High ceilings, wooden flooring, spacious and tables are not cramped on top of each other. Excellent space to work or meet friends. There are two kiosks for self ordering. I got the Coconut Blue Cloud Matcha. Before I even taste the drink, it is gorgeous! Probably the most beautiful drink I have ever seen. It's green matcha foam on top, then this bright blue liquid and white/milk bottom. Once you mix it, it becomes a turquois color. It also taste really good. Refreshing coconut milk/water, subtle sweetness (70% sugar) and strong matcha. When you get to the bottom, you get the bits of coconut. I don't live near Davis but I would definitely come again the next time I am in the area.

So ofc when I was in town, I had to try it. This "Molly Tea" is not the same as the Bay Area's (no store listed in Davis on the official Molly Tea website) and is also known as "jasmine tea house" on Google Maps which confused me. Walking in there was a very unpleasant smell, almost like bleach/chlorine mixed with jasmine tea fragrance. (Not great!) We sat outside. However the drinks were not bad. Not as "presentable" as the authentic Molly Tea (no fancy straw or seal), but the osmanthus oolong milk tea was on par taste wise. Overall, it's a good "knock off molly tea" and satisfied our boba craving. It's good enough for Davis but def lacks the polish of real Molly Tea's.

It still taste good, just like the first time. It was a nice change of pace from the craziness of crazy D. There was a steady stream of customers coming here while we ate our bowl. It is very cozy in there, so just know you might not find seating if you dine in. Customer service was okay. It looked like they just wanted to take orders and not answer additional questions about the menu.

The prices for all the items is high considering the small portions. The prices range from $10-$16.50 depending on the size and item. Additional toppings can be added at an extra cost. There are tables and chairs indoors for customers to enjoy the refreshing acai bowls. The employee was not friendly and couldn't even force a fake smile for customers.

After breaking the ice and mentioning that it was my first visit to the Davis location, while my spouse had been there a few times before, the employees became more relaxed and accommodating. I appreciated their friendly service and the generous portion of the Kava Cloud Breaker. The Davis location offers plenty of flavors to choose from, which made for a great experience. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.

Perhaps those sensations would have paid off if they were followed by a calming or THC-like effect, but I didn't experience any change in mental state. The comfortable atmosphere saves this establishment from 1 star. Dim lights, leather couches, chill music, and colorful tiki wall art make for a decent study spot or date night. However, if you're hanging out at a business, you gotta support it, and to support it, you gotta buy something -- I can't see myself buying anything kava-related with any ounce of enjoyment. Surely there must be some variation of a kava drink that tastes delightful. I don't want to spend any more money finding out though.

I think maybe something was happening with…read morethe ordering because there was a miscommunication on the order but when asked my friend asked about remaking the drink, the staff member was rude and interrogated her about her specific order. I then got my order and it had the wrong cream topper which wasn't a huge deal and when I told the staff member that it was supposed to be a different topper she offered to dig her hand in the drink and replace it. When I obviously asked for the drink to be remade l, she rolled her eyes. I have worked in food service and I'm a student so nothing is ever that big a deal it just seems like maybe a rough day for that staff was affecting her attitude. Every other day it has been great with great staff.

In fact, not only do they bike deliver, bike roasted, fair trade, organic coffee means to your door once a week, it is some of the best damn coffee you will ever get. At $10 a quart jar, it's not expensive either. Plus, every time that box shows up on your doorstep, you get to sigh and think 'That's so Davis'

There are some outdoor seatings and umbrellas available, conducive to informal meetings and catch ups. There are also hot food for sale. It can get busy but they work fast.
