If you're a local I think they're well worth having in your bagel rotation, but I don't think the quality is so stand out to make it a stop on a short out of town trip. Coffee Dog recently started selling a really good "Zombie Defense Serum" roast (dorky, kina funny name, but with an unfortunate AI art generated sticker)... It's delicious! Has a good acidity, it's fairly bright, and there's some fun notes in it. I wish I knew what day it was roasted (the 2 week carbon release rule), but I do think it was fresh and hadn't had the chance to release all of its carbon. I'd be interested to see what it tastes like in peak form. Give the ole Zombie Serum a try and support local. Even if they use AI art for their coffee bag designs...
