    Horchata freshly made
    Daniel M.

Stopped by here on a vacation and so glad I tried it. The burrito was great value but made so well. The horchata was delicious and I regret not getting one for the road. I'm definitely routing though here next time I go!

This burrito is huge and tasty . So good Carne asada

I've been here twice already and I've had good experiences both times. This place is hard to find because it's not close to the sidewalk you have to drive in to the lot. The duo in the front is awesome they're so nice greet you with a smile. The carne asada is so tasty and the Birria burrito is good. I asked for consume with it. Definitely coming back for more when I'm in the area.

Came for lunch with my wife and place was very empty only two other people in here. The space is very big and open. The menu has enough options that you're guaranteed to find something you'd like. The pastor meat was delicious with good flavor and the lengua wasn't overcooked! The salsas are delicious but there is one that definitely has a kick so beware if you're not into spicy food. Sensory level at this place was a 1 but this is during lunch time.

I love this restaurant! The food is so delicious that I always feel obligated to leave a review because more people need to know about it. The service was great and fast. I ordered the birria burrito with chips and both types of salsa. The chef also included a cup of consommé to dunk my burrito in. Really fantastic stuff. If you like authentic burritos this is the place to go. You will not find burritos like this at chipotle.

    Veggie burrito

I got the veggie burrito that was delicious. He got the carne asada burrito that he loved. She got chicken enchiladas that were great. The staff were great! We will definitely be back

Came here to try out their burritos since this place was in the neighborhood. Food - my fiancé and I ended up ordering one of their breakfast burritos, an asada burrito, and tacos al pastor. Overall, the value you get for the burritos is awesome! The burritos are BIG and relatively cheap compared to many places. For breakfast burritos, you can choose from a couple different meats, but we decided to get a burrito with both chorizo and bacon for an additional cost. Even then, the burrito came out to less than $11! The taste of the breakfast burrito was pretty good and the portion is very filling. However, the burritos have TOO much potato, which throws off the proportions and it's easy to get overwhelmed with the potato taste. My advice is to ask to go light on the potatoes or skip them all together. The asada burrito was also really big and comes with rice and beans. The meat itself is good, has a nice seared taste, but could benefit from additional seasoning. The same goes for the rice and beans. The al pastor tacos were probably my favorite part of our order. The meat was cooked well and it was pretty good. I'll likely be getting more of this next time. Service - service was very friendly and I really like that it's a family owned business. There were only three people working there when we arrived, with only one cook, so it took a little while to get our order. However, we didn't mind the wait too much because it's a smaller restaurant and they were working hard to fulfill all the orders while doing the best job they could. We appreciate that! They also had great music playing, so that helped pass the time quickly. Location - the inside of the restaurant is very spacious and reminds me of many of the restaurants I've visited in Mexico. Definitely nothing fancy but functional. Giving this place a 4/5 because they are customer service focused and you can't beat the value of those burritos!

Can't believe he lets another taco truck use his space out front, his food is so good! Super cool guy and tasty food. The Al Pastor burrito is great. Birria is killer too. Tons of space inside and does catering and large events too.

Been wanting to try here for a long time and finally did. We order 3 pastor tacos, enchiladas, and a chicken burrito. Came out to $29..57....a bit pricey. The pastor tacos were super fire! The red and green salsas were good, green wasn't spicy but really good flavor. The enchiladas were really fire, I loved how they were put on the flattop to crisp-up. Really nice touch there. But the beans were sad. The burrito was a really big size- didn't get a pic :( The chicken in the burrito was really Smokey and gave me a bbq'd at home vibe. Definitely will be back, but I'm not a fan of the price, or the fact it doesn't have them listed anywhere(that I saw). My receipt didn't have them either.

Recently, I was at the Rubicon Theatre and needed lunch after a show. This location is located within walking distance of the Rubicon and is usually so busy each time I come! My marker of a good place to eat is usually on how busy they are. :) This recent visit I had a torta (my first, didn't catch the name) and it was outstanding! The meat was fresh and hot and the bun was flavorful! I did note that on my next visit here I want to try the Hawaiian (?) torta! Can't wait to be back! The service is always great each time. I've thought about returning several times over the course of the last year, but never did until tonight. Turns out nothing has changed, still good food, still loud AF. This time I had a Taco al Pastor. It was excellent, with soft, flavorful meat topped with onions, cilantro and a slice of pina. My wife had a Fish taco, which was impressively large. I suspect that fish taco was every bit as excellent as my pastor taco because my wife didn't offer me a bite, as she usually does. We had been talking nonstop since we sat down, but when the tacos arrived the conversation ended. All I could think was, damn, I gotta finish this taco before she asks me for a bite. I imagine she was thinking the same thing. What I didn't have to worry about was sharing the guacamole and tortilla chips. The serving size of the guacamole is easily enough for two people. And the tortilla chips, same generous serving size. The chips are good too, not the boring chips one encounters all too frequently at other places. I was also impressed by the Horchata here. Way above average. Creamy and rich AF. If you aren't having a beer, you definitely should check out the Horchata. And dog, they've got all kinds of beers up in here! I mean, yeah, cold local beers and even happy hour discounts! Gaw! So, yeah, I love this place. I just wish it wasn't so freaking loud. Maybe next time I visit I'll wear my noise cancelling headphones. Mikey C says: if it's too loud, you're too old. True dat.

First off, the parking here is a nightmare. I literally got boxed in and had to ask someone to move their car so I could back out. Secondly, me and my coworker stop here at 11:30am for an early lunch. There is literally 1 other person there who had already ordered and got their meal just as me and my coworker sit down after ordering. We ordered 7 tacos in total... 30 minutes later the food still hadn't arrived. I finally go up to the counter to see if something was wrong and the guy had no idea about our order and said he was sorry that they had a big catering order. As a former business owner I do understand that stuff happens and a large catering order is good for business but ultimately that isn't the customers problem. Especially the customer that is sitting there at your establishment. Rather than tell us while we were ordering that it might take longer than normal, they don't communicate anything and then don't even address the issue until I go up there to complain. Once that happened the tacos came out in less than 5 minutes which is even more upsetting since this is how fast they should have come out to begin with. The gentleman who I think was an owner did apologize and try to offer some free drinks which I politely declined as I knew I'd never be back again. I hope that this business learns to service the customers properly that are actually dining there and if there is an issue at least takes some initiative to address it on the front side. Most working class people only get a 30-45 minute lunch to begin with so it wasn't cool that we literally wasted 30 minutes just sitting there with no explanation. There are plenty of other good places around Ventura for lunch - especially for tacos. Won't be going back here ever.
