The food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their warm meal. The drink, breakfast, and lunch options are extensive and unique. I really enjoyed my steak quesadillas with guava sauce, side salad, and iced coffee. I tried my friend's hot lavender coffee and it was very good. Portion sizes are great for the price! It is $1.50 more for whipped cream which is a bit steep, but it was good and also a lot of it. The color (green) was a bit lighter than what I am used to, but that allowed for it to be creamier. I am not sure if they use real matcha or a syrup that it matcha flavor but the matcha was very subtle. Nonetheless, it was very good, especially after mixing in the whipped cream. The service was really good and quick, and our waitress was very kind. They speak both English and Spanish. It's a proper brunch restaurant, one where you sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment. The only drawback? Parking. It's limited, though we were lucky to find a spot on the two occasions that we have visited. Final Thoughts If you're in a hurry and want something quick, Sobao is your go-to. For a leisurely brunch that feels like home, Buen Vecino Cafe is the clear winner -- great food, excellent service, and a touch of nostalgia. Sadly, Latte Factory doesn't make the cut.
