We found this place on Yelp and wanted to try it out. I highly recommend it. The service was great and so was the food. I really enjoyed the coffee as well and the prices were really reasonable.

This little place in up and coming Levittown is gem in the rough. The service was spot on! Not very common. But they were exceptional in accommodating a small change to a fruit plate and really fast even when incredibly busy. This is definitely a local place. Glad we found it!

    Cornbread French Toast!

Small establishment, but big on taste. We were looking for a lunch spot and this was a great fine. Joanna greeted us and was very friendly, approachable, helpful and genuinely kind. We had the salmon and potato dish, and the cornbread French toast OMG the French Toast was SO GOOD!

Super cute little place! Capuccino tastes great! They have a food meny as well that I didn't look at just because I'm here for coffee. I'm sure it is good. Stop by!

Wow!! So glad we found this Gem of a place while driving from Dorado to San Juan. Food is Delicious, Atmosphere is very chill and relaxed, Service is outstanding. Must Try!! Highly

Great place it has excellent coffee and the food is delicious:). The pancakes were light and fluffy. This is by far the best breakfast I've had in Puerto Rico. Great place to take friends or just relax with coffee.

Found this place since my family went early to go eat breakfast and loved it so of course I had to follow suit before they closed since they're more of a breakfast/brunch place. The Cornbread French toast were to die for honestly. Best thing I've ever thought about randomly trying. We eat both of them all the time so to put it together was absolutely amazing. My bf got the waffles and they looked amazing as well. They had such a good crutch. Literally this place is so damn cute. Have to come if you're in the area!

Avocado toast :) , it was one of the best avocado toast I have eaten. The Service here is very friendly as well, I recommend this cafe . 3

This little cafe is so good and the service is very good as well. I recommend stoping by for breakfast or lunch when in Puerto Rico. :D

So I've been going to place since I've been in PR and I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the food, service, ambiance and the entire vibe. I could literally sit there for hours on end. When you walk in there's books to read, games to play, and beyond amazing food to eat. This is definitely my new go to breakfast spot whenever I'm in PR. I highly recommend anything on the menu, but especially the French toast...its the best I've ever had in my life! And omg the coffee...Puerto Rico definitely has some of the best coffee...I could on and on about this place BUT you just gotta try it for yourself....its heaven!

They have a parking lot for about 5-6 cars. When we walked in, I noticed the art around the walls, and read some of the quotes. The menu has a variety of items, mostly your typical mainland American breakfast like parfaits, oatmeal, waffles/pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, avocado toast, omelettes, sandwiches, and other things. It appears they also have some lunch items. I mostly wanted a drink, and was instantly drawn to the matcha latte. I think the iced one only comes in the 12oz cup because after ordering I realized I did not specify the size and I got the bigger one. It is $1.50 more for whipped cream which is a bit steep, but it was good and also a lot of it. The color (green) was a bit lighter than what I am used to, but that allowed for it to be creamier. I am not sure if they use real matcha or a syrup that it matcha flavor but the matcha was very subtle. Nonetheless, it was very good, especially after mixing in the whipped cream. The service was really good and quick, and our waitress was very kind. They speak both English and Spanish. My friends ordered lattes, the oatmeal, the parfait, and pancakes with eggs/bacon on the side. They were all also satisfied with their food.

AMBIANCE Parking: Old San Juan rules--come early or be ready to walk. Seating: Multiple seating areas for individuals and small groups but it's also a cafe too so there is seating in the back too. Vibes: Clean, modern café with a mix of locals and tourists. You can tell people come here for the coffee, not just to pass through. It leans more intentional and coffee-focused rather than just aesthetic--which I appreciated. FOOD / DRINKS Coquito Frap (Recommend) When in Puerto Rico, Coquito. Creamy, coconut-forward, and lightly spiced--like a frozen coquito with a coffee twist. Sweet, smooth, and definitely more of a dessert drink than a regular latte. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Even with a crowd, things moved quickly. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Solid spot. Great drink options at a reasonable price. They know what they're doing. Whether you're a coffee person or just need a reset, this place delivers. Salute to the Munoz family for sharing their coffee to the world! TIPS * Try their house coffee if you want the full experience--that's what they're known for.

We loved it so much we actually went twice during our trip - and even made a final stop before heading to the airport to go home. On our first visit, Hector (the roaster) happened to be there, which made the experience feel even more special. The staff overall were all so kind and attentive. The coffee is absolutely excellent - velvety smooth, rich, and delicious. I could easily drink more than one cup. I had a latte, and my husband had a macchiato, and both were great. They have a cute little outdoor atrium seating area, but we preferred indoors where all the comfy pillow seating was. Just a note - they don't offer decaf - but for regular coffee drinkers, it's a must-visit. Such a gem in Old San Juan!

If you're on Calle San Francisco and the Coach store is to your right, keep walking till you see a yellow chemex sign on your left - that is the entrance to the coffee shop. Once you enter, it's a very tight space at the register and the alley is in the back with a few tables. The only menu I was able to peruse was that on their iPad which was annoying because I felt like I was holding up the line. I ended up ordering a small iced latte. I initially ordered it to enjoy in their alley, so I was told I can pay when I leave. I was there mid September and as much as I wanted to enjoy sipping my latte in the alley, it was super hot and stuffy. They could use some fans. Plus, it was taking forever to have the latte brought to me. As such, I went to the front to let the staff know I'll take it to go only to find him giggling with some friends. I guess that's why it took forever for me to get my drink. The latte itself wasn't bad, but considering the cost and the useless wait time, I would've gladly passed on this coffee shop.

We were welcomed inside where we ordered with an iPad. There were several options for drinks and pastries. The service was incredible; the barista helped us choose drinks and recommended us her favorite pastries. We were then escorted to the beautiful patio in the back, which is completely hidden from view on the street. The drinks were delivered to us in glass cups, and the pastries delivered covered by glass dome lids. The drinks and pastries were all 10/10. I am usually not a an iced coffee drinker, but I savored every sip of my drink. The mango pie and pecan tart were also delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Filtrado as a relaxing stop in Viejo San Juan. The service, drink, and ambiance were spectacular and I can confidently say that this is near the top of my cafe list!
