Overall good breakfast. I had their corned beef hash with scrambled eggs, toast, fruit. The hash was very good, lean, diced fine, and cooked as a thin layer to maximize sear. It was then served folded over like an omelette. It had some nice slight sweetness to it, not from sugars I don't think, but probably some other ingredients. I'd get this again. Eggs Benedict is another of their specialties. Eggs were fine, not over buttered like much Southern cooking is. Only complaint: the coffee is watery and burnt tasting. It is probably low grade coffee beans. Service was fast and attentive. Store was clean. Parking is plentiful. I want to rate 4.5, but yelp forces whole numbers, so I rounded up. read more

I had curbside service. Their veggie omelette with grits & toast was delicious and filled me up for hours. Customer service was good too.

Used to be a weekly visit and then the one time the waitress acted like I was ignoring her - said I don't want to bother you? Their Biscuits and Gravy are OK, but I don't like grilled biscuits! I don't understand why they don't bake their biscuits? I've found the same issue with many restaurants in this general area - they grill the biscuits - lazy? read more

Went while visiting family. It was worth the wait. They have GLUTEN FRIENDLY PANCAKES!! y'all these tasted like what I remember regular pancakes from Cracker Barrel tasting like! Then they put their peaches on them and OMG it was the BEST! Super friendly staff. If I could give more stars I would! read more

Came here on Sunday morning at 9 am and the staff was very pleasant!! Not to mention that our food came out in less than 10 minutes. My eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes were delicious. My boyfriend got the corn beef hash, eggs and his favorite grilled blueberry muffin. Honestly, he raves about the muffin everytime we come!! The coffee was pretty scolding but that's not something anyone can really control. Just be careful! It's a diner style, sorta small but I think that makes it intimate. I can see this place getting busy after Church or on a Saturday. Sumter needs more places like this. read more

Fresh food, friendly service and the right price! Try it out. Scrambled Eggs with bacon or chicken salad spinach sandwich are delicious!!

Been here several times since moved to Sumter in February this year. Food always very good and excellent portions. Server this past Thursday AM was Trevon, and he was outstanding! Very helpful, fun banter that's much needed in this crazy COVID time, and extremely attentive to my wife and me. Highly recommend restaurant and Trevon if lucky enough to get his table. So very important to support our local eateries during this most stressful time when so many are struggling. read more

Good, solid breakfast joint... albeit a little pricey. Two people with an omelet for one, and a couple of pancakes for the other was nearly $30. That seems excessive to me. read more

Food is always good! Customer service is great! Love eating breakfast here! Definitely recommend

Found this place on Yelp during a visit to Florence, SC. My sister and I came to check it out. Cute place. Super clean. Good menu. We had Florentine Eggs Benny. It was decent. Potatoes had good flavor. Biscuits and gravy were ok. French toast was bomb! Crystal took really good care of us. read more

Here in South Carolina for a family event. I live in New York, I am so happy we came here to grab a quick bite to eat. The food was delicious and the service is top class! The food came out so quick too! The decor and atmosphere here is relaxing. They even have TVs to watch in the background read more

I'm a little upset that I forgot to take pictures...but if you're in Sumter, SC for whatever reason, make sure you stop here! This is probably the best breakfast you're going to find, period! The food was amazing! I ordered a vegetable omelet, my husband ordered the Greek omelet, and we both ordered halves of the sweet potato pecan waffles (instead of toast). Let me just say, I have NEVER been to a restaurant that allows that. Usually you can sub toast or biscuits for a pancake, but never a waffle--or a specialty waffle at that! The food was very good, and we didn't even have to wait long. We were so relieved to find great dining and such reasonable prices! Do yourself a favor and come here instead of Waffle House. read more

This place was one of my favorite breakfast/ brunch places in Sumter. Good customer service although we had to wait 15 mins to be seated (probably because it was a Sunday morning). Overall great dining experience. read more

Tried this place twice and disappointed both times. First time was able to order lunch (a simple veggie wrap) but had to wait 30 minutes for it. Server never came by to check on us or give an update. There were only 3 other tables, so being busy wasn't an issue. The second time we were never greeted to our name on the wait list. *** slow service, inattentive service*** come on get on the ball. read more

I love eating here when we visit our daughter. Best place for breakfast. The breakfast is amazing.

I had the corn beef hash platter, I didn't prefer the corn beef hash but my girlfriend liked it so I didn't really mark down for that. I think the serving size on the hashbrowns for my platter was a little bit less than I expected but my girlfriend had the southwestern home fries and they were really really good and a larger portion . service was excellent. nice atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. recommend this restaurant. read more

A little pricey, but very delicious. I love the eggs Benedict definitely will be back! Very good food

Very good! The home fries dish was delicious. We both got the traditional and it is highly recommended! The service was great and the place was very clean. We liked the egg count on the wall! Over 111000 eggs since 2016! read more

We love this place! Good, fresh food everytime. The servers are great too! My only hiccup is waiting to be seated... no matter whether they are packed to the gills, or there are 10 empty tables, they will ask you to wait to be seated - EVERY TIME! My husband and I have a running joke/ bet - will we have to wait or not to be seated, loser pays for breakfast - HA! EDIT--- We just visited again this weekend and the seating issue has been resolved!!! They had a dedicated hostess and seated us immediately! THANK YOU FOR THIS! read more

Liked this place. No nonsense breakfast with quick service. Our hostess was very polite. She walked outside to find us and deliver our to go order which I thought so polite. We had a breakfast burrito and an eggs BLT. The food was delicious with good flavors. I still remember the taste of the bacon and I am not a bacon person. I will definitely stop by if I need a quick tasty breakfast. read more

Kristy was super friendly and gave great service. The grits were the best I've ever had. Everything was hot and delicious, cute place!

My favorite place for breakfast and lunch. Great service and consistent food! Always good!

Every time I go to Sumter, SC and Myrtle Beach, we always go for breakfast at Eggs Up Grill. I have not had a bad breakfast. My favorite dish is the banana pancakes and turkey bacon with hash browns. Did I say I love the banana pancakes? The two pancakes are large, fluffy and not doughy. You can ask them to put the other items like Carmel on the side. I have also tried the waffles and they are just as good. Most places don't serve turkey bacon, but they do. This is one of the best turkey bacon I have tasted. I look forward to going back each time I'm in SC. I would love to open a franchise if I had the funds in Roanoke. The place is always clean! read more

The food is always the way I like it and the servers are always friendly my favorite breakfast place

We had breakfast at the Eggs Up Grill a week ago and give a good thumbs up on the food here. It was very good and we had plenty. We have to give 5 stars to our waiter, Tory. He was fantastic. Very personable and attentive in seeing to all our needs. All that said, we have to say four stars due to the fact that it could certainly be a cleaner place. We're sure to give it a try again when back in town. read more

The best breakfast spot I've found living here for a year in Sumter, the second best American style diner I've found overall, but the best I've been to in South Carolina. My absolute FAVORITE breakfast place! Kristi and Jessica are the sweetest! We go every Saturday! Love it there!

I'm so late posting my review. This restaurant was better than IHOP and Waffle house. I had a grilled cheese with bacon and hashbrowns, which was fresh and delicious. My husband had pancakes and they were delicious. It is a cozy restaurant to have breakfast or brunch. The tables and seats were clean. I am a fan! read more

My daughter and I come here every Saturday and Sunday and LOVE it. The folks know us and are wonderful. What I order is a bit odd but they cook it exactly how I like it. I used to eat at waffle house because they serve real eggs but have found this to be not only superior not the ambiance is a lot more pleasant. Great place!!! read more

Always consistent- welcoming, clean, great service and good food. Other restaurants could learn from this place! Keep up the good work!

I gave eggs up grill another shot this morning, Ok here it goes I ordered Steak and Eggs, (this was on a Wednesday morning not crowed at all so I got a booth Yea!) The place was MUCH cleaner than my last visit, I was dinning alone this morning and first thing I noticed was how clean the floors were big +, when I sat down (they had the "please be seated" sign up) so no cramped small little table thank God (they are still there but like I said before if you are lucky you get a big comfortable booth) back to things that are of some importance (besides comfort) the table was immaculately clean and neat no grease at all HUGE improvement! The staff were different than I had before (as I used to go mostly on Sundays for breakfast), but were every bit as nice, super friendly and a general pleasure to be around. The food came to my table quickly and was hot and fresh, the potatoes were very good and the eggs were prepared properly (harder than it sounds around Sumter), but the steak was VERY disappointing although it was topped with an exceptionally well flavored tomato that helped it out a little but not enough for me to half way finish it, also there was some very good and crispy garlic bread toast (that for breakfast was a lot better than you would think) I am glad that I took the suggestion left for me by (I think manager) and gave them another try they are now back no my rotation not a 5 star (steak was not good) but they have definitely improved to a solid 4 and are as I have now stated exceptionally clean. Clean goes along way with me as do other little things like soda being fresh (and theirs are fresh) some Sumter restaurants the Soda comes out of the machine flat how do you even do that? Anyway; I digress again vastly improved will eat here again. read more

My wife and I went here with her family while they were visiting a few months ago and loved it. We ended up going back 3 weeks ago for a breakfast date and we've been there every Saturday morning since. Needless to say this place is great. Staff is always friendly and genuinely cares about your experience. Food is delicious as well. I usually get the goodness gracious omelet and my wife gets the mason Dixon and we share a sweet potato pecan waffle.
