I go there every Wendsday morning with my church and have not had a bad experience once. The food there is amazing and I look forward to it each week. Our church is a large group and they get everyone's order right each time! Would highly recommend!! read more

They gave us the wrong schmear tub today. Called to see about returning to get the correct one. They refused to correct their mistake or offer a refund. Will no longer be going here. If you can't make a $5 purchase right when it's your fault then there's just no sense in giving a company like that any more business. read more

I had a great experience! I ordered catering for a work event and it was a big hit. Breakfast sandwiches were really good. It was super simple to place the order online. I also had a good experience with customer service responding to my inquiry same day. When it was time for pickup my order was ready and loaded on a cart. An employee at the location helped me load my order and help me check that everything was there. Very satisfied read more

First time trying Einstein bros and I hate to say it but this place is below mid. There really wasn't much to choose from which is kinda surprising for a bagel spot. I got a pizza bagel and I thought it was good, however for what you pay I just think it's meh! read more

Einstein Bros. Bagels - Bagels Near Me - Houston, Texas

The Everything bagel had very little seasoning on the outside or inside. It was really a plain bagel with a skimpy, light dusting of poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic salt, and onion flakes. It was flavorless with little contrast of textures. They applied a paper-thin layer of onion and chive cream cheese. This is whole new low level of miserly cheapness. What should have been an early morning food-gasm was completely worthless and devoid of any taste. The cheddar cheese, eggs, and bacon on a plain bagel reminded me of warmed up hospital food. There should have been some kind of sauce. A hollandaise or a salsa would have been a nice breath of life. Even, just a few dashes of Tabasco or Cholula, or Crystal's hot sauce would be nice. Instead, I was sold an air sandwich. Unless you're a robot, don't bother with Einstein. Keep going. read more

First time trying Einstein Bros and I was blown away. I was originally looking for a bagel sandwich that I saw on social media and came across Einstein through yelp! Lisa was the best, clerk ever! I was blown away by her Customer Service, she explained to me in details how to set up the customer loyalty program. The sandwich was delicious as well. Trust me, I'll be back! read more

Einstein Bros. Bagels - All-Nighter Egg Sandwich, with breakfast blend coffee. I sat on the patio outside. - Bagels Near Me - Houston, Texas

I went in around 12:30pm today. The bagel selection was minimal. I had to laugh when I went to pay and there was a tip suggestion. A tip reflects the service. No one welcomed me, smiled or thanked me. The girl who took my money snarled when I didn't leave a tip. read more

All our sandwiches were missing something. Lots of people just standing around. When I asked for my cheese they slapped it on without melting it. No napkins had to get paper towels from the restroom. Would not recommend this place. read more

Bagels are some of the best in town . My favorite is the Dutch apple with strawberry cream cheese. It's the best. Always fast service and nice people read more

I can always count on Einstein's for fast personable service, great breakfast and a cozy environment. I love their TEXAS brisket egg breakfast sandwich. It's delicious! I take the jalapeños off mine because it would burn my lips, but the flavor is still in the bun, so it has a great kick. The brisket is tender, the egg is perfectly placed with the smoky chipotle aioli to create a mouth full of tasty goodness in every bite! If you get one, it won't be your last. It's truly so good! I like their app too. Great points and easy to use. read more

Service was ok, friendliest person was the person bringing us our food. Food was amazing, we both had the maple breakfast sandwich. It was a little dirty, but we came after the morning rush. Restroom was ok. read more

This location can be hit or miss. My go-to is the Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich, but I sub the standard bagel for the cheesy hashbrown bagel . This location isn't all that close to me & if my order were done right more consistently, I'd make the journey more often. It tends to be busy, so I can't tell if it's a byproduct of heavy foot traffic or if it's this location. If I'm out that way, I like to treat myself to my fav & my pups to their doggy bagels. read more

Went in for a bagel and cream cheese.. They were busy but Ty still managed to.get my food to me quickly.

Lisa has been serving Houston FC's players for sometime now and she has been very amazing to our club. Our team's post training meal has been Einstein Bagels and Lisa has helped prepare and pack our very large order every morning. She does this with great compassion and charity. Thank you Lisa! - Houston FC read more

I love this place so much. Although bread is certainly not good for my waistline I do visit this spot in City Centre from time to time. My favorite bagels are the hash brown bagel and jalapeño cheese bagel. The staff at this location are always nice. This is a great pick up treat for breakfast for coworkers. Bagels are a little pricy though and will take you back 2-3 bucks a bagel. Still a good spot! read more

I been to a few bagel places around Houston, but never been to one like this before!! Let me tell ya the manager James was so very kind and helpful. He made sure to check on us, attended to our every need, just outstanding service overall which made the food 10 times better. My sandwich came out quick and fresh. 10/10 will definitely be returning again. read more

A local haunt for me. I enjoy a quick pick me up, and this location always has super fast service, and delicious bagels every time I have gone. The option to swap out bagels with any of their other flavour bagel is a plus. My go tos are their Asiago cheese, jalapeño cheddar, everything bagel, and blueberry bagel. Also, the lox bagel sandwich. read more

This place is clearly trained to be quick and that's it. They don't care about getting orders right and making the order look presentable. Speed comes at cost of getting orders wrong and crappy prepared orders. Slow and steady wins the race. I think if the service is good, and orders are always right people will be willingly to wait. read more

I honestly don't understand how there can be 16 employees behind the counter but they CAN NOT get an order correct. Two simple requests in an order of a normal bagel sandwich. Incorrect bagel, not toasted, and no sauce.. the sandwich comes with sauce! I also specifically asked for normal eggs on a sandwich and got egg whites.. I told the guy like 3 times. Einstein's food is fine, but how can you get the order so wrong? Also, the store is always so damn dirty. Clean the hell up for once. read more

I'd been to this location a couple of times before without issue, but this last visit really showed me exactly why so many recent reviews have been hovering in the two star range. We stopped by here on Saturday morning to meet up with some colleagues for a morning breakfast meeting. Naturally, the line was long, almost out the door, and ended up being out the door for the majority of the time they were operating. The staff seemed ample and hustling, but they must have been short staffed, because nothing was getting done out front. The napkin dispensers were perpetually empty, the trash bins were overflowing, the drink station was filthy, and we had to wipe down a couple of tables to sit at. When I finally made my way through to the front of the line and placed my order, they got one of the items wrong (overcharging me in the process), but I didn't see it until I got to the second station to pay and saw my receipt. When I notified the cashier, she promptly went over to one of the food prep areas, notified them of the correct order, and told me everything was taken care of, as if they didn't just overcharge me. I notified her that if I wasn't going to get a refund, just give me what I was incorrectly charged for, so they ended up doing that instead. They clearly had no interest in doing the right thing for the customer. I was told the OJ was in the cooler, which apparently is just a term, because everything in that cooler was at room temperature. Drinking OJ with ice is odd, but it's better than drinking OJ at room temp. While we were sitting, I heard at least three other customers comment about how their orders were wrong, ranging from something simple like "we said to go, not for here" to "this isn't even what I ordered." The terrible service and inaccuracy doesn't seem to be hindering the crowds, but then again, most of them are grab and go types who probably don't even realize their order is wrong until they're in their car and out of the parking lot. read more

Einstein Bros. Bagels - Barely any cream cheeses on my bagel! - Bagels Near Me - Houston, Texas

They have some good reviews and some poor reviews. There is a reason they have only 3 stars. It is a lack of customer service and/or customer service training. When an order is wrong, the people behind the counter are responsible, not the customer. When an order is wrong, it's the customer who is inconvenienced, more so than the staff. The bagel bins are clearly labeled (at least on the front side of the counter). It's really not that hard to grab the bagel the customer requested, slice it, toast it, and shmeer it with cream cheese. Is working an early morning shift hard? Yes. All the more reason to focus on better customer service. read more

Very quick and friendly service which is exactly what is needed on a workday morning!

This really hurts me to give them a one star but today was such a horrible experience. First of all there was 1 lady taking orders and then 1 lady ringing us up, and another man just standing there giving orders. So we pay and we go look for our table and not one was wiped off or clean. Not 1 table. So we sat down and waited for the order to come out. Now there is another lady bringing out orders and she seems so confused, so know so go what. I actually got in line to get a to go order and after standing in line waiting for some worker, any worker to come take my order, i gave up. I got tired of waiting. Food wasn't good. It wasn't hot. You waiting too long for the right food. Not a good experience. read more

Horrible service and we were just coming to pick up our online order. We have never been inside before and were unaware where to pick our order so we asked. The associate behind the counter seemed disrespected by our question. All we wanted to know was where to pick up our order lol. On top of that the egg sandwiches taste like they're from McDonald's. This spot is probably amazing if you're from Texas or have never had a well made bagel and a put together egg sandwich. We're from NY and this was not even worth a 2 star rating. Bagel Bob's on dairy ashford is way better. read more

6/2020 update: I want to support local businesses because the economy is hurting. No shade to EBB but with the new COVID situation the manager needs to enforce front of the house staff to wear masks. Manager was present and he popped in the front for 2secs without a mask but that is ok and in compliance with Houston health department but 1 of the four staffers in the front had no mask and was handling bagels in the toaster machine. She is had long red hair and because she is working in the front needs a mask. For her safety as much as the customers. Otherwise my bagel was wrapped well and toasted crispy with tons of flavor!!! read more

I'm not a usual Patron of Einstein's only because I don't have one near me now that it's not just down the street like the one in West U. I was scrolling through my emails yesterday and noticed one from EBB for $2 off Tuesdays (Schmear Society). I love a good deal & they have pretty good iced coffee so let's go! I stopped by before work and was determined to get a breakfast sandwich. The employees were friendly and helpful, I ordered the first picture I saw - the Nova Lox. With my $2 off, I got my sandwich for $5. The cashier was friendly & my food was prepared quickly. My sandwich was amazing!! I first tried a bagel sandwich similar to the NL when I was in Jersey.
