I'm new to Grand Island, had an appointment at Quest-thought "let's try this restaurant for breakfast ". I am so excited to find a breakfast location on the island. Our server Lily was just great! She checked in with us "just enough" and we enjoyed a really good breakfast! I lean towards Eggs Benedict, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Nutella pancakes! So good!! As an Islander, we were so excited to have another breakfast spot open in our community. The food is very fresh and tastes good for the most part, although their home fries aren't that good. The service is generally amazing, but beware of busy times - it felt as though the kitchen could not keep up. We were here on a Sunday morning when everyone else on the Island decided to come! We couldn't have been more pleased! The service was excellent...every staff member was watchful for refills, etc. The omelettes were wonderfully fluffy with LOTS of the ingredients we chose. This is our second visit here and we could have written the same review then as our experience was the same. If you want a wonderful breakfast or lunch we would highly recommend this restaurant. One thing to remember...if when you order tomatoes or something in place of potatoes, or bagel instead of toast, be sure to ask if there is an additional charge. This is a fairly new restaurant. The service was extremely fast, about 10 minutes or so before we got our food, and the food was excellent. My daughter and I got waffles and more. It really was delicious . It's nice to see this restaurant is really starting to doing well. Grand Island really needed a great restaurant like this! read more

Tried for first time. Got there at 12:00 and got seated right away. Place was very busy so we were told things were a little backed up. 11/2 hours later. By that time room was bare except the 2of us and another table eating. When we complained to our waitress explained there were 3 tables outside and it would be at least 15 more minutes and said the water and 1 orange juice were on the house and apologized. read more

I am thrilled to have another choice of restaurant on Grand Island! They are trying....but I have a few suggestions. Invest in some good coffee....that is SO important. I am not a coffee snob, but do enjoy a GOOD cup when I go out for breakfast. Ordering with the waitress using a handheld device is a great idea....cuts down on running time for her, and the orders go in right away! The home fries left a lot to be desired...barely lukewarm, and seemed like yesterday's potatoes. My partner did not finish his either, and we did not discuss them. My sausage was so so, nothing to say "mmmm" about. The staff was very pleasant and efficient. We like being able to pay with a credit card at the table. We will go back ....I am hoping they make some improvements! read more

Lived on the island for the last year. I was eager to try this reasturant for some time. At fist glance the place seemed great. Nice atmosphere and a decent crowd. However, soon after we sat down it sort of went down hill. The food wasn't very timely, our coffees remained empty for they entire hour that we were there, and we were not checked upon once. The food was just average. Noting special at all. We had to ask the waitress for the check, for she was catering to a party I think he back room and did not assist us at all. Would only recommend this reasturant if you have time to kill, do not want to spend a lot for breakfast, and are okay with mediocre food. read more

The place to go for breakfast if you are visiting Grand Island, Ny or Niagara Falls! We tried this place on our honeymoon because another place was closed. Boy what a delicious find! The food was incredibly fresh and tasty! We both tried dishes we had never tasted and were not disappointed. We even got the option for fresh fruit instead of potatoes with our meal which we appreciated. The service was on point with our server being very attentive through the visit. So glad I decided to check out this new restaurant in Grand Island!! VERY pleased with my experience as I knew I would be as soon as I stepped foot inside. This neat, clean, and beautifully decorated spot was very welcoming and did not disappoint!! We were seated within minutes of arriving and our delicious Underground Coffee Brew was promptly brought to the table. Being a keto girl, I have dietary limitations. Thankfully the waitress was more than helpful and accommodating to make sure I was served a keto friendly breakfast entrée. I went with the Chicken Souvlaki breakfast that was served to me on a bed of spinach. It was delicious!! The chicken was tender and marinated perfectly and the over easy eggs were cooked exactly as ordered. I was very happy with my total experience from the decor...to the service...to the food quality and wait time. I will be back again VERY soon to try out some of the lunch options!! I really would like to give this place good reviews. I love to support local businesses. We have ordered take out from them a few times. Sometimes they have messed up the order. We have also received fruit with mold in our take out. They also are always off on how long it will take. I really do try to be understanding during the pandemic but by now they should have a better system in place. The last straw for us was waiting for our take out at the restaurant (it was 40 minutes pass the time they stated) and while waiting we watched a person come in for dine-in and have their food served and ate their meal before we got our take out food. read more

The atmosphere is nice, and the waitresses are nice. But the service was EXTREMELY slow, it took over and hour and a half to get our food. Then when the food came it was cold and mediocre. Upon walking in, I was very disappointed. There's no hostess and the staff complained about our party of 6. Seemed as though the staff was very uncoordinated and they bickered throughout the entire experience. Lots of miscommunications between the servers and the cook. Food was satisfactory at best and that was about the only remotely positive thing I can say about this establishment. Server was decreasingly helpful as we sat and ordered. The food took over 50 minutes to arrive. The staff talked about our table blatantly in front of us in a derogatory manner. Overall would not return under any circumstance. read more

Went Sunday morning November 10th for breakfast. Long story short we got there was a sign that said please wait to be seated. the waitress wanted to see us in a corner we asked for a booth she said the booth was closed. We were seated our order was taken 15 minutes after we sat down. in that time , people came in and they sat them in booths. That where supposedly closed. Still waiting for our food, we watch 3 different customers come in and leave. Because no one came to seat them. . Food was sitting at the counter waiting to be served for 7 Minutes. our waitress was taking other customers orders. the food came and . It looked awesome, put it was cold. Told the waitress she said she could take it back and have new made we said no thank you just paid for a coffee and we left. I would love to go back and give it a second chance. They've only been open for 5 weeks she told us. But they really need to get themselves organized. I wish them the best of luck BUT IN THE MEAN TIME they are losing a lot of customers. read more

This place was highly recommended, so we tried it. It took 10 minutes to get a table and place our order, the place was a quarter to 1/2 full. The people after us were told 10-15 minute wait with plenty of tables open. After waiting 25 minutes and watching the people who came in 10 minutes after us get served, we asked the waitress about our order. We got told the food was made to order, so it takes longer. 10 minutes later, a total of 35 minutes, and still no food, and another couple who just came in were served. We left, so don't know if the food was good or not. It shouldn't take 35 minutes for a sandwich and omelet. The waitress was very nice . We will never go back. read more

Waited for 1.5 hours to get breakfast. Nothing extraordinary about the food. The Nutella infused pancakes were just pancakes with little Nutella sprayed on top( was expecting it in the batter). I ordered online and it took 10min more than initial time quoted for a sandwich and salad. The food was fresh but the side of homemade chips were too tough to eat. The Greek salad was the same as every other island restaurant but they did let you add and subtract what you wanted in it. The counterperson wasn't the friendliest and I had more help with getting my order from a server. Price was ok but I would have expected better tasting food. Portions were average size. read more

I made a yelp account strictly to defend this restaurant. After reading some of these negative reviews I've leaned that people have a very easy time criticizing an establishment over the tiniest things. I've chalked it up to the mini power trip the internet has provided people to hide behind screens to point fingers and hide not realizing the impact it can make. Especially just half truth, lies and over exaggerated stories as I see on her. This is a brand new restaurant who is providing well priced delicious food all cooked from scratch, eliminating processed food garbage that the island has been plagued with. It's owned by a family with roots to the island. Never have I had a bad meal. Wait time when I first started going was long, but you show me any restaurant that doesn't have that, especially when it's brand new and anticipated. I know everyone on the island was very excited to have a restaurant like this, so it's so upsetting and annoying to see people wanting to damage its reputation so fast. I've seen lies on here and just absolute pettiness. People saying " let's go to Denny's" because they can't wait a few minutes to be seated. Just absolute irrational behavior. We need this. We have nothing here that brings outsiders here, we are nothing more than land to get people to Niagara Falls, maybe they'll stop at tim hortons on the way. Now we have this and instead of being there for it we are trying to ruin it. We need to support them to support our community. Great food great price read more
