I haven't tried any food here and to be honest I'm not sure if they sell any besides snacks. Their service was okay, I will say the hookah had a bit of charcoal flavor in it in which the guy didn't bother to fix. Keep in mind we showed up at 12AM and it closes at 1AM. So we will were planning to head to boba bear but the guy insisted we stay because he can make the hookah quickly. However, when we got it there wasn't anything great about the hookah flavor wise besides it being smooth. That was the one thing I will say that Egypt did well was by having very smooth hookah despite the charcoal flavor. The setting is very nice and dark. Pretty quiet there and has very beautiful ancient Egyptian art. read more

I really enjoyed myself here. We walked in and were welcomed in immediately. The good music (90s- early 2000s) and hospitality kept us because we were looking for bars - Banana Leaf was recommended - but we stayed here and really enjoyed ourselves. The bar ended up not even happening. TIP: NO alcohol is served here The decor of fluffy clouds changing color is nice to look at.I believe there's outdoor seating, but the view from inside looking outside is nice. I smoke hookah here and there, but definitely enough to know that I've never had a glass bong (?) heat so fast and smoke so smoothly. Our coals were ashed frequently too. I'd definitely visit if I were ever in Rowland Heights again. The vibes were nice And I hope more people support - I can't imagine it's empty all of the time. Personally, i feel like i lucked up with it being empty but I did go on Monday night if that's telling you anything. read more

One my go to spots recently, although it's kinda hidden the vibe is chill & the gentleman that I have seen here working are always really friendly and accommodating! It's a great spot to chill & relax for some hookah. They do have a new policy on pricing but it's still really affordable, definitely should stop by to check it out! I've come here quite a few times now, and it is seriously one of my favorite hookah spots to go to. They place rap music and it's fairly dark but it's not pitch blank to the point you can't see. The vibes are absolutely great, I love the Egyptian theme with the cloudy ceilings and the Hookah fantastic. For a price of $25 you can get a hookah that doesn't burn, and the service is great. I had my Kohl's getting switched out quite often. The owner of this place is also Arab so you know they make great Hookah with authentic tobacco. Service was good went on a weekday so not as packed and price is around 30bucks bowl last for about 2hrs the worker was very knowledgeable about the flavors and the hookah is glass piece and rips very smooth. Newly remodeled interior with plenty of seating and tables. The staff was attentive and constantly replacing the coals. They also offer great deals during the week. (Monday- Free Tobacco refill and Tuesday- Free Drinks) The thing that stand out from this place is the chill atmosphere with tvs and lounging seats. The walls have lots of cool Egyptian inspired décor. The glass hookahs also make a difference and the cool lights make your experience a good one. Good quality tobacco and attentive workers. I stopped by Egypt Smoke yesterday for the first time and had an amazing hookah experience. First off, the staff is amazingly friendly and genuinely hospitable. They explain the different flavor mixes and also recommend flavors that'll suit your taste. Coal changes are always perfectly timed and they constantly check up on you to see if you need anything. Even though there were other groups around me, I felt like I was the only one there by the service I was getting (I'm super easy going too but appreciated it.) Thank you JAIME!!! You're the man. Seating area was large and can easily accommodate large crowds if need be. TV screens playing sports and movies along with hip hop music playing in the background makes for a relaxing environment. The glass hookah setup with "apple on top" heads were absolutely phenomenal!! Not only does it look cool, it never got harsh even after 3 hours and hits every single time! I was recommended Watermelon/Citrus Mist/Ambrosia and damn it was it fantastic!! Highly recommend for anyone who likes fruitier flavors. I believe the bill for my hookah and bottled water was around $30 and to me, it was priced just right for the entire experience at Egypt Smoke. I personally would come back in a heartbeat and would suggest anyone to try it out at least once. Shoot, if you don't like it, hit up another joint?! Life's that easy. TLDR: Good service, okay hookah ($25 each) but do not listen to any of their promotions, it's mostly to bait customers. Even the check-in $30 for 2 hookahs is a bait. I go here just about once a week or so, but everytime I go their policies sort of changes a little for the worse for some reason. My first experience here was very good, they told me about their Monday Tuesday promotions. Monday- Free Refill, Tuesday- Free Drink. (The promotion is written on their board first thing you see, can't miss it) Knowing this, the week following that I came on a Monday with a bunch of friends, but when I asked for the free refill, they refused and said that it only holds before 10 pm or whatever. That was okay, so another week following that, I went on a Tuesday, asked for a free drink, they said they ran out of everything, and can only offer 1 canned drink per group (monster), which was still okay with us because this place was dope and didn't make it mandatory for us to buy drinks like boba bear. However couple times after that, I noticed there was a Check-In for $30 for two hookahs, I asked them about that, the guy said "Oh naw, those are basic ones and can only support up to 3 people party, any additional members will have to be charged 5$ extra each member. This got me pretty shooked because why the hell would we order 2 hookahs for 3 people and those BS restrictions were not stated anywhere. I was pretty disappointed in their "bait and switch" tactic, would've appreciate it if they just honor their promotions. The hookah was ok, lasts about 1.5 hours for 3-4 people. I've tried Saint's Hookah nearby, their hookah is pretty decent too, cheaper for sure and they have a pool table that charges really cheap hourly, but if you're chill with the guy, he hooks it up for free. The best hits and the best service. What more can you ask for? The smoke is always super thick and smooth. I haven't gone to any other hookah place since this place. This is hands down better than boba bear (one of the other hookah places nearby). What really gets me is the service. They're always attentive, changing coals and checking up on you. The two guys who own the place (I believe) are Reggie and Javier. They're super friendly and remember your face (a major plus). Located on the corner of Fullerton and Colima it's on the top floor above Ajisen ramen. Parking is okay but limited. Honestly, if it's full just park across the street near yoshinoya and walk over. It's pretty close. I'm hooked on their ambrosia flavor mixed with mint, but it can get a bit hard. Flavor really depends on an individual's preference. Also, they play awesome music. read more

I have to admit I'm not an avid hookah smoker although all my friends are. They usually head off to one of the spots out in Anaheim since they feel Empire in Hacienda is dirty and Boba Bear in Rowland Heights is overpriced for what they get. One of them heard of a new spot called Egypt Smoke and all 7 of us decided to check it out this past weekend. Wow, this place is doing it right. They have high ceilings w/ fans and proper ventilation which is nice for non-smokers such as myself. Things are spaced out, great music selection (up-to date hip hop w/ a mixture of old school rap) and huge TVs for sporting events. Having said that.. I tried their all glass hookah since one of the owners promised it would be extremely smooth. Guess what? He was right. No cough, no stomach issues.. pure bliss (we did a delicious mango/coconut mix). All my friends including myself loved it! We managed to try their teas and smoothies and were very impressed too. They just need to work on providing a wider selection of beverages IMO. The whole staff was friendly and constantly checked in on us. We will definitely be coming back instead of going out of the way to places that don't deliver service or quality. Keep up the work guys! read more

I came here after dinner for a friends birthday. Walking into this place, I was immediately greeted then seated. I was new to this hooka place and was a bit confused with the menu. The person who sat us down helped us with our first time experience. Since we had a group of 5 people he suggested having two since there was a special. The best part of it was when we asked for a recommendation for flavors. The guy asked us our prefer taste like if we like tropical, mint, or sweet. This stood out to be most because it shows that the person knows what they are talking about and has tried them for themselves. Service here is great! This place is LEGIT... I'm an avid hookah smoker (and even my friends who are not) love how smooth the hookahs are at this place. The decor is completely different than your typical hookah lounge (think Arabian nights mixed in with the great pyramids of Egypt) over some sweet hip hop beats and just the right amount of dimness going on. The service here is amazing... guys and girls do coal service (frequently too if I may say so) and the two owners Javier and Reggie constantly stop by to see how everything is going. I LOVE places where owners take pride in their business and are always there to make sure everyone is happy. I will be a repeat customer for sure and I will be telling all my friends about it.
