Initially, I thought the chicken breast would be about $2.50, but before placing the order our waiter came back and clarified that it would be about $5 and would come as strips instead of a full chicken breast. I appreciated him coming back to correct that. When the chicken came out, it was sliced into very thin pieces and was a little lukewarm. I mentioned it to the waiter, and he apologized and handled it professionally by removing it from the bill, which I appreciated. Overall, the food was okay, about a 3.5 out of 5 for me. The waffle was tasty, just as I remembered, and the potatoes were good as well. However, the chicken sausage patty wasn't very good. I personally didn't enjoy it and ended up leaving it on the plate. My husband ordered the pancake with pecans, scrambled eggs, and a side of grits with butter, and he enjoyed his meal. One thing I did like was that you can now pay your bill directly from your phone, which makes it really convenient when you're ready to go without waiting. I went with a boston cream, and I paid at the one window, then walked to my right to the other window to pick this up. Only downfall was that they put this in a baggie similar to what Starbucks uses so the icing on the top was pretty much stuck within that bag so I did what I could. Considering I'm not the biggest donut fan anymore (I swear this is a side effect of getting older), this was pretty good for what it was, and I'm happy I was finally able to try Tim Horton's.
