Warming my bacon egg bagel up since they serve em cold here

This place is terrible. I usually only go to the Evans location since they have literate employees. Unfortunately their bagels didn't proof this morning and were teeny tiny. I was forced to go to this location. They never serve warm food it's always cold to where the cheese doesn't met on the breakfast bagel. They also never cut the bagels. So we always end up going back inside to get what we need.

Old lettuce
Ariella C.

I love einstens but they have messed up my order several times this time they gave me old lettuce and they keep forgetting my sauce that goes in the turkey bacon avocado and i dont even work there the sandwich was sloppy do better or train your employees to know everything that goes on there sandwiches and to have fresh veggies how disgusting to eat old lettuce

Jonnah G.

Worst experience, looks like a whole bite of the bagel is missing. Took 20 minutes with no one in line for them to make two bagels.

Plain cream cheese
Enya T.

If you're allergic to cranberries be careful when ordering because you never know what they'll surprise you with or without (also forgot the coffee). Still tasted okay so 3/5

The bacon and cheddar and egg bagels are always a hit. They're must haves when going back to work on Monday mornings.

Good pizza making class for total beginners. Less so if you own a different pizza oven than theirs…read more Took the "Backyard Pizza Affair: Cooking at 900 Degrees" class. Honestly it was just okay for us. I'd say it's worth it if you're a complete beginner at pizza making, but here's the catch: in the class they use the mini Gozney ovens, and we have the full-size Gozney Dome. Practicing on a different oven than the one we'd actually be using at home was a bit off-putting, since so much of pizza making is dialing in your specific setup. That said, I still learned plenty that carried over! It's a 4-hour hands-on class, and you get to mix the dough, practice stretching, and launch your own pizza. The instructor, Gage, really knows his stuff and he was great at explaining the why behind each step, not just the how. I walked away with genuinely useful skills like freezing the dough and shaping technique. It's about $148 a person. The nice touches help. You get a pastry before and a cookie at lunch, plus a detailed recipe packet (dough variations, freezing, mixer methods, the works). And Rebel Bread is a working bakery, so it's a fun space to be in. My other note: the class runs long, and I wish it had been a bit shorter and tighter. For someone who's never made pizza before, I think it'd be worth it. For us, already set up with our own oven, it was a nice experience but not essential.

Everyone seems to be upbeat and quick to get your order out. The environment was not what I was expecting walking in. It has an old school vibe where it feels like you're actually in NY. Old wood interior, stone walls and tile flooring. It's nice that this place kept its charm. Definitely makes you feel like you need a newspaper to go with your order. Oh, and the bagels don't disappoint!

The other customers were all looking at me too. It was odd. They were calling out the wrong order, how am I supposed to know it was mine? Not a huge deal, just an area where they can maybe improve. The drink ended up being fine, just awkward pickup that caused an odd tiny little scene. The bagel was very plain and very dry. They could make offer more options and with more flavors or spreads. The ingredients seemed fine, it was just a very boring sandwich.

I was greeted with warm, welcoming smiles from the crew and my eyes were in awe by the colorful retro-style decor. Totally unique and I'm loving it- I don't get much of this aesthetic back home haha Sun City: 10/10 -Trust me, you'll get a cheese pull upon opening the wrapper. Pastrami was the meat of choice. The saltiness from the pastrami paired perfectly with the eggs and melty cheese! The hot honey made the sandwich well-balanced with sweetness too. I'll definitely order this again, but try it with their other bagel options (i.e., Maple Salt & Pepper). Better than your standard bagel sandwich. They had Mother's Day special menu items such as strawberry cheesecake cream cheese and blueberry cinnamon rolls! My friends and I ate well in Denver yet Call Your Mother Deli takes 1st place on our foodie crawl! However, the food and service more than made up for it! I ordered my sandwich on a zataar bagel and it was amazing. My friend had one of the create your own bagel sandwiches and she liked it as well. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the service was given how many takeout orders they had and the fact that the line was initially out the door when I got there. They have limited indoor seating and additional seating on the edge of the parking lot. Even though the parking situation is tough, I will definitely be back.

We finally made our first trip to the Hilltop location…read more We hail from DC, so we were surprised we learned about Call Your Mother after moving to Denver. Thank goodness we did! Their bagels are inspired by both New York and Montreal styles, giving them a perfectly chewy texture with just a hint of sweetness. They're fantastic on their own, but they really shine as the foundation for these breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the Thunderbird, and as someone who normally avoids both salt & pepper bagels (I know...weird) and sweet-and-savory combinations, I wasn't sure what to expect. Turns out I was completely wrong. The maple chicken sausage, fluffy bodega-style eggs, melty American and cheddar, spicy honey, and maple salt & pepper bagel somehow create the perfect balance. Nothing overpowers anything else, and every bite just works. My friend had the Pastrami Sun City, which was equally outstanding. The pastrami was tender and flavorful, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the spicy honey added just the right amount of sweetness without stealing the show. We also ordered the latkes, served with both sour cream and applesauce. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and exactly what you want from a great potato pancake. Being able to switch between the tang of the sour cream and the sweetness of the applesauce made them even better. And don't leave without grabbing a Chocolate Babka Muffin. It has that rich chocolate swirl you'd expect from babka with a crunchy, sugary exterior that's impossible to resist. The colorful, upbeat atmosphere matches the food, and it's clear this place has developed its own identity instead of trying to imitate a traditional deli. That's refreshing. Service is friendly and quick. We saw several people picking up ordrs to go as well. For a first visit, this was a home run. We'll absolutely be back - and next time we're diving into more of the bagels and schmears. Denver is lucky to have a spot like this.
