Incredible sandwiches!! I try to stop in from time to time. Would definitely recommend!!read more

A deli ,a shop , very local and a bit on the honor system where you get a bag and write down what you want on a sandwich to eat ,pick a drink and sit and enjoy. So 6 of us came in, found a table, got our orders into the box and waited for our names to be called. Only took five minutes or so, and each one of our orders was called and you go up and pick it up and head back to the table. Maybe pick up some cake , or anything else you desire but I got a turkey Panini with everything on it and it was super !!! a side of potato salad, and some chips for some reason and I was stuffed. The kids ate well., and we even bought some lasagnas and a chicken casserole to take home for my daughter to eat with her family tonight and tomorrow so she didn't have to cook. This place was packed today the day before Christmas Christmas Eve., everyone looked happy, the staff was very pleasant and very efficient , and the shelves were lined with candies and chips or spices. I actually didn't have time to look at all the options, but what a great market and place to enjoy with the kids and family.. We were able to get the kids fed, cleaned up their mess and checked out with tons to go. They go to place. I hear in town and it was fantastic. Highly recommend.!!!

I got the Italian and it as delicious. It was loaded with meat, cheese and veggies. The bread, which is just as important was fresh. A definite stop again next time I'm in Spartanburg.

It's difficult to find a sub shop that isn't your usual corporate and franchise everything has to…read morebe a specific way blah blah blah very little meat kinda place, which most are. So it's good to see such a shop hidden away in this little plaza in Spartanburg. They don't skimp out on meat like everywhere else (my blood actually boils at subway when they pull out those ridiculous little proportioned tiny pieces of meat slithered between two dime bags) which is great, I mean just look at those portions. That is what I expect when paying good money for a sub. They're above average, have good service, excellent ambiance with their own personality to it but why not the fifth star? Because it's best getting your order to go. There is no bathroom inside for patrons. That is something I never forgive because if it's true that there is no bathroom then you're forcing your employees to have to walk to the closest one and if there is a bathroom then why can't paying customers who keep you in business use it? I'm not gonna sit down and halfway through a meal need to use the restroom and not be able to relieve myself, that's just crazy. Other than that I really have no other complaints that stand out. They're the perfect go to for your work lunch or dinner grab on the way home. Just don't dine in unless it's your #3 stop after #1 and #2, if you know what I mean...

This was my first time ever visiting Asheville, and somehow one of the places I'll remember most…read morefrom the trip is a sandwich shop/bodega. I stopped in my first day and got the LT sandwich, which was amazing, but I ended up spending almost as much time looking around the store as I did eating. They have everything from local mustards and honey to tinned fish, seasonings, and a whole section from a local creamery with ice cream, yogurt, smoothies, etc. Everything seems thoughtfully picked out and locally sourced when possible, without having the ridiculous prices you sometimes expect from a place like this. The staff was also amazing--genuinely friendly, helpful, and happy to talk about the food and everything they carry. I liked the place enough that, despite having an entire city of restaurants I'd never tried before, I came back the very next day. This time I got the grinder, which ended up being my favorite, along with the roast beef, which was also delicious. Between the sandwiches, the people, and the frankly ridiculous amount of good shit packed into the store, everything about this place was great. There are plenty of places I didn't get a chance to try while I was in Asheville, but I have absolutely no regrets using two lunches on this one. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Have a wonderful selection of locally sourced groceries (try the pot pies and the pimento!), their house made breads and sweets are insanely good, and they have really unique and top notch snacks & treats. The owners are the sweetest folks too--often the ones making and serving the food... you can tell a lot of heart goes into the business and your meal!
