    So good

Really cute spot. I also appreciate their inclusion when hiring. Easy to order and so much to choose from. Everything we got was very fresh. My daughter loved the strawberry swirl cake. So delicious and savory. My only thing I wasn't crazy about was that you had to spend at least $20 or $30 I forget to use a card.

Love love love Dolce Italy it is a family friendly cafe. Authentic Italian pastries, food, gelato and coffee. Smiling friendly faces whenever we come!

Excellent for Americans who have never tried fresh pastries and goodies, so for Americans it's a 4 but if you're European or Italian it's a True 2.5 compared to what you are use to there. The nutella and pistachio cornetto were very good. The filling was good for those. Presentation was 7/10. The Sfogliatelle was sad. This is usually more crispy on the outside and filled on the inside. The prices are fair what what you can get here in America. The staff was very kind and friendly and checked on our questions.

Met the owner's son Luis who was very friendly and engaging. His family is truly authentic Italians from Genoa. I love their Italian language and culture. Their cafe is so charming and welcoming. Love the interior colors. Very quaint! Carolina made my cappuccino and the butter cookies were delicious. They have lots of amazing cookies, Italian desserts, and eventually, as the weather gets warmer, they will offer different flavors of gelato. Definitely my kind of ice cream!!! Stop by this cafe bakery and relax for a bit and enjoy a cup of espresso or cappuccino and their savory desserts. Reminds me a lot of being in Italy!!! I'll be back!!

Searching for a breakfast/coffee treat while visiting Greenville for the day, we came a cross the rave reviews of Dolce Italy. Knew immediately this is where we would stop and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Quaint little establishment with delicious authentic Italian pastries. Truly the best sfogliatelle I've ever tasted. Delicious coffee too! Very friendly staf and helpful with descriptions of choices offered. After our savory Ham & Cheese pastry, we endulged in pastries and coffee. Tried the Espresso Mocha, was fabulous... strong yet delicious! We enjoyed so much, we returned hours later before our trek back to Charlotte for a taste of gelato and a carry home tiramisu. Gelato was refreshingly perfect! Can't wait to visit again next time we're in Greenville.

Honestly, I have been forever CHANGED after my first Dolce Italy experience! I absolutely love it here. Sweetest family and sweetest treats. I had bites of the gelato, a magic horn, profitterol, and a ricotta cannoli. Everything is very reasonably priced and you can even sit outside while enjoying your gelato or pastry. They are currently only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, but they will likely expand their hours after the summer. They have a savory pastry case as well that includes cipollina, arancini, and more. Never mind the coffee drinks and cookies?! Woof. I am still thinking of Dolce Italy days later. While I absolutely love all the Italian bakeries in town, it will be hard to go anywhere else - just because the variety and freshness is truly unmatched. The staff recommended the magic horns as a must try and it is easy to see why. SO light and flaky with a cream that will make you swoon. Please go support this amazing family business! They are conveniently located in the same plaza as Lucano's right across from Wegs. Grab some treats today and thank me later!

Sweet Baby Jesus you gotta try this place.. the ancestors implore you to visit. Here's the deal for the short term they have abbreviated hours due to staffing and their daughter had major surgery. So don't get all annoyed.. check their website and social media channels or call to get updated hours. I went in a Friday they open at 10 am. It's across the street from The East Ave Wegmans in the strip mall with Canaltown Coffee and Restaurante Luccano in the same strip mall. This dear reader is a tiny store front.. maybe two people inside tops as in customers.. it's that small. They make everything themselves no joke.. the focaccia, gelato, Arincini, pastries. You can order coffee drinks to have at the little table outside like the little Nonna's who were sitting there when I came in or to go. This is a family spot meaning the family is working at the shop and they make the things. Have you ever seen in Netflix "Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat" well one episode with Samrin she makes focaccia with and they way it's made is how this stuff tastes..Focaccia should be perfectly oily with that olive oil and salty and soft and easy to eat. Yea this is it.. they had just put out fresh stuff I got the olive and they had a white one with onions as well. I also picked up an Arincini ball many versions but I got the original with Arborio Rice, Cheese (usually Mozzarella but depends on the cook) a meat sauce and peas.. it was scrumptious. Just all perfectly seasoned and fried and oh my.. they also had a veggie version as well. As for Dolce (meaning sweet) I got the cream horn and the Nutella Croissant. Lordy this stuff is fabulous just.. silky smooth fillings, tasty pastry.. just yummy. They make their own gelato but I will have to come back for it... no I will be back for it and everything else! Listen I've been to most of the spots around here they are good.. seriously I've tried other places in major cities and I've been to Italy. This is as close as you can come to the real deal without an airplane ride. Just give them a go you will be glad you did.. To remember: Abbreviated hours for the short term It's across from East Ave Wegmans They share a strip mall parking lot. ILL BE BACK! Ciao Bella!

I got a cannoli, lobster tail and croissant and it was absolutely amazing!! Very light and tasty. Such friendly staff I will absolutely be coming back to try the coffee.

Cannoli delicious, apricot mini tart cookie delicious, almond cookie w cherry delicious. I didn'teat the cuccidati cause there were walnuts in them but I hear they were good. I'm excited to go back and sad I hadn't gone earlier

This sweet Italian bakery is a must stop every time we come to Greenville. We throughly enjoy all their pastries and gelato. We tried the lasagna on this trip and it was the best we ever had. Definitely will be back.

We were seated on the terrace by the door, which was less than desirable but still good. The chair I was in was awfully uncomfortable, but the benches were suitable. For food, we ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts, Earl Grey tea bread, chicken tamales, berry French toast, mushroom bruschetta and fried oysters. The Brussels were good and perfectly cooked. The Earl Grey tea bread was good, but too sweet for me (not a sweets person). My friends ordered the chicken tamales and berry French toast, respectively, and enjoyed their meal. For me, the menu didn't have anything that caught my eye, so I made a meal of the small plates. I love mushrooms, but I felt that the mushrooms in the bruschetta needed to be chopped. Their meaty texture and large pieces made it less than desirable, even though the flavor was good. The oysters were well-cooked and served in an ample portion, but with cocktail sauce rather than aioli. When asked, she brought me the paprika aioli that's on the Brussels sprouts. Still, I think a lemon-and-herb aioli or a lemon-and-horseradish aioli would have been more appropriate for a fresh brightness to cut through the breading. It was almost a good meal, but oftentimes the devil is in the details.

I was hungry and didn't know what or where to eat, not like there is a lack of options, but did I want ramen or something more local in regional flare? I picked the second one. I ended up at Tupelo Honey because fresh southern fried chicken sounded amazing and this place wasn't going to break the bank. I guess this place is a chain but I didn't know this until I was eating. The staff were beyond friendly and attentive and they answered all of my questions about the food. The restaurant was super clean. I ended up ordering the half bird with original seasoning on it. The seasoning the put on it is a crystallized honey power and something else in it, it gives the chicken a nice sweet flavor but not overpowering. They also have a spicy version for you spice lovers. The half bird came with 4 pieces as one would expect, the crust was crispy and the chicken was awesome. I was eating the dark meat and couldn't get over how juicy it was. The real test as you all know is the breast, is that going to be dry? Nope, it was so moist and flavorful, it was a home run. I guess they brine their chicken for some good amount of time and it shows. My sides though I wish I would have gotten more adventurous, the meal came with two sides so I got a salad and the fried potatoes as a recommendation from the waitress. They were good but the mac n cheese looked better. Overall this place is great and I would go again. It's right downtown and the service was fast and friendly. Great place for some fried chicken .

If you would prefer not to hear the street sounds you may want to request a room on a higher floor.

The property was very impressively decorated for Christmas!! I loved how the large, two story Christmas Tree was in the main lobby and extended to the mezzanine level and they decorated it so very nicely! I also noticed the garland inside and wreaths outside. The whole property was nicely kept up to shape as well, so regardless of seasonal décor, I'm sure it's a beautiful place any time of year! This property has a restaurant onsite, Spoon Bread is what it's called. They also have the Piano Lounge. The Piano Lounge has a bar, which is a nice (and clearly popular) place to hang out and meet prior to leaving the property for dinner. Also a nice place to gather for that after dinner night cap with co-workers. Sleep quality was decent. HVAC in the room was nice and quiet... the worst part of the room was the bathroom, which I hated because you can't open the door and use the shower, because the door opens into the tub. They need to replace the door with barn style or pocket doors, like other properties have. Only other issue was the valet. I tipped a dollar on one drop off one day and the valet gave it back. I've never had that happen before. So, a dollar isn't enough and you prefer nothing at all? Noted! Overall, the stay was nice, but next time I'm in town, I'll try the AC across the street - It's looked way more festive outside and it's worth a try.
