There's truly nothing better than a yoga class at Sky and taking in that gorgeous view of the lake, no matter the season. I came to Sky 3 years ago petrified that I'd make a total embarrassment of myself as I had never attempted yoga, but they were so helpful and welcoming that I instantly fell in love with yoga, and despite all of the studios around the country I've now frequented, Sky will always be my favorite and hold a special place in my heart. Their instructors are absolutely amazing; Courtney weaves her passion and love for the business into every thing she does, it's palpable. The community of classmates are always so friendly and warm; it's the closest thing I presently have to my own little community and I always look forward to connecting with them. There's always something new and fresh to look forward to in addition to the perfect weekly schedule which is created to have something for everyone of any skill level. Presently during COVID they have a really great system in place for streaming, special classes and more, though I'll always prefer the in-studio experience (which is open and very clean!) I can't wait until Covid passes and we can go back to the full classes full of love and light, I look forward to the little things they do to make every class special (essential oils, lighting, amazing music). Sky is so incredible that they're worth a special trip to Skaneateles, but especially if you're in the area, on vacation, or on the lake, stop in for a soul-changing experience!

I have been doing yoga with Linda now for months and it is wonderful. Her calming voice leads me through an hours of breathing, meditation, and good work for my muscles and joint. Linda's class is the best way for me to start the morning. And, importantly, on zoom her clear instruction makes the session especially valuable. Her website is clear and easy to use and buying a package of ten is not only simple but an affordable way to commit to the practice and forget about a weekly fee. Awesome climbing gym! I try out a bunch of climbing gyms when I travel, and this is definitely one…read moreof the best I've been to (definitely NOT a questionable DIY situation, which I've seen a lot of). This gym has two floors of climbing with shorter belay/free climb and bouldering on the bottom floor and extra tall belay/free climb on the second floor. There's a variety of different difficulty levels which makes this place great for beginners and more advanced climbers alike, with plenty of auto-belays for the shy solo climber. They have leagues and classes for adults and children, so it's also friendly for all ages. In addition to climbing, they also have a yoga studio, weight room, and various fitness classes available, so you could definitely make this place your primary gym, if you like. I live about an hour away, so I haven't tried them (I usually spend my time here climbing). But the facilities look pretty nice! They do sell some merch including chalk bags and apparel, but not climbing shoes. I'd recommend borrowing shoes for your first trip (and bring an extra pair of socks to change into before you put your shoes back on!) so you can figure out your size and then order something comparable online. Because unfortunately, there isn't a place in the broader CNY area that sells climbing shoes that I'm aware of. The staff are very friendly and helpful whether it's the instructors for the belaying classes or the general front desk staff. Been going here off an on for a couple years (live a bit too far away to be a regular member) and I love it! Wish they'd open one in Binghamton.
