We went in for a quick breakfast and the first thing we notice was the sweet smell of bread. They greeted us properly and seated us quickly. Our waitress was helpful when describing the menu and the food came out at a decent rate. Our coffee were good as well. We just a had a simple cafe con leche but was very good. The omelet was good but the only thing that was missing was the hot sauce but that may just be my Mexican heritage talking lol. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend this place to others oh the best part the prices were fairly reasonable. read more

Food took 45 minutes to make with few in the restaurant. It was only two sandwiches and an omelette. The staff was all joking around, ignoring, eating while at the register, being unsanitary blowing their nose and then cleaning without washing hands. When asking about the food we kept getting told it was the next one out but then it never came with no reasons why. Staff began avoiding and laughing at how bad their kitchen was. The mallorca bread is delicious and so are their pastries. This is the bread they use for their sandwiches. This is a place to go for a quick breakfast or sandwich. You must try their baked goods. Their menu is not huge. You can sit down and sign or take to go. Staff is friendly. read more

The restaurant looks nice throughout. We waited about 25 min to be seated for brunch. It was a bit loud with the. Lose of music and a fan. The waiter, stood at the end of two tables welder we were seated (6people) with a soft voice. I had to ask for him to repeat himself because I couldn't hear him. I raised my voice to speak over the noise and clarify that he was understanding while he was taking our order. When the order finally came out three of them were wrong. They have two items in the menu with the same name. We ordered the breakfast and he brought our sandwiches. It appears that table next to us may have gotten our order because they turned away their breakfast and their waiter ended up giving them something from the bakery as a gift. Their waiter was a different person. So two big errors in the same span of time. We ate the sandwiches because it's a slow restaurant and we were pressed for time. The service is slow and inappropriate for the white noise environment. The waiter blamed the error on the staff thigh he admitted he pressed the wrong item when he placed the order. The food was good, but service is really important to me and that's where the 3 comes in. I would recommend for the food but be prepared for the wait and make sure you clarify and repeat your order before your wait staff leaves. read more

Where to start. They have this weird concept where you can have the "almost fast" with dirty small tables separated with a fake wall from the "really slow" with more space. The food is like you would have in an old cafeteria with canned cheap ham. We asked for dark coffee. When we received the coffee it was like if we didn't specify anything. Caldo gallego is a sausage soup, the plantain soup tastes like a plantain cream with raw onions. You almost cant feel the taste of the plantain. My husband and I were very disappointed. Location has lots of potential but the concept is sadly not what we expected. read more

Came in with a party of 12, took them almost an hour to seat us. Once seated we gave our order fast since we waited so long to be seated we knew what we wanted. Food took another 30/45 mins to get and worst of all my daughter didn't get her pancakes until after everyone ate and was ready to go by that time we been waiting for an hour for her food. You'd think pancake shouldn't take that long - every time we asked for her food they kept saying they made them fresh, which is fine but how did everything else come out before that. Now THIS is a sandwich. From great service to a clean environment and great food, we had a wonderful time at Al Pan Pan. Our driver recommended this place to us on the way from the airport so we knew we had to give it a shot and WOW we were not disappointed. The steak in the sandwich was so tender and the flavors were unreal. They make their own bread and the sandwich was so filling that my dad and I could each only eat half of it and had to take the rest home. The staff were super nice too. They answered all our questions and we had great banter with them. We also tried the honey/cheese pastry and the ham/cheese croquette. Both were decent! I probably wouldn't get either again and would opt for sandwiches instead. Would definitely come back here! read more

Ordered 4 cubanos to go for the family. You get one slice of ham, three small pieces of pork, and so much mayo on a huge piece of bread. I ended up combining both halves into one for a semi competent sandwich. It's essentially bread with a side of mayo and warmed cold cuts. It gets an extra star since the bread was delicious though. I've been to this restaurant/bakery twice and the experience gets worse every time. First time I went and had a Cuban sandwich which was good but I ordered a cappuccino and it nice presented with a giant swirl of whipped cream and cinnamon. My wife's hot chocolate absent the whipped cream. I gave my wife the whipped cream and when we asked the waitress it was simply that's the way it comes. Service is unbelievable bad. Since the sandwich was good I tried again. There was only two tables eating in the restaurant it took 15 minutes before the waitress came. I put in my order moving i with creole (red local sauce) chicken and 30 minutes later my order came out in garlic sauce. The waitress frantic said she had put the order in right and it was the kitchen's fault. So I said I could not wait for it to be made properly but I'd take two soups to go. She said the kitchen would fix it and it would be right out to please wait. I got my dish back which was my original garlic chicken now very over cooked with red sauce. I could not eat the chicken. My soups arrived a caldo gallego absent the white beans but with red kidney beans. I asked for the bill and asked why I was charged for the chicken and the answer was because I ordered it. Quite the ordeal. Steer clear of this MESS! read more
