The brownie cheesecake was extremely sweet, followed by the coffee cheesecake. The Almond one was by far the best, the pastry was flaky and the dulce the Leche was really good. The desserts were a bit pricey. If the desserts were out of this world I would completely understand but that was not the case. Also, $1.50 for a water bootle is ridiculous. The hot chocolate was actually really good. I left feeling like I might go into sugar shock. Definitely share to lower the risk of a sugar overdose. It was nice to try it but I would most likely not be back.

The owner & operator Carmen is a very nice lady and offers friendly customer service. She offers fruit smoothies & frappes made-to-order. She also sells ginger lemonade and guanabana juice. I like that she uses FRESH fruit, not frozen fruit. She also sells hummus and guava with cheese, a local Puerto Rican dish. I go there for the Frozen Bananas though. She takes a frozen banana, dips it in milk chocolate, and you can choose the toppings of sprinkles, almonds or coconut flakes. It's the perfect treat for anyone who has a sweet tooth, like me. It really hits the spot, and it's way cheaper than an ice cream ($7 for Ben & Jerry's or Cold Stone-- that's ridiculous!! I'd rather buy my discounted movie ticket for ladies at Plaza Las Americas/Plaza Del Sol on Wednesdays with that money). You can tell people come here for the coffee, not just to pass through. It leans more intentional and coffee-focused rather than just aesthetic--which I appreciated. FOOD / DRINKS Coquito Frap (Recommend) When in Puerto Rico, Coquito. Creamy, coconut-forward, and lightly spiced--like a frozen coquito with a coffee twist. Sweet, smooth, and definitely more of a dessert drink than a regular latte. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Even with a crowd, things moved quickly. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Solid spot. We loved it so much we actually went twice during our trip - and even made a final stop before heading to the airport to go home. On our first visit, Hector (the roaster) happened to be there, which made the experience feel even more special. The staff overall were all so kind and attentive. The coffee is absolutely excellent - velvety smooth, rich, and delicious. I could easily drink more than one cup. I had a latte, and my husband had a macchiato, and both were great. They have a cute little outdoor atrium seating area, but we preferred indoors where all the comfy pillow seating was. Just a note - they don't offer decaf - but for regular coffee drinkers, it's a must-visit. Such a gem in Old San Juan!
