This place is a gem. First off all the food is amazing and fresh but there is something about the bread here that is unmatched. Its soooooooooooo good!! Bakery eats are great and so are breakfast and lunch options. Be sure not to leave without trying the empanadas. The service is quick and efficient. Pro tip: Not much English is spoken here but you can get by.

    Great place

Best bread ever. The cuban sandwiches are amazing! If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go to!

    Empanadas :(

Came for the famous pan sabao. I remember having them when I young in NYC bodega sandwiches so I was excited to try it right from the source in PR.We heard Lemy was voted the best bakery on the island. The sabao: It was very good. I personally enjoyed it because it reminds me of Jamaican coco bread. Some may not like how sweet, dense and doughy it is. The texture is almost like it's intentionally undercooked. The empanadas: Probably the worst I've had in my life. But they're not too bad if you're starving, it's just that I am used to much better empanadas. The beef and chicken fillings were super dry and there wasn't much meat. After two bites you've gotten through the meat, and you're left to eat just the empanada crust which has no seasoning. We didn't get to try any of the beautiful pastries.

    Empanada, two donuts.

This was walking distance from our air bnb. They didn't really greet us walking in nor did they speak any English which wasn't their fault. But the empanadas were amazing, one of the donuts were hard but delicious and the other was super soft. You did need a mask to enter as well. Definitely stopping by for another empanada.

they have 2 locations now, but I have always go to the one in levittown.

Let me start by saying that I always get my bread here when I come for vacations. I personally order to go because It is a really busy place and I dont like eating with people standing waiting for their food, but it is worth it. My mom loves it. My husband loves their sorullitos, I dont really but my main thing is the bread. That's what I always come for. Oh! And their coffee is great too! Just to let you know: -Is in a corner and there is not too much parking spots. -There is an entrance only and an exit only doors, I like that but hate it at the same time. -When you order something simple like bread & sorullitos you are in and out but if you order something like a sandwich is gonna take a few minutes. More than I will like to wait.

So nice; we had it twice! Our local friend told us about Lemy's sweet bread. The bread that somehow stays soft for days on end--I guess it's really well-known for it! It's sweet, and is very similar to King's Hawaiian bread but moister. When we met up with a local friend, he even had a few loaves for us to enjoy for the car ride. Who needs Kind bars when you can have this instead? Savory food like empandillas run out in the evening so get there earlier in the day. When we went back a second time, I had the chicken empandilla (empanada) which was pretty good, and a decent-size. Unfortunately, I tried their relleno, which I figured would be a vegetarian softball of potatoiness but I was wrong in that there was a mystery meat in it that tasted...fishy. Coffee drinkers rejoice! You can get an actual big cup of coffee here (16 oz) instead of the leprechaun serving common in PR. I find it funny that on a green lush island, every to-go beverage is served in styrofoam cups: where does all the styrofoam go?? If you don't specify how you want your coffee, it will come our Puertorrian-style, which is shots of coffee with a ton of milk. We tested that bread too. Day 2 1/2 and the bread was as soft as a baby's bum ;)

You can sit in there , nice AC too

Very good bakery and there are having Puerto Rican lunch there too. The cake and other bakery looked awesome, I would have board them all. You can even find fresh donuts too. Serving coffee too. If you like you can sit right there and have your coffee and cake. Beach is like 2 min in car. It's very friendly and clean.

It's a go too for us while we stay in Bayamon. Bread is the best in the island! My family is always asking me to bring back.

They have a parking lot for about 5-6 cars. When we walked in, I noticed the art around the walls, and read some of the quotes. The menu has a variety of items, mostly your typical mainland American breakfast like parfaits, oatmeal, waffles/pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, avocado toast, omelettes, sandwiches, and other things. It appears they also have some lunch items. I mostly wanted a drink, and was instantly drawn to the matcha latte. I think the iced one only comes in the 12oz cup because after ordering I realized I did not specify the size and I got the bigger one. It is $1.50 more for whipped cream which is a bit steep, but it was good and also a lot of it. The color (green) was a bit lighter than what I am used to, but that allowed for it to be creamier. I am not sure if they use real matcha or a syrup that it matcha flavor but the matcha was very subtle. Nonetheless, it was very good, especially after mixing in the whipped cream. The service was really good and quick, and our waitress was very kind. They speak both English and Spanish. My friends ordered lattes, the oatmeal, the parfait, and pancakes with eggs/bacon on the side. They were all also satisfied with their food.

I started with a hot latte. It was delicious. Creamy milk and nice coffee flavor. For breakfast, I chose the traditional French toast which came with fruit and a huge dollop of whipped cream and maple syrup on the side. I scooted the whipped cream to the side but enjoyed the cinnamon flavored egg bread with fresh fruit. We asked our server about interesting places to visit while we walked around San Juan. She was fabulous. Really went over and above to give us walking ideas, get our food to us, and make our visit feel so welcoming. We loved this place.

We couldn't choose amongst all the empty tables, because staff were rude and dismissive. AC wasn't working, so we felt the humidity and heat. Ceiling fans weren't cutting it. We got the $25 wagyu burger and $20 Mallorca chicken sandwich, both of which were dry, bland, and underwhelming at best. The burger patty lacked flavor and there was no sauce or any accompaniments besides a very sad, wilted, thin slice of tomato and lettuce leaf. Pretty bad burger! The chicken sandwich was so heavily fried, we almost broke our teeth against the chicken. Insanely salty--we couldn't take more than a few bites. Felt so parched for the rest of the day. Fries were the best part of the meal--so salty and thin.
