and couldn't accommodate the request. As someone who is 100% Colombian and has lived in Mexico and California, I can confidently say the "Mexican" food here was not authentic and tasted terrible. When I asked to remove the uneaten burrito from the bill, the server seemed visibly irritated but agreed. While my wife and I finished most of our food, our kids couldn't eat theirs. To top it off, the server never brought the bill to the table, so I had to go to the counter, where she simply gave me a total without a proper receipt. I ended up paying $97 for a meal that wasn't worth half that. It's disappointing to leave this kind of review, but there are far better Colombian restaurant options in Greenville, Mauldin, and nearby areas. I strongly recommend staying away from this place--especially the so-called "Mexican" menu.

We both had the Bandeja Paisa with no rice and double beans. The beans were the best part. The steak was a little chewy for my taste, but the salsa they have for it was really good. It wasn't super hot, but had a good kick and taste that complimented the steak very well. The chicharrón was also crispy and went well with the beans. The sausage was really good and went well with the plátano maduro. Overall, a good place for those that enjoy Columbian food in Greenville, SC.

Literally a hidden gem of a find in downtown Greenville…read more.. We only found this place by visiting the Greenville Drive team store on a Saturday afternoon. Decided to check it out for dinner on a Friday night and was shocked it was so empty. It's only a matter of time before this place fills up! I'm assuming baseball season will have this spot packed. This is the second location (original is on woodruff rd). If you look up the other location- they have fabulous reviews and rightfully so. They have daily specials, lunch specials and happy hour! A DJ on Saturday afternoons as well as brunch. We sat at the bar and Vanessa took great care of us. She gave us great recommendations. I love that they make their own drink mixes! It makes all the difference in quality. We tried a mango mojito and Pisco passion. Both were yummy! Pisco passion is strong fyi. The mood for something filling/delicious was fulfilled and then some! We both got mofongos which come with your choice of plantains: sweet, green or trifongo. We only tried the trifongo with roasted pork (which was amazing) but our favorite was the shrimp al ajillo (garlic shrimp). For the record- last time I had mofongo this good & flavorful I was in Puerto Rico. Safe to say we LOVED everything about both dishes. Still thinking about the garlic sauce with the shrimp! Chefs kiss! And the crispy pork belly pieces on top of the plantains that just melt in your mouth! The Ribeye steak board was recommended by a local (also dining at the the bar). He RAVED about the steak and the sides it comes with. Apparently only this location has a magical creamed corn dish as one of the sides for the all steak boards. Will be back to see how magical it really is! Ambiance is hip & fun with a splash of casual elegance. Great for a family dinner, date night, girls night- whatever. The only downside to planning your visit here is the parking. No private lot & street parking is scarce. I believe there's a garage across the street? The food, drinks & service will make the parking situation worth it. Planning on coming back to try their brunch. Cannot wait!

Tasty, inviting, good service: this place had it all! I got a Chicken Rice Bowl, and I definitely…read morerecommend. We did get chips and cheese to start off with, but I wasn't too crazy about that- I recommend getting just the salsa instead. I will be back to try more of their entrees!

Stopped driving home from Greenville and they had amazing reviews but it just wasn't it for us…read more I ordered 2 beef empanadas and 2 cheese. I received chicken and maybe (?) beef, hubby thought it was very pork like but the menu doesn't have pork and I think it was the vegan empanadas. They were good, but not what we ordered. Hubby got the skewers with rice, wonderful. My food never came, when I asked they told me I didnt order it and I had to insist I did, and then they told me it will be right out. I ate the empanadas with hubby, hubby ate is skewers, rice, and potato, my food was still nowhere to be seen. At that point I asked for a refund, they told me my food wasn't ready, and I said I know, I'm done here and would like a refund which they gave to me in cash. It was an hour from ordering to me asking for a refund. What we had was good but 1) I wouldn't recommend for someone with allergies or food restrictions, 2) it took awhile to get the food The woman at the front was very sweet but I was disappointed because several people on TikTok recommended it, and the reviews are exceptional.

My wife and I tried Latin Flavorz at their new location at 870 E. Suber Road, Greer, SC…read more That's the front side of the Lowe's Food shopping center shared with Lieu's Chinese Bistro, Voila French Cafe, and Nixtamal Mexican Kitchen. Basically, across the street from Riverside High School. Latin Flavorz is billed as "fast casual." It was! We got there at 11 am for lunch (see that menu below). We'll have to come back to try the breakfast menu. It appears to feature a lot of egg dishes with fiesta potatoes and chorizo. My wife was encouraged to try it by some work colleagues who promised "the best burger in Greenville" and we had to try the pandebono (which we didn't try this time). My wife tried the Beef Burger which was a very thick and tasty patty on a sesame seed bun. Served with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, crispy bacon, two melted cheeses, potato stix, and the Latin Flavorz in-house condiments. It was served very hot and juicy. It was big enough for us to split. It's $14.99. She made it a combo (fountain drink and fries) for another $5.99. I tried the skewers: one beef and one chicken. The steak was perfectly cooked, a decent portion, had a good flavor. The chicken was also prepared well, served hot, and had a good seasoning. Mine was served with a couple of small, roasted potatoes and spicy guacamole. $13.99. I added the House Rice for $2.99 and a fountain drink (I think about $3.) I gave my date a chunk of the steak and a chunk of the chicken in exchange for a third of the burger. "Flavorz" for sure. Nothing was bland. Lots of Colombian and Venezuelan influences here. The smells from the kitchen were making my mouth water as soon as we walked up to the counter to get our menus. After ordering, you're given one of those electronic pucks to know when your food is ready. When buzzed, you return to the counter to fetch your food. Since it was a counter-service set-up, we only had dealings with the gentleman at the register. He was friendly. The atmosphere features a hand-painted mural on one wall and painted concrete floor. All nicely done. They spent some money on the menus which are well-designed with colorful, enticing photos. Several of the dishes look to be a work of art. Being a brand-new venue (opened the week of Christmas 2025), it was immaculate and spacious. By the time we left, the lunch crowd was hopping! Outside the restaurant is a good number of parking spaces, except when the fitness spot next door is busy. But across the lane are a few hundred spots as part of the whole shopping center. With tax and tip, it was almost $50. So, more of a special occasion place for a lunch. regular and jumbo hot dog both featuring caramelized onions, bacon, cheese, and potato stix with their in-house condiments. Their taco offerings: birria, tacorritos (beef, chicken, mixed), and street tacos (beef, chicken, and mixed). Quesdillas (beef, chicken, or cheese). And a Quesa-birria. If you like plantains, they have a deep-fried option with beef, chicken, and mixed. All topped with their specialty garlic sauce and pink sauce. An up-and-coming fare favorite to Greenville: Arepas--corn meal patties. You can get two per order (beef, chicken, mixed, or plain). All filled with cheese and topped with the garlic sauce and pink sauce. The dual skewers come with roasted potatoes and spicy guacamole. (Beef, chicken, or mixed.) Latin Flavorz also offers some interesting looking fusion items: Super Salchipapa with is a bowl of crispy fires, fried sausage, plantain bits, with melted cheese, garlic sauce, pink sauce, and spicy guac. You can add pineapple for 99-cents. Sweet plantains with cheese: a bowl of plantain wedges, deep fried with melted cheese. Chori-papas: a plate of crispy French fries, yellow potatoes, and Colombian Chorizo slices, topped with the garlic sauce and pink sauce. Garlic Shrimp: good sized shrimp covered in garlic ajillo sauce, served with white rice, lettuce, and slices of fried plantains. The Pikada for Two is a large plate of crispy fries, with chorizo and Blood Sausage, beef, chicken, fried plantain (tostones), fried yellow potatoes (papa criolla), with wedges of lime and tomato. Spicy aji and pink sauce on the side. Sweet plantain and cheese rolls, deep fried, four per order. Salchipapaas, crispy fries, fried sausage, drizzled with garlic sauce and pink sauce. The House Salad is mixed green lettuce, tomatoes, pecans, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries with their signature honey mustard dressing.
