This cute bakery is right around the corner from my aunt's house so she brought us here for breakfast and pastries and I lost my flipping mind!!
First of all, everything is baked fresh daily, many things sell out, nothing is stale and old, and the warmth and freshness of the pastries is like a warm hug from a loving, chubby grandma.
My kids and I ordered jamon y queso (ham and cheese) sandwiches, toasted. It's just like how I remember them when I was a kid. (First time bringing my kids home to Puerto Rico)
The tornillos were by far our favorite, light flaky pastry with a yummy sweet custard in the middle! And their quesitos (sweet fully sweet bread with sweet cream cheese in the middle) uggghhhh, so freaking amazing!!
The service was good, the pastries were given to us right away but the sandwiches took kind of long to come out. Everything was super clean and really cute decor. This is definitely going to be my breakfast spot whenever I visit home! read more
